    I think someone may have mentioned this but coriander is actually the seed of cilantro. So the green stuff you put on was cilantro. But I think in the UK y'all call it coriander and in the states we actually call it by the plant, cilantro

    • @BeckyExcell
      @BeckyExcell  4 года назад +2

      I used gluten-free self-raising flour (full recipe is linked in the description!). Self-raising gf flour has added xanthan gum and baking powder which helps bind the dough and allow it to puff up a little when cooked. Hope that makes sense! x

      Hi, I will be using a mixture of Yucca flour, Gram flour and Buckwheat, I have no almond flour available and my coconut flour is in my freezer waiting to be put into oven to dry out. I also will not be using xanthan gum, but I will add a little psyllium husk, and arrowroot powder.
      I shall let you know how they turn out.

      They were really nice , but not so nice after they had cooled down, however worth playing around with other flours
      Just having the correct amounts
      Maybe next time I just use Yucca and buckwheat, or Yucca and Gram flour...
      Maybe mixing 3 was too much..
      Definitely eating them hot or if you need to reheat them, little water splashed on them before reheating them may keep them a little more moist..
      Enjoy

    Good morning from the Canary Islands. Decided to make these this morning as I have been invited for lunch and I have been gluten free for 8 years now, I am not coeliac however for health reasons {I found out after doing a lot of research that gluten damages cartilage, which I thankfully regrew, after being off work sick and needing possible both knees replacing, elbows, eventually hips} anyway I digress removing gluten also reversed 27 years of fibromyalgia, but back to the recipe, I follow your recipes but I have found my naan breads not to be cooked inside, even though the color was correct on both sides, I am wondering if they were too thick? Or maybe the pan was too hot and cooked outside to the correct color but inside seemed quite raw, I have 4 left to cook so I have rolled them thinner, but thinking the high heat will burn outside making them not so soft. Any ideas as I don’t have enough flour {I have gluten free bread flour} but not SR. Thank you ..Anyone before lunch? Haha…

      Self raising flour is baking powder and salt added to it. So it can be made with either glutan free types of flours or wheat if its not glutan free. As long as you purchase glutan free self raising flour you should be ok.
