I love that you are actually going through and playing vanguard, everyone i see absolutely despises vanguard and im guessing 90% of them have never played it. i have never played vanguard and i see it as It could be fun and I wouldn't know if it is good or bad because i haven't given it a shot yet. Im happy to see a different viewpoint on things and not a shitstream of hate. love the video
I played it for the first time, I’m never listening to RUclipsrs again. I actually had a concerning amount of fun playing VanGuard. The problem is with its content. It feels more like you’re playing Cold War custom maps. The characters in this game actually have personality and are not campaign characters.
I've been playing a lot of vanguard zombies recently. I like it. Although it's faults are clear. It seems regressive in a way. And also whatever the related word for going sidewards is. It feels like a lot of the mode was rushed. If the older zombies are Marvel then vanguard is the dceu if that makes sense. Great video by the way. I've watched all your zombies comparisons. I hope for similar videos in future. On whichever topic you choose of course. Your narration and presentation is very enjoyable and engaging for someone like me with a low attention span. I've had to go back to writing this 4 times for example because I get distracted easily haha.
Thanks for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed. Vanguard certainly has some good qualities, but I think its biggest fault was being too ambitious. Ironically, if they kept things simple instead of trying to outdo Cold War, I think it would have been received much better
@@theGODZILLA150 yeah I agree with the sentiment regarding Cold War. Although that had the fortune of essentially being a love letter to the original black ops. I played an unhealthy amount of zombies in Cold War. To the point that I think I only have 4 guns left that aren't max level yet. Other than loving the theme and such of Cold War I don't have the same drive for Vanguard. Although the STG44 and DP-27 are what made me buy the game which is a weird sentence to say lol.
Surprised I haven't seen this yet, loved all the other reused maps videos you've made. I think it's a crime that the windmill area wasn't made into its own survival map you could play on like Town or Farm. Honestly it might be one of my favorite areas in any CoD zombies game from the aesthetic alone. Would play the hell outta that map. Along with the Dark Aether area in Terra. Honestly if Treyarch/Sledgehammer just released those two areas as survival maps I think a lot more people would give Vanguard a chance. Because while Vanguard is the weakest Treyarch zombies mode (arguably the weakest CoD zombies mode) I still think Terra is a fun time and I think Shi No Numa Reborn is a really good remake. Archon and Der Anfang suck tho imo. Point is, it still has some positives people should give a chance. tldr; I rambled. Great video!
Despite the overwhelming negative reviews of this game, I honestly didn't mind it all that much. I think its easier to get into and enjoy when you think of it as a WW2 themed shooter rather than a purely realistic, historically accurate WW2 game. The campaign was definitely underwhelming, and I got mixed feelings about the zombies, but the multiplayer was actually legitimately fun for me. I wouldn't say its a good COD game, but i think it has the potential to be an enjoyable experience as long as you aren't going into it with the negative mindset that the reviews set up for it. Compared to the 2 prior games, its definitely a downgrade but I still honestly dont get the hate that it got. Its no revolutionary must play game, its just kinda fun.
After watching this video, it does have me kind worried for COD2024. Because if treyarch is building everything from scratch then idk what features from Cold War will return or not
@@spongeythumb I can get why a lot of people dont like it, but honestly, the game isn't all that bad. Me personally I can't get a lot of the hate the game got. The modes were lackluster and underwhelming, and I can get that, but I dont think its fair to say its a bad game as a whole. Maybe compared to MW2019 and BOCW yeah, its not that great of a COD game, but if your playing without any biased viewpoint and you just go into it to enjoy it and play, at a baseline value it really isn't that bad. I feel like a lot of the bugs they had that were really messing with the game got fixed. but the community gave up on this game so fast. But I'll admit, a laser gun really doesn't belong in a WW2 themed (wouldn't call it a WW2 game) game, I dont know what they were on when they made that choice.
While vanguard is, to put it lightly, not very good, i do kinda resoect it for one simole reason, it is the pinicle wxample of why crunch time is a massive issue in the gaming industry
When I saw the title I was certain this video would be a minute long.
It's actually the longest out of all the zombie videos from literally everything being reused
It may not be my favorite zombies iteration, but I still like it. Thank you for covering this topic

Nice, been waiting for this one

Lol the example makes me think the mode is really bad in all the games
@@ChadKakashi Iron Man and several other MCU films are top tier and weren't molded around the Marvel formula

I wouldn't worry unless they give us a reason to
Best zombies map.
They got way too much hate for this game
I was hoping for a video on this game. I like the Zombies even the strange first 2 maps. But that final map is god awful
I think u meant the entire game

Nothing to say, but a comment to help the YT algorithm.
I appreciate it

The fact that they didn't turn sub map into stand alone round map is very sad
Finally, he's covering VanGOAT'd 😁
Don't worry if you missed anything... Nobody cares or knows the difference because no one played it.
