Thank you for the review. I’ve been trying to figure out how to set a floor in a steel tiny house trailer foundation. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about mold and mildew around the base. The problem seems to be that they don’t use pressure treated wood for the mud sill, lest the steel foundation reacts to the mud sill. Advice that applies directly to tiny house trailers: leaving a 3/8” gap at each end of planks wedged between steel to allow for expansion. Thank you for that, I would not have thought of doing that and it is in none of the videos I’ve seen so far.
glad you enjoyed it, I also just uploaded wall framing few days ago ruclips.net/video/LBa_w3PMxaw/видео.html and soon will follow up roofing and maybe steel framing if time is "friendly"
Hello, nice presentation of the topic. I have a question: how is the entire floor frame, including the header joists and and joists, attached to the sill plate. As a consequence, it is the fastening of the entire structure of the house to the foundation!
With anchor bolts, I talk about this here "Introduction to foundations part 1" ruclips.net/video/13kzbhMvrAo/видео.html ... I also recommend "Introduction to foundations part 2" ruclips.net/video/JhiIyIjAihU/видео.html and "Wall Framing Basics" video will be coming out in the following days

You forgot to layout joists for tubs, toilets, and bearing walls above. You dont want a joist in the same location as a toilet drain or you will be butchering it out after the fact.
I'm here because of the gentrification of the apartment across the street from me is being built up and the noise is offensive from all the construction trucks and so on so I figure if I got to listen to all this crap why not understand what they're doing
I figured since I read about your being annoyed by the gentrification noise and your subsequent edification, I ought look up the word "gentrification" and understand what concept you conveyed

In reality builders are cheap and don't do anything extra
Bad framing. You never done it in real life. Subfloor panels shouldn't be on the edges, exposed to the elements
Basics ..LOL
