It's a start, Ryan
im proud of you!!!!
Yayyy (same lmaooo)
(I’ve read 8 now :)
Wow Ryan 👏🏻😂
I couldn’t be more proud of you Ryan ❤
She is the only booktuber that motivates me to read books everyday.
Same I started watching her channel and my time reading skyrocketed
That’s amazing 😻 I’m so happy for you. As long as you’re reading.
fr!!
Same she’s my day to day motivation
Same
It's quite fascinating to see Haley's reading taste evolve so much...during the begining of her reading journey she was only reading romance..and, although, romance is still a huge part of her channel, she is exploring and recommending so many different genres. Love how books can change you as a person and impact your choices.. loved the video❤
Yes I agree 100%
Love this
Yes!!
I feel like books make people more interesting. 😅❤
I’m still scared to touch literally fiction. 😅
haley, i found your channel this year after a horrible car accident. i spent the last 6 months of the year reading with you & finding a joy for life again. thank you isn’t enough, but it’s a start, so thank you so much.
oh this touched my heart, thank you for sharing 💕
Can I recommend a 200/300 page books by James Patterson young adult and the main character Ali cross and his dad Alex crooks it’s a mystery type book
Haley I used to be the biggest book worm but lost it after ‘adult life’ happened.
Thanks for sparking my love for books again! I read Better than the Movies (which is legit my fav), the Do Over, the Inheritance Games, and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder because of you. And it opened a whole bunch of genres I never really got into before.
Love your vids and thanks for inspiring us.
Oh my god these are my favs ❤️❤️
omg i love the inheritance games and the good girls guide to murder!! you have good taste🩷
it’s kinda crazy how nobody’s talking about Antozent, they are selling 150 self help books for the price of one
Can we talk about how amazing Women magic truths on Borlest is? It's like a roadmap to confidence . Highly recommend !!! :D
It is a fact that Haley can romanticize reading for all of us ❤❤ Her videos are my comfort watches 💕
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.273okay
Haley I just subscribed today I love this video happy new year Eve
If she reads as fast as she talks….. ok I get it!
No can do…..
FR🫶🏼
You are the reason I decided to dabble into Stephen King and 11/22/63 is 100% the best book I read this year. I think about it every single day. Absolutely life-changing.
Same
Every time I see you’ve uploaded I instantly feel comfort and girl after such a stressful year you’re such a warm light and consistent fav 💗
Hey Haley! Ever heard about Agatha Cristie? I think you'll really like her books. "And then there were none" would be a great start. Ten people mysteriously are invited on an island. They all have a dark secret of their own and as they stay their, they start dying one by one. The book ends with a huge plot twist and its honestly and easily one of the best books I've read. ❤
I really like Agath Cristie books😩❤
So is it kind of like Glass Onion A Knives Out Mystery (the movie) or is the concept just similar?
shes already read it i
@@thomas4445_ when? Can I get the video's name please?
@@Emi_B4 I don't think I've watched that movie yet
I’ve recently gotten back into reading this year. I used to be a huge reader as a kid and now that I’m back into reading, I started watching your videos and I have loved your recommendations!
Literal comfort videos Idk what it is that makes haleys book videos so appealing but there’s no other booktuber who can do the same. Keep it up haley
haley can you pleaseee update us on your writing journey?!! I dream of the day you’ll release a book of your own.
also just got recommended your spring pink lip tutorial from 11 years ago and I’m dead😭
Haley has such a way of speaking it captivates me all the time! I always look forward to watching her videos. I love love love these recommendations and the variety of genres provided ❤
Hayley is one of the best booktubers and always makes me want to read so much more.
I'm 14, and im in love with romance novels, and Haley is my go-to for suggestions and relatable vids. Plus, I've read tomorrow tomorrow and tomorrow, and I loved it too
OMG I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR BOOK SHELF!!!
I'm so thankful you became a book girlie because you made me become one too. I absolutely DEVOURED the red rising trilogy this year and im so excited to continue the series.
Just borrowed 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow' from my library. Excited to read it!
My favorite books this year were:
Being Peace by Thich Nhat Hanh
and
Foster by Claire Keegan
LOVE tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow!!!
Amazing 😻 Can’t wait to hear what you think!
that's on my 2024 tbr!!
Truly one of the best booktubers. Love you Haley!
i am not a huge reader, but i still like to read! i was able to read 4 books last year and i am proud of that! i want to read a little more this time around. hopefully surpass my goal that i have set for this year lol your recommendations are so good! i am excited to read some this year
Your content literally motivated me so much that now I read every day! About a month I picked up this book call Mosquitoland and omg it was one of the best books I’ve ever read, 10/10 would definitely recommend. I would have never even thought about going to my local library and checking out that book if not for your channel!! Thank you, Haley!!!
This is literally the most anticipated video of the whole year and the yearly reading wrap up
Thank you so much Haley for getting me back into reading again! My favourite books of the year have probably been:
-Caraval (Stephanie Garber)
-All This Time (Rachael Lippincott)
-The Lucky List (Rachael Lippincott)
-You Won't Believe Me (Cyn Balog)
have you read the once upon a broken heart trilogy?
Haley, I can’t believe it but yesterday I went to the bookstore after MONTHS of being in a reading slump and that’s because you inspired me to read more and dive into books! For the first time, I read books that I didn’t really like ( genre-wise ) and I’m super hooked into it! ( I’m reading Better Than the Movies and it’s getting good! )
Haley, I think this is one of my favorite of your book videos that you've ever posted! Now I can see why you enjoy watching these year end videos so much!
I feel more inspired and prepared going into 2024! Which I totally agree with you regarding the previous year's favorites as being the favorites in the following year for those who haven't read them yet lol.
Spock is absolutely PRECIOUS and ADORABLE as well. Tell him I love him!!! 😍
Finally someone mentions The Stolen Heir 😭🙏 It was my favorite “new” book of the year! (I rere-read the folk of the air series so that takes the cake obvs), but aaaaaaah the ending! I can’t believe we still have to wait several more months yet for the next one 😭 Can’t wait!
Y'all I have read 53 books this year and among all of these the only book I gave it five stars was Carrie soto is back by Taylor Jenkins Reid and if that is not enough for you to read it then I don't know what else can convince you 😅
the character of carry Soto was surprisingly likable even though we weren't supposed to like her I just love her so much. her relationship with her dad and just how the book is written everything was immaculate and I recommend listening to the audio book it's going to make the experience better ❤❤
This was one of my top books this year too!! I am obsessed and more people should read it 🥰
This is actually the realest thing ever. I read about 50 book and only gave 3 of them 5⭐️ and one of the was Carrie Soto. It’s probably one of the best books I’ve ever read honestly.
@@stephaniecrossman2864 I knoow it is so good I heard that it was the last book in this (Malibu rising, daisy Jones.., Evelyn Hugo) series?? Idk what to call it made by TJR I'm so sad 😭
Also I would like to know what were the other two books that you gave 5 stars?
I also read it in 2023 and what a rollercoaster it was! Only TJR could convince me to read about tennnis (or any sports for that matter- i don't watch sports on tv) not my fav tjr book but still a 5 🌟 nonetheless
Totally agree on Billy Summers, On Writing, 11/22/63 and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow... Really great books!
Haley’s book vlog = total relaxation ❤
I found ur channel when I was searching for thriller/horror book recommendations. This is the video that I watched first and tbh I haven't heard of any of these books that much 😅 But I actually liked it from your review, then I started watching alot of your videos and now I'm in LOVE with your channel ❤ The first book that Im reading this year is 'If I had your face'. I already read till page 70 something :)
On writing was actually AMAZING with Stephan narrating the audiobook
I love how much your book taste has changed. Becoming more than just a romance book girlie. That’s awesome!
Literally any video you make is so worth watching! Your editing is top notch and such high quality!!!! AHHHHHH i love your vids, you got me back into reading ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Haley, I just got done reading Dust (the first book) and Shadow (the second) by Kara Swanson, and oh my goodness!! If you’ve never read them, you absolutely have to!! Some of the best days of my life were spent reading those books
I went from reading 20 books in 2022 to 127 this year 🤭 partly because of you! I read a lot of good books that I LOVED and some… not so much. My goal in 2024 is to try to go lower because now I know more of what genres I like and don’t like and what authors I like! I loved getting to explore this year and often look to your videos for recommendations! Thank you!
11/22/63 is going to be my first read of 2024! I’m on a 3 book run of strictly King. Started with IT and followed with Gerald’s Game and Pet Semetary. Hoping to fit Misery and possibly Billy Summers before the end of the year!
I haven’t read since I was in middle school and after watching Haley I’ve already read 2 books!! I am on my third book now and I feel so proud of myself ❤❤
Hey Haley! I love your videos! You inspired me to read and I watch you when I am in a reading slump! Love you girly! ❤❤❤
I love your recommendations!!! Thank you for not giving too much away because I love going into books as blind as possible!! ❤
It's so nice to see a fellow reader who is a romance reader that gets intimidated by big books or different genres. I realised while scrolling booktok recently that I'm not classed as a real reader because I'm only really into romance. Haley's journey of trying new genres is inspiring me to stem out and try a few of these that she's recommended!
I will NEVER stop reccomending 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmoms. It's a simple but effective romance about a girl who goes blind for 100 days and she meets a boy with no legs. ☀️ There is also a sequel that takes place during Christmas. The audiobooks are also Narrated by the author and it is super good! ☀️
Litterally was just about to comment that!! Literally my favorite book
@@LucyGrace770 ikr!
This year she got me (inspired me) to read and I was able to get to 23 so far❤
Haley! Im reading Divine Rivals right now and I just know you would LOVE this book. It’s so wholesome and adorable 😭
omg the sequel is out in four days and i loved this book too! Its so sweet and just magical and mythical and it feels so whimsy, also the writing is gorgeous
she has read it! x
if you loved that book read Dreams Lie Beneath by her too!! so good
She’s already read it lol
she already read it!
Haley I love your vids soo much and you have been a huge inspiration to me! Thanks so much for reigniting my passion for reading and giving great suggestions on what to read!
What an incredible book community. I’m new to booktube, and I was curious what books everyone is reading. I just got recommended the Red Rising series and after reading the description I went to buy it asap 😂. It’s definitely my taste. I’m excited to check out a few others.
I’m so happy you love the Red Rising series!! If you have the urge for it, I highly recommend the next three in the series for 2024!
i read looking for alaska this year and it is now my all time favorite book!
I really enjoyed Looking for Alaska. I need to go back and reread it.
11/22/63 is one of my favorite books of all time. So good!
I'd recommend reading "Nuclear Habits" by Ben Furey! I know... weird name! But really thought provoking :)
Nuclear or “Atomic”? I strongly recommend “Atomic Habits”
@@alejandratresaco7487 "Atomic" is the popular one. "Nuclear Habits" is not popular but a great read!
It’s $150+…
@@asma7018 No idea about that. I bought it from the author's website it was only $12.
omg haley your end of the year vids are literally my favv its like a book version of spotify wrapped loll
Omg i love you Hailey, these videos always make me smile ❤
I just got the Storied Life of A.J. Fikry book and I’m already half way through it!! You inspire me to read again. I don’t know why I stopped reading maybe I just read not so good books. This book I 100% recommend.
Great list! So glad you discovered Gabrielle Zevin this year! The Storied Life of AJ Fikry has long been one of my favorite books, and I just finished Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow this month and loved that, too. I want to read more Taylor Jenkins Reid - I've only read Daisy Jones and the Six (this year). And I want to try Lisa Jewell - I haven't read any of hers yet, but I know lots of people like them. I haven't read Emily Henry yet, either. I don't read much fantasy, but my son has enjoyed some of Maas' novels. I love any book that deals with time travel! Your first Stephen King book ever?? Wow! I read Billy Summers this year, too - it was excellent. He's written other non-horror novels. 11/22/63 and Hearts in Atlantis are both outstanding (as is On Writing). ha ha! I was commenting as I watched - So glad you also read 11/22/63 this year! And since you enjoy fantasy, you might enjoy what many consider his best book ever - The Stand. This was my first visit to your channel - nice to "meet" you!
my 5 stars of the year were 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow' and 'Things we do in the dark'! loved your video as always :)
I absolutely love you and your videos Haley❤ thank you for making me smile
Yes! Red rising is fantastic. I'm so glad when it gets the call out it deserves.
I started Red Rising in August and am now on Dark Age. If it weren't for waiting for the books to be ready at the library, I'd have Lightbringer finished. Such an amazing series and Universe! Can't wait for a film adaptation. It honestly has more going for it than Hunger Games.
this comment section is so wholesome. keep what you’re doing Hayley. I remember watching one of your videos for the first time a year ago your top books of 2022
God loves you so! John 3:16✝️
Your bed and shelves look sooo cozy and you're very pretty! :)
Haley!!! You HAVE to read “the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo”!!! I can’t believe you haven’t read it yet!!!!! 😭
I literally could die for that book!! 💘
SEVEN YEAR SLIP IS LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAV BOOKS THIS YEAR , THANKS FOR SHOWING ME 💓💓💓💓💓💓
My favorite book this year is The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. 1000% recommend
You made me love reading!! I liked reading but it wasn’t my favorite. Once I found your channel I now need to get another book shelf and I all ready have multiple. Love you!!
My mom is in college for writing and is currently reading the Stephen King On Writing book and she really likes it
Haley’s book vlog = total relaxation
Merry Christmas to everyone!!! 😊
Merry Christmas to you, too 🎄 May the lord bless you and your family and friends❤
Nicholas Sparks books are really great. Especially a walk to remember and then reading the notebook. And then watching the movie, it's just amazing
My absolute favorite book this year was just listen by Sarah Dressen I thought going into it I would not like it, and the first half of the book as miserable the first time I read it. But after Owen really started to show in the book it became the best book in the WORLD.
Immediately subscribed when you shouted out Viola Davis' memoir! I stress to everyone who will hear me, that Viola has the best memoir and audiobook, ever!!!! She is such a bad ass human being.
Personally the percy jackson series that I read this year has been my fav series. Would love for you to give the books a try
I LOVED Carrie Soto is back! It totally fulfilled any former athlete in need of some closure and healing.
this makes my toes curl and then I run around screaming HALEY POSTED 🥰
🤨
You should totally read some of Stephen Kings short stories, specifically “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption” and “The Body” (which is the book that inspired the movie Stand By Me lol). They are both really good and are not in the horror genre!!!
I never read...BUT! after watching Your videos, and seeing how exciting it can actually be, I forced myself to listen to audio book and I loved it!!! so thank you!!! ^u^
Awesome job haliey thumb up and merry. Christmas to you and Ryan
I m. Good haliey
You spelled haley wrong😅
including “if he had been with me” makes me so happy !! :)
makes me cry everytime
You have explained my feeling and thoughts of “Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” PERFECTLY!!!
seeing your fave set having diff kinds of genre made me subscribe....it's diverse and they way you deliver compels interest...that I've added it all up in my TBR...❤
My favourites were
The Last Word by Taylor Adams - sooo intense i had to take breaks
Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney - this one had me thinking about it for LONG after. I also read it in one sitting, it was so great.
Hi Haley! The last 2 weeks have been extremely difficult, but your video lifted my spirits ~ I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and New Year!
I highly recommend Trevor Noah’s audiobook, Born a Crime. His story is incredible and his narration is perfect.
I will feel honored every time for being one of the few men on this channel, and i will keep enjoying the content for time to come!
Haley I appreciate you highly for the little video references that you included for the respective books ❤
My Christmas present this year stretches on 12 months. My mom's going to buy me 12 books on my TBR, and each month I'll get a new one. The fun part is that I don't know which one I'll be receiving! I get so disorganized while reading books that I want to read them all simultaneously... 😳🤚BUT, this is gonna give me a much needed structure 😂
Thanks for the inspo Hailey ❤
Haley’s videos make my day better!❤
So excited for this video. Love you Haley!
Haley, I have a question, why aren't you changing your channel name to "Haley Trahan"
Im addicted to her vids😫❤️

Yesssssssss!!! It's THE videooo ❤❤❤ Can't wait for your "all books I've read this year" video :))) I rewatch ur videos from the previous years. I never get tired of these book videosss 😄💗
When reading i would definitely recommend listening to Peder b Helland’s music its so good and If you listen to only one of his songs on repeat when reading a book listening to the same song again can bring you back to the book my favorites are flying, feelings, the campire and today
So happy I found you this year. Of all the booktubers I love your recommendations the best. So thank you for getting me back into reading!!!
1st time running across your channel and I subscribed because of the Red Rising. Finishing up book #6 rn and it's one of the few series that I've read more than once. 10\10 🤘
When you said the book came alive, I was like I just read a book like that and then you pulled up Carrie Soto is back and I almost screamed cause it was exactly what I was thinking about 🥰
I loved Finding Me. Fantastic! I have read many Stephen King books. 11/22/63 is my absolute favorite. I never read books twice. But, I did on this one. ❤️
I loved the video! I personally don’t take recommendations, I’m more of a “pick from the shelf and surprise yourself” type of person! But again, great video! I will be watching more! You know, I can’t explain why I read-- the itch to do so started when I turned 20, and I haven’t been able to stop ever since! I’m 28 currently! And reading and watching a movie are COMPLETELY different experiences for me, because watching a movie, I have to be in the mood for a certain genre; as for reading, it’s 100% random, and what I feel for doesn’t matter. But it also depends on what I’m eating, because sometimes what I eat- CAN, not always, but CAN dictate what I read. Like if I’m eating Chinese takeout, I’ll read either hitch hikers guide to the galaxy or the wizard of oz books. But, if I’m eating Taco Bell, I’ll most likely be reading the outsiders or a Sam Harris book. That also applies where I’m at, because if I’m making a trip to Canada, I’ll read the Harry Potter books! :D fun stuff!
Hi Haley, you’ve inspired me so much to keep up reading and enjoy it so with all my respect thank you
