I don't hate operators - I like seeing Adler, Mason, Woods, Ghostface, etc. in the zombies mode, but like you said I wish they'd react to each other or the stuff going on around them. Even if it was just them responding to the Requiem team with a one-liner
Very well spoken review. I liked the highlight about the loss of touch on the horror atmosphere and whether that was there intention or not, I really do miss maps like mob and even kino. I hope In the next game the content holds a bit more weight.
Honestly, this is one of, if not my favorite zombies purely for the fact of all the fun me and my buddy had camping in the penthouse in die machine til round 80 constantly going down and screaming how hectic it was, and I was there when bo1 came out so Im not some 10 year old squeaker
@@theGODZILLA150 3 months later, and RUclips just recommended you to me. Loving your zombie videos of the new cod games, I'll never play then so thanks for suffering through them
Thanks for the support! I’ve got a couple ideas for more analytical content, but with all the map reviews that are already out there, I want to make sure I have something original to say
The ability to apply custom blueprints through the pause menu is awkward and immersion breaking, but I'd still rather have the feature than not. It just feels like a bandaid solution. Like maybe just don't put randomized attachments on guns, or use a weapon kit system like BO3.
I enjoy Cold War zombies for what it is, sure it's not like the previous zombie games in the past and is vastly different in tone, but I still enjoy it for slaughtering zombies and getting to the high rounds. Yes, it has its flaws, and it can be too easy when you have your preferred weapon loadout and powerful tiers early on, but I think due to the change of pace and tone from the previous zombies, I guess it would unbalance the experience. Older zombies started off slow and scary, a fight for your life against an endless horde of zombies and no story. All you have starting off with your survival is a pistol you have to use to work yourself up to increase your firepower with other guns. In Cold War, that scary feeling is not there, you're there for a mission so of course you need to bring your best guns to the fight against the zombies. I can agree that there could've been more with the operators and your guides and that there could've been 2 different sides you can be on. The only operator I enjoy playing as is Ghostface and I like his voicelines, but as you said, there could've been more interaction with each other or with Requiem Team. Overall, definite change of pace and experience that I enjoy, but it's definitely not old zombies.
The idea of two quests ala Black Ops 2 sounds like a really cool idea
Alone is so fire. Fr tho I wish Kevin did more music.
I loved outbreak and fire base Z felt familar yet a unique approach to zombies

Great review for the time, but rampage is the definitive survival challenge imo

I do hope zombies chronicles 2 comes to this game so people give it another chance but I still somewhat enjoyed Cold War zombies.
With Treyarch working on Vanguard, it seems unlikely. But BO3 did get Chronicles after its lifecycle, so maybe there's still hope

Cold War is the worst zombies experience to date. Well, just behind vanguard.
Cold war zombie is better than vanguard,bo4,ww2,iw,aw zombies .
@@KurianfromIndia iw zombies ? Nah you clearly haven’t played zombies in space land
DLC maps in Cold War were the worst in cod history
Nah advanced warfare has that award
