Things to do after lvl 30. 1. Find and take down all 12 hunter to unlock their mask. And they drop a key. Once you hav all ivory keys you can open the box that's located in the white house. 2. Grind the invaded mission to find exotic weapons like the chatterbox SMG and the nemesis sniper. You will need fraction keys which can be found in the underground tunnels; inside sliver boxes on the walls. 3. Find all the hidden owls on roosevelt island nd open the secret room. And active them in order. 4. Find the snitch to unlock the gun runner shop. You dont need to take down the bounties to unlock gunrunner just look for the shopping cart icon. 5. take over lvl 3 control points to get blueprints for your guns. (Lvl 4 is 10x harder and you dont get anything extra, just stick to lvl 3). 6. Find the hidden quest givers around the map to get secret side missions. 7. Locate and shoot all orange boxes to get hidden camo's 8. Find all 6 hidden hotels. 9. After you complete all side mission on the map you will unlock another that gives you a ww2 military outfit. 10. Work on a good pve and pvp build. And prepare for the raids. 11. Grind for specialization points to max out all 3 special weapons. And the gun runner challenge to get the mini gun. I just started it and it's a fun challenge.
This was so helpful. I'm one of those people that spent hours on hours clearing everything off the map, and seeing it all reset overwhelmed me so much. This video really helped put it back in perspective, I'll jump back in and get started, thanks man.
But annoyingly you can't clear it properly. You can't own and hold all control points unless that's all your doing. I find it frustrating as I like having them as fast travel points but I get why it's like that, i'm just a completionist.

Yes exactly, and also after 30 start collecting pieces of gear head and there that you like so when when you reach max level of 500 gear score then you can start doing your builds and stuff like and try to sell what you don’t want instead of breaking them done most of the time because your gonnna need the mulla for other stuff
This was definitely more helpful than seeing a giant red map all of a sudden. I got so overwhelmed by the map that I got off the game for that day. Im excited to get back on with a better understanding.
Very helpful video. One more thing you could do while you are waiting for World Tier 5 is to level another character to level 30. Doesn’t hurt to have more inventory space and a separate character for the Dark Zone.

The events to upgrade the control points are not random. You'll see red lines going out from the control points to the required events to do to get it to upgrade.

0:40 correction. You must be level 30 and have completed the Capitol Stronghold. This is the last step of the main story you must complete to be able to select a Specialization. Level 30 is also a requirement, but you can get that long before completing the Stronghold.
cswann8 this makes sense as I haven’t finished the main campaign yet but reached level 30 yesterday (as I rinse and repeat missions to help friends/ransoms) guess I should complete the main story now!
pull up 6 technician gold armor piece, twice set, like wyvern +20% skill damage, haste, duration... deploy well the turret and the the drone, grab a m4 replica w in snyc perk, and u r almost impossible to fail missions. the turret and the drone will kill anything, have long enough duration. u dont need repair, u dont need armor, just the 6 tier technician pieces (not the gear set, just the low score brand set). get cover and land some hit in every 5 sec to keep up in sync perk. let the tools do their job👍
This is very very helpful. I am truly still a new player since I bought a year ago. The game is so fun to do. It feels at time complex and overwhelming trying to clear the map, but slowly understanding it with other agents who are willing to help and for folks like you help explaining. I just leveedl 30 and what you said about that feeling of despair of seeing everything red again was exactly true in my case. I didnt even know how to equip the specialized weapon until 24hrs later. I kept unblocking the settlement not getting anywhere. Thanks for the good job explaining it!
I was so happy after defeating the True Sons and killing the Lieutenant, i was recording the cutscenes and thought the people shooting (now known Black Tusks) were just anecdotes from before the Liberation. After that map turned red and EVERYTHING was gone, I just had to ragequit for the night because I was so upset from over a day and 22 hours of progress...
Your way of putting out info is a great help to me as a single player to head to another level . I was running around like a chicken with his head chopped off trying to find the next step in progressions. Thank you for a great video.

They need to get the balance right though, it needs to be super hard to give 8 players a challenge or everyone will be complaining its too easy to complete but not so hard that no one can complete it.

I honestly have been just fumbling around and getting to level 30 which I hit last night but still have a ton of stuff to do before starting the after 30 activities. Despite the fact that I don’t play this game, I love to hear about it. I enjoy gameplay and commentary about this game, I’m just not a fan of playing it since the enemies have so much HP. Personally I’d love to see more.
That’s definitely a style of game out there. If you want something like that you can go play a twitch shooter or an R6 game. I say Division enemies have too much health as a Destiny and Borderlands player though. I’m fine with 3-4 crit kills out of a high impact weapon, but the division just feels excessive. Still love to watch it tho
Believe it or not it's a lot easier to kill enemies in this than it was the first game. The first division had insanely spongy enemies. But dont let the spongy enemies keep you from playing. Rent it and try it out it's a phenomenal loot shooter.
Quick tip! I don't know if it's bugged or not but it actually drops significantly higher gear score only if you have stuff equipped to the highest. It's better if you do. It doesn't matter what you use anyways till you get to the highest gear score for now. Try it and see. I went from 290 to 350 in a few hours with doing this. Also do not do stuff with people way above your gear score. It can lock you out of going into the next world tier. Also try to grind the control points and faction chests for high level items. Use your vendors to buy blueprints. Last but not least, the exotics drop at the certain low gear score but when you go to the white house vendor he'll have the current world tier blueprint. Spend your money on that and other good gear at WT4 and blueprints. That's the best way to spend your coins. Doing projects also matter, and about that, be careful not to dimantle stuff with the devastating perk lol trust me on this. DO NOT DISMANTLE your exotics. The low level one is required to get the high level one. Also, you can't get back a dismantled gear.
Great video! one thing I need to correct you on, you don't have to complete the snitches bounty to unlock the gun runner, so if you fail it or can't be bothered to do it etc that's fine the gun runner will still appear
I do have one thing I'd add on to the leveling part, as you go from WT1 to WT4 (now WT5) have a general build in mind. Don't just scrap your old stuff for something and as a gear score higher than your old on. Maybe have one loadout with your perfect build with starts and perks. And as you increase your gear score make sure you won't complety ruin your build. Mark a few weapons and gear as your favorite as you go thru.
So it’s like destiny. Hit lvl 30, increase your power level, and hit all these activities to increase your power level even more. Pretty simple to understand for someone just jumping in to division.
Me and my buddies playing this game literally all quit playing when the Black Tusk invaded and the map turned red. We figured we had finished the game and the rest was just repeat. A couple weeks ago the Expansion went on sale ($10), so I bought it, convinced one friend to get it too, and now we're discovering we missed all this endgame stuff the last time around!
Div 1 didn't really hook me played until lvl 30 and pretty much never played again but this game.... This game is freaking amazing I haven't been able to put it down the past few days I almost took Monday off just to play all day lmaooo. Found a few high ends w sick rolls I'm kinda sad they're gnna be useless to me since I'm only world tier 1 atm
Keep it and later on when you get to wt4 you can get a similar weapon with a higher gear score and transfer those sick perks to the new one. You can do this at the recalibration station and you can only do one perk/talent
Quick tip on the control point difficulty... of you look at the control point it will have these little red lines that connect to those activities... and they will have a little number at the top those are what correspond to increasing the difficulty of the control points!
You really captured the feeling. Everything was awesome, map was looking good and then whaaa? Oh crap... that's a lot of do-overs. I like that Ubi doesn't explain much. It makes videos like yours more useful and they focus on just making the game awesome. Clearing same levels brings back memories of many deaths. Now that I'm more buff it's way more fun. Big fan of cluster mines.

I just reached level 30 and got smacked in the face with all of that red. Rather than get discouraged however, I just chuckled and said "Ah shit, here I go killin' again."
The Snitch location is tied to an unknown activity. The best way to know it’s The Snitch is if you get closer to the unknown activity and it disappears off the map. At that point, search the area around it to find him.
What to do after level 30 and reaching tier 4... Wait for them to release world tier 5, there is no point of optimizing your gear since it will all need to reset after tier 5 release... All you can do is projects and unlock blueprints.

Remember to do the missions associated with the strongholds before you do the stronghold. You can do the stronghold without doing the missions, but your world tier will not progress. This confused me last night.

Quick tip! I don't know if it's bugged or not but it actually drops significantly higher gear score only if you have stuff equipped to the highest. It's better if you do. It doesn't matter what you use anyways till you get to the highest gear score for now. Try it and see. I went from 290 to 350 in a few hours with doing this. Also do not do stuff with people way above your gear score. It can lock you out of going into the next world tier. Also try to grind the control points and faction chests for high level items. Use your vendors to buy blueprints. Last but not least, the exotics drop at the certain low gear score but when you go to the white house vendor he'll have the current world tier blueprint. Spend your money on that and other good gear at WT4 and blueprints. That's the best way to spend your coins. Doing projects also matter, and about that, be careful not to dimantle stuff with the devastating perk lol trust me on this. DO NOT DISMANTLE your exotics. The low level one is required to get the high level one. Also, you can't get back a dismantled gear.
Great video! one thing I need to correct you on, you don't have to complete the snitches bounty to unlock the gun runner, so if you fail it or can't be bothered to do it etc that's fine the gun runner will still appear

Just entered WT1, and you explained this really well.
I do have one thing I'd add on to the leveling part, as you go from WT1 to WT4 (now WT5) have a general build in mind. Don't just scrap your old stuff for something and as a gear score higher than your old on. Maybe have one loadout with your perfect build with starts and perks. And as you increase your gear score make sure you won't complety ruin your build. Mark a few weapons and gear as your favorite as you go thru.

So it’s like destiny. Hit lvl 30, increase your power level, and hit all these activities to increase your power level even more. Pretty simple to understand for someone just jumping in to division.

Me and my buddies playing this game literally all quit playing when the Black Tusk invaded and the map turned red. We figured we had finished the game and the rest was just repeat. A couple weeks ago the Expansion went on sale ($10), so I bought it, convinced one friend to get it too, and now we're discovering we missed all this endgame stuff the last time around!

Div 1 didn't really hook me played until lvl 30 and pretty much never played again but this game.... This game is freaking amazing I haven't been able to put it down the past few days I almost took Monday off just to play all day lmaooo. Found a few high ends w sick rolls I'm kinda sad they're gnna be useless to me since I'm only world tier 1 atm

Keep it and later on when you get to wt4 you can get a similar weapon with a higher gear score and transfer those sick perks to the new one. You can do this at the recalibration station and you can only do one perk/talent
Quick tip on the control point difficulty... of you look at the control point it will have these little red lines that connect to those activities... and they will have a little number at the top those are what correspond to increasing the difficulty of the control points!

You really captured the feeling. Everything was awesome, map was looking good and then whaaa? Oh crap... that's a lot of do-overs. I like that Ubi doesn't explain much. It makes videos like yours more useful and they focus on just making the game awesome. Clearing same levels brings back memories of many deaths. Now that I'm more buff it's way more fun. Big fan of cluster mines.

Sucks that at World tier 4 you can no longer play solo. You must match make to get missions. What an absolute disappointment. 😢

The Snitch location is tied to an unknown activity. The best way to know it’s The Snitch is if you get closer to the unknown activity and it disappears off the map. At that point, search the area around it to find him.
What to do after level 30 and reaching tier 4... Wait for them to release world tier 5, there is no point of optimizing your gear since it will all need to reset after tier 5 release... All you can do is projects and unlock blueprints.

So gear score is basically the same as item level in WoW, or light in Destiny 2👌

So I just started this game a few weeks ago, and about to hit 30 in a day or two. Then all this. AMAZING. So glad I moved from Destiny, which was lacking severely in all shapes and forms. I'm having a blast in Div 2.

Remember to do the missions associated with the strongholds before you do the stronghold. You can do the stronghold without doing the missions, but your world tier will not progress. This confused me last night.
