Honestly if D2 had the same freedoms as Fallout New Vegas I would leave the facist government faction that has the policy of shooting anyone with a hoodie on sight and believes looting is a capitol offence and only permits civilians in it's borders as long as the provide for their war machine and any infraction gets you kicked out. You basically play a monster in the game but the game itself doesn't seem to realize that.
Glad you are having fun with it, i see a totally different game then you but then again I'm more worried about the pvp, I still can't hate someone for having fun with a game they enjoy and your sub count tells me your most likely not getting paid for this, at least I hope not, but you did earn a subscriber from me because for all its faults there really isn't anything else I would rather play and yes other channels have focused on the negatives enough for the whole community to be aware of by now, at least those of use who are still here playing this game after all the performance issues, erratic AI, unbalanced pvp, being stuck in the wrong world tier, certain skills not working even after multiple patches to fix them, empty dark zones that were supposed to be full because of the "new" match making system, and the way networking caters to laggy players most of the time. In my opinion there are more than "2 main categories" when it comes to the issues this game has. I played the first game for almost 5000 hours and wanted and expected this game to be much better than it is in respect to bugs, unbalanced game play and pvp and just over all fixing things from the first game and learning from the first game.

Travis Heitzman he was truthfull. Just because you don't enjoy doesn't mean he's lying. Look at the comment above you. That's how you make a subjective opinion-based comment.
Only major gripe with this game is the bullet sponge factor. It just doesn’t work in a realistic setting. They should have made this a regular shooter and not a looter shooter.
That's the main problem of Division for me. They think RPG and looter is always equivalent of damage sponge, which is not. You can have a good RPG and looter without relying on damage sponge trope.

This sets the tone for the rest of the game, everything you pickup on weighs in into the seriousness of the story, making it feel like what you are doing has meaning. There are no shocking plot twists that make no sense, but instead have a pretty realistic feel to it (even though it's fiction), it's not exaggerated. You go to a settlement to help them rebuild, instead of finding out what actually matters, find the root of the problem, you pickup hints here and there, but the story doesn't make much sense, they just send you from one iconic location to the other in order to distract you from the fact that the story is a dumpster fire. This for me (even though the story sucked already) was the nail in the coffin, I knew I never wanted to make another character again just to play the story, it's simply really crap. You can have good voice actors, but if there is no soul in the story, just stop trying and focus on the gameplay, because then you're just wasting time. The loot: This counts for both Division 1 and 2, the loot system is not good, it's simplified and in Division 2 too chaotic. In The Division (1 & 2) there is a different way to have loot drop compared to other RPG's, at low level you get mainly grey and green items, but as you level up higher, the rarity of item drops increases too?!.. Why? What is wrong with having a rarity loot table, why does the rarity of an item change depending on what level I am, it shouldn't. Loot rarity should instead be based on how rare an item is, yellow & especially exotic items should be top tier items that have a low chance to drop, instead the only thing that drops at max level is exclusively yellow. This system is incredibly dull and boring, and the fact that everything in my inventory is now the same color, distinguishing between what I'm wearing, what I find interesting to keep from some reason, I now have a backpack filled with possible useless items because eventually I forget what I saved a certain piece of gear for or if I wanted to trash some of those items, in Division 2 this is even worse because now I have even more item slots to remember what items I want to keep. This is the first RPG, in which I find digging through my loot bag is actually a drag, the way to recognize items in your inventory just like in Division 1, is just really dull, there is no clear way to see at first glance if the item you picked up is clearly better because there are simply too many stats to take into account and too random, while deciding which gear pieces or mods for that matter to keep. You also have a finite number of item slots in your backpack and stash, which makes looting even more of a drag, at max level all you do is pickup EVERYTHING because everything is the same rarity level so everything is a potential upgrade, I can't know if the item that drops is crap or useful because I first need to compare the items to what I'm wearing. I never thought I'd say this but this is the first game franchise in which I experienced loot comparing to be the worse part of playing the game, because you pickup so many items that after doing 1 mission, I have to spend 5-10 minutes just to sort all the loot I found, with most of the time 9/10 items being absolute garbage and then you start over again, just the thought of it discourages me from playing the game. In The Division 2 skill mods are probably the worse part to the item system, because there are already 9 main item slots (3 weapon slots and 6 armor slots), but added to that you now have 1 gear mod button that opens up to 3 gear mod slots and ALL 8 of the skill mods, and most skills have more than 2 slots in which a mod fits, who is going to remember every mod they have equipped in every piece of equipment they have? There is no way to see this when looking over my inventory at first glance, instead I have to open up a second layer of my inventory in order to see what mod I had installed, it's horrible, probably one of the worst RPG inventories I have ever encountered. I can keep going on about this game, but Division 2 has let me down, Division 1 was good, but mainly because of well told story line, Division 2 lacked this and in my honest opinion fails to deliver a game that is well crafted, you can feel that too many people had an opinion about how every item / itemization and UI should look like. My advice to Massive Entertainment is, go back to the drawing board, and while you're at it do 2 things: 1. Create an interesting and immersive and compelling story line and less overreacted story developments and plot twists. 2. Get rid of most of the people in the company that had any say in the story / itemization / UI, because clearly there was no solid vision on any of it, you don't need more than 3 people to develop a good UI. Small game studios made a game with less than 30 people and they turned out great, I see it all the time, the moment a company vastly increases it's employee's, the quality of the games go backwards because there are too many voices meddling with what things should look like. These were my 2 cents..
The two biggest flaws in Division 2 are the lack of narrative goals and the repetitive RNG looting. This game basically has no point to motivate continuous gameplay. Reading intel data is a poor substitute for interactive campaign objectives. Grinding hours of gameplay for random rewards is very disappointing. The game ends up being a massive package of potential that never really satisfies the players. We know what we’re playing for, but never really get why.
James Belcher So, getting around 100 hours of enjoyment in one playthrough is not enough for a AAA title? Man, I wonder how all these story drive games sell....
James Belcher Oh wow, so you're trying to big-dick on me for speeding through a video game? Wooow congrats I'm sooo impressed.... At least Div2 has some form of mission change in its endgame. What did you do in Div1: Farm the same mission over and over again. and again. and again. "Lighthouse here"... lol
*Takes acid* *puts in the division 2* *goes on a rooftop in the game* This is the life.... *is actually screaming internally because he sees gigantic colorful centipede dry humping his carpet*
i loved division 1, i thought it had a good balance of content for group PVE especially the incursions and a hook (can’t explain it) for dragging me to the dz for pvp every night. In division 2, once i completed all the PVE activities and hit the 500 cap, i completely lost interest and went back to Rainbow Siege. when division 1 came out, it was something new and fresh. for division 2, to me, something is missing that makes me want to grind and roam around the dz looking for trouble. For me the key indicator of how good a game is, it’s total playing time, Div1 ~ 1200 hours (b4 i went cold turkey) and for div2 ~ 159 hours (b4 i lost interest). I’m looking forward to Rainbow Six Siege Year 4 content whilst i wait patiently for Rainbow Six Quarantine and Ghost Recon Breakpoint!! bring it on.
Welcome to every game community ever lol when it comes to skill based gameplay theres always going to be bad eggs that only find enjoyment in shit talk and griefing.
Only problem I have with the game is the story is pretty garbage, even compared to the first game. I shouldn't have to go through 6 menus to find the cinematic videos. A little bit of story structure never hurt anything, and could have helped the game immensely, considering it's got Tom Clancy's name on it, a guy who wrote amazing books. Also, remember when Bioware got blasted with the "My face is tired" thing from Andromeda, well at least they tried putting in lip syncing animations, Division 2 couldn't even bother with it through 80% of the game. I love the gameplay, and the loot, and pretty much everything about Division 2, but the storyline and animations are just lazy.
one thing i dislike about the story in D2 is the lack of follow up on what D1 set up with the russians and the turncoat division agents. D2 feels like they just rolled back the story from the last few missions of division one like it never happened and instead took a safer tone. Maybe they will expand it in DLC or D3, idk but it just felt very inconsistent
When I was a kid, it was about cheat codes and archaic strap-on cartridge f@cking, to get an edge. These days, it's about difficulty - smart(er) difficulty and from games involving combat, gunplay ? Auto-aim clicked on the wrong 'local girls' link and obnoxious weapon paint-jobs were instantly identified on the battlefield and promptly shot 🙍
@@RobertLindabury they sound like shit, the division had better gun sounds loud bangs gunfire echo threw the street s of NY,It has nothing to do with a new headset or sound system,my audio set up is as good as it gets
My friend and I were looking for a new co-op story game after we completed Far Cry (5 and New Dawn), and decided to get the Division 2. I personally found it wayyyyy more entertaining with friends, and the missions are really entertaining with others.
I love the divisions concept but I don’t really have any interest in the story characters that have as much personality as a piece of wood the only ones I care about are the hunters(not really characters so much as enemies) and Arron keener from the first one.
I love Ghost Recon, and why I don't like The Division as a game for me is simple: I am old and slow, my body hurts. I do believe I would enjoyed this game if I was 10 or 15 years younger and my body didn't hurt from just being alive. Just because I can't physically play the game myself, personally I love watching people play it, and for me it cost to much for me to buy just to show some respect and support to Ubisoft and not play. From what I have seen, this game is a great game.
It was his video that convinced me to try Ghost Recon wildlands. After that I gave this game a try and just could not get into it. I guess because it's not Ghost Recon wildlands. Oh well I'll just have to wait for break point. I still don't know why I could not get into this game it just wasn't fun.
I do love Ghost Recon: WIldlands though. I only wish they'd let you spawn vehicles where you want instead of randomly in really stupid areas. Sometimes they spawn in the enemy base! LOL! They should let you pick a spawn area just like you do with mortar fire.

13:41 My entire experience with the crates. All I wanted was a nicer hat than the default black beanie I had. I never found a good enough replacement until I got my first Hunter Mask
yeah the game is beautiful and there's tons of things to do in it but the problem is the underlying RPG elements that are required for this game are broken their you grind grind grind in the division you could go out and get the gear pieces you need work on getting the rolls right on them and eventually you could just recalibrate them and built the exact build you want it it might take you a little grinding but you could get it done you can grind forever and not get the bills you want in the division 2 and again like I said even once you do you'll go on the dark zone and you can run around and dark phone all day and not find another player or another group

Loot rarity should instead be based on how rare an item is, yellow & especially exotic items should be top tier items that have a low chance to drop,
instead the only thing that drops at max level is exclusively yellow. This system is incredibly dull and boring, and the fact that everything in my inventory is now the same color,
distinguishing between what I'm wearing, what I find interesting to keep from some reason, I now have a backpack filled with possible useless items because eventually I forget what
I saved a certain piece of gear for or if I wanted to trash some of those items, in Division 2 this is even worse because now I have even more item slots to remember what items I want to keep.
This is the first RPG, in which I find digging through my loot bag is actually a drag, the way to recognize items in your inventory just like in Division 1,
is just really dull, there is no clear way to see at first glance if the item you picked up is clearly better because there are simply too many stats to take into account and too random,
while deciding which gear pieces or mods for that matter to keep. You also have a finite number of item slots in your backpack and stash, which makes looting even more of a drag,
at max level all you do is pickup EVERYTHING because everything is the same rarity level so everything is a potential upgrade,
I can't know if the item that drops is crap or useful because I first need to compare the items to what I'm wearing.
I never thought I'd say this but this is the first game franchise in which I experienced loot comparing to be the worse part of playing the game,
because you pickup so many items that after doing 1 mission, I have to spend 5-10 minutes just to sort all the loot I found, with most of the time 9/10 items being absolute garbage
and then you start over again, just the thought of it discourages me from playing the game.
In The Division 2 skill mods are probably the worse part to the item system,
because there are already 9 main item slots (3 weapon slots and 6 armor slots),
but added to that you now have 1 gear mod button that opens up to 3 gear mod slots and ALL 8 of the skill mods, and most skills have more than 2 slots in which a mod fits,
who is going to remember every mod they have equipped in every piece of equipment they have? There is no way to see this when looking over my inventory at first glance,
instead I have to open up a second layer of my inventory in order to see what mod I had installed, it's horrible, probably one of the worst RPG inventories I have ever encountered.
I can keep going on about this game, but Division 2 has let me down, Division 1 was good, but mainly because of well told story line, Division 2 lacked this and
in my honest opinion fails to deliver a game that is well crafted, you can feel that too many people had an opinion about how every item / itemization and UI should look like.
My advice to Massive Entertainment is, go back to the drawing board, and while you're at it do 2 things:
1. Create an interesting and immersive and compelling story line and less overreacted story developments and plot twists.
2. Get rid of most of the people in the company that had any say in the story / itemization / UI, because clearly there was no solid vision on any of it,
you don't need more than 3 people to develop a good UI. Small game studios made a game with less than 30 people and they turned out great, I see it all the time,
the moment a company vastly increases it's employee's, the quality of the games go backwards because there are too many voices meddling with what things should look like.
These were my 2 cents..
"I want my mommy" at 4:20~ was enough for me to buy this game. :)
Thank youtube for suggesting me this vid , great work dude ! I subbed
It's almost 100% accurate, some shops are relocated or not shown.
Maj0r Lee has not reached WT5 nor has he attempted the RAID :)
Emotes in my games can go answer the big Craigslist ad in the sky 😐
The two biggest flaws in Division 2 are the lack of narrative goals and the repetitive RNG looting. This game basically has no point to motivate continuous gameplay. Reading intel data is a poor substitute for interactive campaign objectives. Grinding hours of gameplay for random rewards is very disappointing.
The game ends up being a massive package of potential that never really satisfies the players. We know what we’re playing for, but never really get why.
Gonna buy this 'cause I can't afford acid.
What did you do in Div1: Farm the same mission over and over again. and again. and again.
"Lighthouse here"... lol
Yo! You have a voice for broadcasting and your funny ash. Keep it up!
Did that guy really expect a looter shooter to not have violence in it
That fucking rope glitch got me a few times, almost made me quit the game since it would happen in the middle of missions
*Takes acid*
*puts in the division 2*
*goes on a rooftop in the game*
This is the life....
*is actually screaming internally because he sees gigantic colorful centipede dry humping his carpet*
Love how they want the game to address Trump in the reviews, When Divison 1 and 2 take place in 2016.
Yeah, its funny how everyone forgets that this takes place in the past, much like the Harry Potter series.
@@JamesBuggemo how care about Orange head anyways?
Breakpoint introduced me to you... Division 2 just got me to subscribe. Cheers
i loved division 1, i thought it had a good balance of content for group PVE especially the incursions and a hook (can’t explain it) for dragging me to the dz for pvp every night.
Man you convinced me to buy it, along with Wild Lands now that they're both on sale!
I love the Division 2! Really Addictive Game!
The problem I have with The Division is that the people I've interacted with who play this game think they're better than everyone.
It's an average game
I thought it was better than D1, but then I hit Gear Score 500. 😴
Beretta Cobretti Tell me what you can do in Div1 endgame you can't in Div2.. I'm waiting..
@@MisterK9739 PVP
Beretta Cobretti PVP is garbagio in both games...
@@MisterK9739 Opinions are like assholes, evrybody's got one.
one thing i dislike about the story in D2 is the lack of follow up on what D1 set up with the russians and the turncoat division agents. D2 feels like they just rolled back the story from the last few missions of division one like it never happened and instead took a safer tone. Maybe they will expand it in DLC or D3, idk but it just felt very inconsistent
Watched a couple vids great content and you mentioned Salvia in one video and acid in this one boom subscribed
15:42 Somebody isn't in WT5 yet....
I was just wondering what the difference is between "the truth" and "the real truth"?
This helped me a lot on making my decision on whether buying the division 2 is worth it, tysm 😭
Menu UI team for Breakpoint saw Div2 setup and said :
"Let's do acid."
One of my issue with Division 2 is the way guns sound the AR and sub sound similar almost like a type writer, overall the weapons sound weak
Get a better sound system or better headphones. They do not sound weak at all.
@@RobertLindabury they sound like shit, the division had better gun sounds loud bangs gunfire echo threw the street s of NY,It has nothing to do with a new headset or sound system,my audio set up is as good as it gets

Just recently found your channel. I dig it. Keep it up. Perhaps do videos on the rebooted Tomb Raider Series?
My friend and I were looking for a new co-op story game after we completed Far Cry (5 and New Dawn), and decided to get the Division 2. I personally found it wayyyyy more entertaining with friends, and the missions are really entertaining with others.
I think you sold me on the game.
I love the divisions concept but I don’t really have any interest in the story characters that have as much personality as a piece of wood the only ones I care about are the hunters(not really characters so much as enemies) and Arron keener from the first one.
Same. Was disappointed with the childish characters and unrealistic enemy factions. (I went into it blind.)
I’m sad that we didn’t get to see Jack Ryan as president
I hate how people get butthurt over games even when there is a warning in the start of the game
I also forgot taming animals as well.
Great video! But am I getting this or Wildlands? :)
wanna know something cool? this game's price went parkour from 40 to 3 bucks.
I can't tell you how many times I've died because of rigid movements or glitches.
The truth about D2
The real truth about D2
The factual truth about D2
The legitimate actual truth about D2
And with “macro penised gaming crowd only” you sir just got yourself a subscriber.
I love this game but the missions take to dam long
Well it's like this game holds more realisticness to now days..
Best review of a game in the whole of gaming history... very funny and enjoyable yet full of facts and truth. You sir are a borderline gaming reviewer genius... thank you for making my day.
13:41 My entire experience with the crates. All I wanted was a nicer hat than the default black beanie I had. I never found a good enough replacement until I got my first Hunter Mask
Acid jokes were on point🤣
The best game review I've ever watched!!
If you hold the same button for skills and destroy them they will have a smaller cool down
redant89
LOL
This game is trash man don’t even try to act like that even matters lol
Hey a First Reformed reference. Thats rare.
yeah the game is beautiful and there's tons of things to do in it but the problem is the underlying RPG elements that are required for this game are broken their you grind grind grind in the division you could go out and get the gear pieces you need work on getting the rolls right on them and eventually you could just recalibrate them and built the exact build you want it it might take you a little grinding but you could get it done you can grind forever and not get the bills you want in the division 2 and again like I said even once you do you'll go on the dark zone and you can run around and dark phone all day and not find another player or another group
