The speech with Miles outside the lift wasn't scripted, it was all Denzel.
"You don't know what death is. You have no idea what death is!"
Is that why it was shit cos it wasn't scripted
@@DanGer-dw1qx It was amazing, wtf.
@@marcochavezjr9180 he is trolling, and he will deny it if we call him out on it. Dont engage.
@@marcochavezjr9180 That was a "I need attention! Nobody gives me attention!" remark.
“Tamales…….Hmm..not tamales?” LOL
The innocence of Mrs. Movies thinking it was Tamales and not drugs being cooked up LOL
Denzel’s lines be sticking with you more than the action scenes
why me ??? why not you
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT DEATH IS!"
I get chills whenever I see Denzel interact with younger actors. Would've loved to see him and Chadwick in a movie together.
"MY SON IS GOING TO BURY ME!" John Q.
Then when is son asked him if he hated him in "Fences." That was great!
"No, no tamales.." lmao 🐐🐐
Denzel is always immensely watchable and the hurricane-set finale is packed with suspense.
Orson Bean played "Sam" the old man trying to reclaim his family painting. He died after being struck by a car while walking across a crosswalk in L.A. He regularly appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
I always associated him with the Rankin-Bass cartoon version of The Hobbit where he voiced Bilbo Baggins.
Yes, Mrs Movies. Aerosolized flour is THAT flammable. McCall used the bakery to bake a bad guy.
I just saw The Equalizer 3 in IMAX a solid 8 out of 10. You're going to love it. But anyway, great reaction to the sequel! 👍🏿
Love the speech Denzel gave gives Miles after he takes him out of the gang is just powerful.
&
The whole thing with McCall taken out. The guy's during the hurricane, you have to remember. He was there commanding officer that's his old unit just showing the teacher doesn't teach you everything. His old squad got ripped apart by their commanding officer.
When I went to see this on opening day, after he gave the "You don't know what death is. You have no idea what death is!" speech to Miles the theater audience broke out in applause.
Robert not only notices they didn’t push the button, he also spots Dave’s phone screen is off when he claims to have to go.
Denzel didn’t do sequels until he did this movie & the fact he has now done two sequels to the original shows that something obviously gripped him about the character. It’s just a shame that no matter how successful the third is that there apparently won’t be a forth. As a fan of the original series I never thought anyone could play Robert McCall other than Edward Woodward, but Denzel & the writers took it in a different direction & someone of Denzel’s calibre is always going to nail it. Everything just clicks, it reminds me of when I first saw Timothy Dalton as James Bond. Timothy at the time didn’t get the credit he deserved, but he portrayed the character the closest to the books & will always be my favourite. His final film was the darkest and most violent of the franchise & to this day still has the highest age rating. It has also never been shown uncut on terrestrial TV.
When Susan tells Robert to go back she means go back home and make peace with the past. I can't imagine she would ever suggest that he go back to work.
@andyray9, Susan. Vivian's his late wife.
@@mitchellmelkin4078 oops, lol, I know better. I'm pulling the age card. Thanks
I was on a spray drier course (worked making infant formula) and we were told that ANY dust in the right oxygen/dust ratio is explosive, the only difference is how energetic the reaction is.
Looking forward to seeing your reaction to The Equalizer 3.
After shooting his passenger, he’s definitely deactivated from Lyft. 😂
😂😂😂
The moment Dave touched that mirror, he knew what it was. Nice little detail of him drawing on it to see.
EQ2.
Another kick-a** sequel.
It just never ceases to amaze in having one of the great actors of all time in a well-honed action thriller.
I liked how this one was a little more closer, more personal for McCall.
Betrayal has a way of bringing out the worse in people.
But you don't just think that with McCall, you'll get away with it.
Ever better action sequences.
The car fight and the battle in the storm were awesome.
This outgrossed the first installment and became Denzel's highest grossing film ever.
I saw a early screening of EQ3.
It is phenomenal.
You will not be disappointed.
Can't wait to see the third one
Agree with everything except for it being his highest grossing film. I'm pretty sure that was "The Magnificent Seven".
@@brandyperry-giotis9962 sorry to tell you.
Mag 7 made over $160 mil.
That's not bigger than either equalizer.
@hephner78 yea. Already knew that.
Isn't American Gangster his highest grossing movie? Worldwide anyway.
You guys didnt mention it, but it was especially impressive to see his dress uniform, verifying his background and how incredibly accomplished he was!!!
The part where he rescues his neighbor from the gang always makes me a bit misty eyed
27:55 The badge belonged to Officer Masters(?) played by David Harbour from the first movie. You can see Denzel has it clipped to his belt when they walk in to meet Andre. Andre is the guy watching over all the money in the slaughter house. Later in the scene Denzel holds it up to Harbour's face giving him a pep talk about disrespecting the badge.
I guess he kept it for a rainy day. Ha.
The third guys will be the finale of the franchise, and it will also reunite Dakota Fanning and Denzel together. Last time they worked together was man on fire. The director of the films have stated that he is thinking about doing prequels and having denzels real life. Son, play a younger robert McCall.
So if someone is shot in the back of the head, the bullet will likely cross hemispheres slightly diagonally from the entry wound to the exit wound. If the exit wound in the face is on the right side of the centerline then it was shot by a gun in someone’s left hand.
The Boston PD badge is the one he took from Frank, David Harbour’s character in the last movie.
"We got cameras all over our house."
"Yeah, I just like watching you." *Eyes her up and down* 😂😂❤
i think Robert ask Susan the last time they saw each other to find the painting or the sister to see if she was still alive and she did that's the document he gave her
That one line Denzel Washington when he says I'm going to kill each and every one of and the only disappointment in it for me is i only get to do it once man what a ice cold but awesome line
Great movie and reaction guy's! BTW, the scene where the guy claims it's his daughter's birthday was shot in East Boston, on Orleans St. Anyway right on that corner is Chelsea St. home of the best pizza in the world - Santarpio's! So if you ever come to Boston be sure to stop in, as it's right outside Logan Airport...
That denzel speech. Man. It felt like he was talking to me and Thank God I'm a changed man.
Edward Woodward.
Gentleman who was in the original tv series.
I saw a behind the scenes making of for this movie. One of the things they were saying is they didn't want it to be another shoot em up kind of movie, they wanted McCall to be a brute force look you in the eye as he takes you out kind of guy.
I Like at the beginning they were like, "What weapon is he gonna use, Nailgun? Drill?" NOPE.....Bag of FLour, Mirror, and a few Fans...
Yay! I was literally just thinking "I wonder if they've done the equalizer 2 yet" and boom! I love this movie. it's one of my favorite denzel movies, and that's a high bar.
The eye gouge triggered GOT flashbacks for Pedro Pascal.
Those are some damn expensive tamales 😂😂
Being a role model for someone who is not completely lost is so rewarding and in the long run beneficial for the community he lives in. That psrt reminded me of the Gran Torino movie
just watched this a few days ago after watching your first Equalizer react, love both you and the misses reactions, Roll on number 3 :)
Better than the first one in my opinion, but both of them are great.
That ending left me in tears . . .
The part where Denzel is telling the kid about gangs after taking out of that room...is literally important af and very emotional
Since you guys do TV shows, do you think you can do the original equalizer TV show back in the 80s. Despite how Denzel‘s version is popular, the original show was very iconic back in the day and Edward Woodward made the The name equalizer popular first. I believe people need to give credit where credit is due. Thank you
Nothing to do with not being used to having other people in his space he was teaching him to respect other people's homes and property and you can't just start doing whatever you want in someone else's home
I liked this one better than the first one! Denzel is amazing in this! The badge belonged to the corrupt cop that he turned in from the first movie.
It's not a deep dish is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Susan didn't tell him to go back to work. She said "Go home. Make peace with it."
Loved the mural!
The movies are nice but the TV rocked. It was all heart and Edward Woodward (and his Jaguar) got even for all those who needed his help. As much as ou wonder about Denzel's background in the TV show it is a slow reveal about Woodward's background and we find out he was ex CIA (or there about) but more keeps creeping out over time. Of course the one crazy thing about the show was whomever responded to add the Equalizer and his Jaguar always found parking which for NYC (where the TV show was set) was amazing.
Denzel has been in some gory @$$ movies. Glory, The Bone Collector, Man on Fire, Book of Eli and EQ1,2,3.
With the flour. She must have never heard of "dust combustion"
See a young Denzel Washington in "A Soldier's Story".
I think he got the badge from the corrupt cop in the last movie.
Yep. He kept it after he held it up to dude "this badge means something". Now it means a way to get around other cops.
I'm going to see Equalizer 3 Saturday. Glad you are reacting to tge series.
I just saw Equalizer 3. I love Denzel!!!
Watch the UK original from the late 1980's staring Edward Woodward.
I personally believe this to be a spin-off from the 1967-1972 TV Show "Callan" about a reluctant British Secret Service Assassin.... Also starring Edward Woodward...
This guy Miles actually called working with Denzel into existence. They met, and Denzel himself was like "see you at work." Next, they worked together in this movie.
I would say this one is actually slightly better than the first. Because the first one, he, it still dipped in mystery. On somewhat what unit or Robert was with? For the next one, you can clearly see what unit in the military. Robert was he was a marine. You get done more importantly, you get to see more of his back story. A little bit, there was more engaging stories. In plus this one was really personal that pretty much leave.
"Man ain't spelt G-U-N!"
yup.
also Dave there, black ops trained, all got up for covert to go in to Robert's house.. and has his phone still on loud. Real stealthy, David. Absolute pro. xD
Maybe Robert kept the police badge from the corrupt guy in the first movie...
what do you mean how did they know he was looking into it, he kept going to them with ideas and investigations multiple times.. he told them he was looking into it XD
Where did he get a Boston PD Badge? is the question on the table. The Answer is, From the crooked cop from Equalizer I .
Usually people will seek revenge, but there is a level of fear that you can instill where people no matter how angry will talk themselves out of. Or so a friend told me…
Great reaction! Equalizer 3 is fuckin awsome. Heart and waaaaaay more viciousness.
I'm from Boston born n raised and it's always cool to see the city you live in on the big screen.
“Tamales”😂
I love this movie, but I hate that they killed off Susan - not just because I liked the character, but because she was a useful story device to let] audience learn more about Robert otherwise secretive personal side.
Bill Pullman's character did not die in it
Ive never heard of this movie until a bunch of reactors I subscribe all uploaded this in the last week 😂
In a way, this makes me think of Dennis Farina's line when he decides to disobey orders to stand down and goes after mob boss Anthony Denison in the season one finale of "Crime Story": "I'm a lousy cop, but I'm a pretty good dispenser of justice. Now, we're going to go dispense some justice."
I love tamales but I'm surprised you've never manufactured crack 🤷♂️ Crack isn't as good as tamales but it's a close second. 🤣 Sorry, jk, but I couldn't help myself. Love the channel, you guys are awesome!
I rewatched this the other day just to prepare
The end was so good.
Bill Pullman is also in a movie called THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW and also a David Lynch movie called Lost Highway.
That gang was making tamales by the kilo
How did you guys not immediately notice Pedro Pascal?! Always losing his eyes. Him and Denzel together are everything!
Both films were great. I do prefer the first one just alittle bit more then this one. My favorite line in this one was when Denzel is talking to the group that killed his friend. "The mistake you made was you killed my friend. So, I'm gonna kill each and every one of you, and the only disappointment in it for me is that I only get to do it once." Only Denzel can deliver that in a badass way!!!
He got the badge from the first movie
He's ex-CIA , it's taken from The Equilizer TV Series in which Edward Woodward played Robert McCall .
Another great movie. Love both 1&2. Keep up the awesome work 👏 💪 👍. Hello from Pa USA.
My favorite part is him teaching civic pride.
Even as a baddy Pascal is still daddy. That battle sequence must have been a pain to film, simulating a hurricane while also making sure all the recording equipment is unaffected.
18:00 That's because that's not a performance. That's genuinely what he believes. He's expressed that sentiment in interviews a number of times.
But then he gives the kid a book by Ta Nehihi Coates, which is incredibly contradictory to the message, but but I have to assume that book was not Denzel's idea.
If I was Miles and saw the pizza delivery guy, bells would have been ringing. Right away, I would have known something was up. Pizza in Boston is HORRENDOUS. No one would get that delivered.
Denzel's first sequel....ever
Favourite scene has gotta be the breaking of the fingers. I can’t imagine anyone more deserving of such pain… no wait the speech at the beginning “there are two types of pain” no… the “you don’t know what death is” I can’t pick.
Is Mrs Movies a wrestling fan (the shirt) and will she be watching Payback?
I liked the first one. Because it was the unveiling. I wasn't ready for the badassery
Fuel-air explosion. Small particles suspended in the air.
John Wick and the first Equalizer came out around the same time and they were both great, Equalizer 2 was equally as great, John Wick 2 and 3 however almost lost me, for some reason I did not enjoy them as much as I did the first movie, the last John Wick movie however was really good.
Although I like the 2nd, and 3rd Wick movies I fell like they lost the grittiness, and grounded action the 1st movie had. The 3rd movie was good but very exhausting with how much action was added. I haven't seen the 4th movie yet. I just hope it isn't as exhausting as the 3rd film. They also became less realistic as well. With that said the action was top notch though. The Equalizer movies for me has a good balance of action and story. Robert is also a very good character that is not only lethal but empathetic towards others.
TBH, tamales are just as addictive as what they were making.
"I'm gonna kill each and every one of you, and the only disappointment in it for me is that I only get to do it once." Imagine having the balls to say something like that while facing a whole group of trained killers. It's the best example of "I taught you guys everything you know, but I didn't teach you everything I know." 😂😂
Flour Goes boom very well..dried coffee Creamer is flammable also
yeah, explosive flour is a thing. well, its not a volatile explosion like gunpowder. its the small particles/dust in the air that catch fire and set fire to the one next to it, etc. in a chain reaction. it just has to be an extremely fine powder and as long as it is flammable it will effectively explode. i remember doing a thing in science at school with custard powder. blow the particles across an open flame to make a flame thrower type effect.
With the price of food, tamales might have a higher profit margin.
Aerosolized flour is highly flammable. When it’s in the air it’s like gasoline.
Training Day is really good, I enjoy watching your reactions
30:33 comment 30:45 30:47 perhaps sugar has dust but more goes-up and falls like sand--granular-grains as opposed to flour as muchly powder.-Ernie Moore Jr.
I saw "3" on Friday night. You want to see it!
So in a match-up between John Wick and Robert Maccall, who would be left standing?
I just watched The Equalizer Chapter 3.
Denzel is a great actor, this would probably fall under the category of a "war movie" but I would love to see you react to "Courage under Fire" He gives another amazing performance in that and I don't see many reactors reacting to it.
Equalizer 3 was great. Kind of a mix of the first film and the second. :)
I Going To See The 3rd Part In The Theaters Soon, May This Weekend! As A Early Birthday Present, My Birthday Is September 5th!😢😵💫🫣💥🥰🎛🖥💞
Can't wait until you guys see EQ3!
I just watched this again because I know you two now. Buy more popcorn and...
No Chevy Chase "Seems Like Old Times" GOT IT!
That kid in this is SO over the top *BLACK* "ya'll no wut I be like say'n G?"
Lets. Get. rrrrready to eeeeequaliiiiize!
16 seconds ⌚
Flour is just as bad as an actual powderkeg. My next door neighbor had one of his silos (corn) catch on fire last year. I think his fan went out over night & it just got too hot and went up. Flour, especially ground like that & blown in the air like an aerosol is like gas fumes. It'll ignite & be explosive.
