ooh i get to be the guy to say: PAPing the Wunderwaffe a second and third time doesn't do shit for killing regular zombies But it does increase it's damage to zombies A significant amount each time I love one shotting Sturmkriegers
I love the fact that you actually had criticisms and could compliment the game on the things it did well, or at least tried to do. most youtubers would have just jumped on the hate train against the game but you went through the effort of actually giving the game an honest to God chance.
Apparently they were wanting to push Zombies towards a pseudo-roguelite style of gameplay with the objective maps; unfortunately that never panned out since you need more than upgradeable perks, covenants and the standard zombies accoutrements with bland objectives and equally flat backdrops to achieve this. While I can appreciate some things that Vanguard tried, overall I'd still say that the experiment was a failure in the end. Hopefully this was more a learning experience as much as it was a painful one for Treyarch.
There was one other time you could combine two ammo pools in Call of Duty zombies: That was with the M1 Garand and the variant with the rifle grenade attachment in World at War.
quite enjoy your videos and how you structure them. always seems like you put in extra effort to create a concise, easy to follow narrative so to speak. well done, man
Man, watching this just makes me miss the old CoD games. They were so simple, but challenging as well. I feel like there is way too much hand holding. Now I can respect them for trying new things, even if they failed. No shame in that. But man. The old system was just so good (BO1 - BO3) yeah yeah maybe it’s just nostalgia bias. But I even had my friend play an old CoD zombies after playing a new one and he preferred it. Just sucks to see what they’re doing to something I loved so much. I really hope they can maybe just go back to what it used to be. I love your video, thanks for pointing out the negatives and the positives. I probably won’t play this one ever, but I hope the next one can be good. Maybe they can remaster it. We’ve had remakes and remasters of Modern Warfares. Now we need something for Black Ops.
World at War did stack your ammo if you had two weapons of the same bullet type, but nowhere near as in depth as Vanguard. Getting a higher ammo pool for a gun meant you needed two of the same one with an attachment, so really only the Kar98k, Double Barrel Shotgun and possibly the M1 Garand were applicable
Never will I play this game, but I do agree the graphic are great and I like how smooth the animations are. What are you playing on BTW? The hud in the recent zombie games didn't bother me much until this one. Everything is pretty spread out and I'm not a fan of Perks in the middle, or health bars of your teammates. But I do really like the font in this game. The art style is much better than coldwar . Coldwar always felt foggy and blotchy. Way too dark to see or way too bright sometimes. But Vanguard is much like WAW. Its gritty with darker lighting. And shiny like BO1. And I much prefer the dark Aesthetic then Cold Wars purple. ALSO, WHEN TF DID THEY PUT A SHIELD IN THE BOX
This was recorded on an Xbox One X, but the game does still look really nice. I’m assuming this is because it’s built off of MW2019, which was made for that generation of consoles. And I think the shield was added a couple months after launch, but I don’t quite remember. It does look a little silly because of how big it is compared to everything else in the box
I think what they should do, is to make it so that you can start in any map then when you do the EE you move onto the next map but it’s in the same game and round(obviously being able to stay in that map if you don’t want to switch but being able to move on whenever). EG if you started on der eisendrache and completed that EE then you could choose to move onto the next map(being shown by some new object in the map being interactable like a car) or staying on the map with the option staying in the map. Then when you switch map you could have a menu which would say if you want to save this game, want to restart to round 1 on the next map and still have all your weapons and stuff, or be given a cutscene of the characters leaving and the game ending
This is something that I wish they did in Cold War. Imagine if they took the map changing system from Outbreak and applied it to the round based maps, letting you do all four in one sitting.
10:18 Kar98k and Scope Kar98k on Nacht Der Toten on Call Of Duty 5 World At War which allow you to have a your Scope Kar98k a total of 105 shots (100 in the reserve and 5 on the magazine)
I think they should bring back rarities from cold war for the next game It made the games be a lot more replayable and get you to upgrade your weapon more. I really hate the perk system buying the perk 4 times to get it's full effect? This reminds me of black ops 4 where you had to pack a punch the gun 5 times for the full damage boost unlike in bo3 where one upgrade already gave you the full damage boost. it's just annoying and it's the laziest way to get someone to spend more points on something. Like seriously in Vanguard spending 15,000 points for each perk is just too much. I like the idea of upgrading your equipment aka. field upgrades it's something that makes sense and making the field upgrade have more unique tiers makes sense. I don't like sacrificial hearts but it could be replaced with high graded salvage.
@@theGODZILLA150 I'm open for all the changes to be honest Even if they might suck it's refreshing to have something new even if it was black ops 4 Of course I'm ignoring Vanguard though because they couldn't even finish half the basic features on launch with the time they had
There is no reason why the operators are there and I don't get why they did this. Activision have so much money to do more but COD is a factory made game every year. So, no soul or love in this game. Zombies is a PvE mode, it's okay to feel OP. It doesn't ruin the game by any means. Having more perks at once is fine if done right. Vanguard was very lame not having more choice and uniqueness to its gameplay, which made it fall flat. Vanguard also made World War 2 look and feel a comic book fun house. World at War was better a game to contribute to a gritty and dark tone. This help pay tribute to the veterans and respect to the history. Vanguard didn't do that which made me hate the game so much. The zombies was boring and had no replay value. The weapons felt overcomplicated with attachments and were a grind. (Doesn't make sense for WW2 guns). The maps were mostly repeated the same assets and not really original. The easter eggs were easy, not challenging, and not meaningful. I don't want to comeback to this game again or have them go back to this system. Cold War was better with there execution in zombies.

A rogue like typa thing would’ve been cool as an experimental map such as Outbreak

Played a bit of zombies in Black Ops 2, but really only played majorly it in WaW and Black Ops 1. Damn, it's gotten complicated.
10:12, In WAW the shot gun ammo combines, double barrel, sawed off and trenchgun combine. so if you do the 3 gun glitch you can get 180 bullets!
Dude your edits of the HUD on Bo4,CW and this game are so clean
Recently watched your other video about WaW reused zombies! Just wanted to say I love your channel! Very chill content!

Great video man
First time to hear someone how talks in positive way about vangard
It has a good foundation, they just need to take it in the right direction

that campaign wasnt bad tbh. it was fresh.
Haven’t shotguns been outperforming all guns in cod zombies since the beginning lol

Oh by the way the waffle is upgraded to increase damage against bosses and also refill ammo like an ammo box would.
