I'm pretty sure VR-11 was meant for FIVE because it turns the zombies to CIA agents, and Winter's Howl was probably meant for Call of The Dead due to the ice theme and the fact that it works better in open spaces than narrow ones. It also makes a lot of sense that Romero, who is calmed by cold water, would be calmed by Winter's Howl, so it could have served that purpose as well. That's only my theory, though, and I have no idea why they would switch them, except maybe just because they thought it would make a good Easter egg step.

The water is contaminated with Element 115, and the assumption is that he was pretty much held down in the water and drowned, but the cold water pretty much preserved his body during the zombification process. The other zombies are the way they are is because of the initial outbreak when the ship crashed infecting everyone.
I can't remember which of the characters said it in this map, but one of the other lines at round 50 was something like "I'm beginning to think we're never going home" and that one has always stuck out to me as being really macabre and depressing in a game with mostly humorous dialogue. Just looked it up, it's Robert on round 35. He's the other character that implies you're a cheater on round 50, though.

I believe the submarine is a u-boat in reference to the german u-boats. Hinting to the facility being a relic of the Nazis. Also, the ship is crashed onto the lighthouse, breaking into two pieces. Weird though because the generators must have been setup after the crash. Also, it could have been related to shi no numa and the tunguska event. Who was traveling across the arctic along the siberian coast with freight train containers?
Agreed, but from what I saw it isn’t very commonly used by most people. That’s probably because leaving that one door closed prevents you from getting Speed Cola and using the box back there.
When I was young I’ve always thought I was really good. Looking back at it, my high rounds weren’t really high, and I don’t think I’ve ever done a solo Easter egg despite always trying to do the Easter egg… lol
If you're playing on the One/Series, it's not the scratched disc. You're actually playing a downloaded version, with the disc being a key. The DLC maps are sorta glitchy, texture wise. The emulation for BO1 isn't the best imo.
At least the only texture you seemed to lose was the scope, I lost every texture on every gun, everything is just silver. A lot of environment textures seem to be LOD textures too.
Ive played zombies since waw nacht. Ive only been to the 50s once on ascension (52) and ive never killed George or did any EEs. Huge zombie fan, guess i just suck.😂
