I felt that when you said many people want a prison mate instead of a soul mate. It's so true.
I even see it in friendships, where some people always calling, and they don't know how to be alone, and then they get mad when they don't understand you need your space and they can't fathom why you want to be alone.
Too many people deal with you when they want to deal with you or use you for their own self purposes which is what led me to the space of wanting to be alone. Being alone is freedom 👊🏾 and its amazing, and you are so right that you should never let anyone make you feel you are weird for wanting to be alone.

One thing I would say that changed my world view as a teenager was reading the books, The Giver, 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 541. These books snapped me out of society. These books were banned from schools and we know why. Some of us woke up while reading these books, but most people didn’t. Reading those books set me on the right path of not following societal norms. That was the moment I made the decision that I’m not going to be a parent and discard the institution of marriage because I don’t want to feed the machine that is capitalism. I choose to be single and walk in my purpose. I do feel bad for people who never experienced this type of peace. We’ve been sold a lie and many people fall into these traps. Anyways, I’m happy that I found your channel. It’s nice to see people who are on the same page as me.
