Have a great Sunday everyone!
Hey Ola, got me a Solar AB1.6AFRQBR. Arrives Monday. Looking forward to it.
You to Ola Rock on man 🤘
we early today Ola
You too Ola! Thanks for the amazing vids always 🤘
Best intro jag hört av dig 👑👍
The other day my oldest son (19) and I were driving and listening to Liquid Metal on satellite radio. Jose was playing 2 seconds of a song and you had to guess it. He played one and my son goes “that’s Pantera, you can tell by the sound of the guitar.” Definitely a proud father moment!
Long live Dime, Vinny, Rex and Phil! I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Pantera! I still visit them in the cemetery and attend Down shows to support Phil! Panthers forever!
Man - Kirk nailed that fail - even the best band around can make mistakes, and the fans know they are only human. That makes shows so good sometimes! Dont want robotic perfection every fukn show right?!
Metallica is one of the few Bands that can get away with this. Once they got Elderly, they developed a sense of Humor. Lars even finally pulled the drumstick out of his ass.
Metallica is constantly out of tune at their shows, and Kirk plays different leads for the same songs all the time. Annoys the shit out of me.
@@full_metal_troy8394 haahahah
YES! Catching occasional goofs and mistakes is the icing on the cake at live shows. I saw Neil Peart screw up once but it was so fast if you blinked and didn't have all his drum parts memorized you never would have caught it. He played a fill on an old song and went for a tom that wasn't there anymore (he replaced it with his ride cymbal). He recovered so fast it was scary. It honestly made my night.
That was so cool! He made it look and sound like he failed a song in guitar hero, it was fxcking perfect! XD
I'm old enough to of seen Pantera 3 times in the 90's! Blessed
Ola, thanks so much for answering my question, like you dimebag will always be my favourite guitarist and I think we were lucky to have had a chance to watch such a great band.
Hello and good morning. I'm Vinny, Tosins tech. There seems to be some confusion regarding the kaizen tuning pegs. The pitch adjustment is located on the back of the headstock, the locking mechanism is on the front. Cheers
Thanks for clarifying!
Damn man, what a speech you gave about the legacy of Dimebag.
He’s my absolute favorite guitarist of all time and Pantera my favorite band.
You can count on me to keep his legacy alive along with you and the other dime fans.
Getcha Pull brother 🥃🤘🎸
One thing that definitely hurts in keeping Pantera relevant are Phil's antics and his reputation. That does nothing to help the fans repping Dime and Vinny's legacy, and it's kinda sad.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. The way Ola was holding the mannequin. First by holding one cheek then cupping both cheeks of it, just casually talking. I have to say, that made me laugh.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘❤️❤️❤️
Almost destroyed dimebag and petrucci guitars when decapitating the mannequin
I read it with your voice lmao
BUt He DiDn'T, bRo
RUclips must have unsubscribed me...RUclips is the reason for my shitty guitar playing! Finally, I've found something other than myself to blame! Thanks Fluff! ;)
Nice left hook though.
Morning 🌻🌻🌻
Ola imo ... dimebags spirit lives on in decapitated, that guitarist is a huge dime fan and honors him by playing in the style of dime but keeping it modern and relevant. Dime for life 🤘🎶
Dime will never be forgotten. My son wasn't even born when Pantera were around but he's been trying to learn a few songs on Rocksmith! He loves far beyond driven and is only 13. So there's always a new generation even if it's not a "big" as before. I'm one of the few who got to hang with Dime and Pantera after a gig back in 1992 when they were supporting Megadeth I the UK. Great memories. I still have a Pantera signed Countdown to Extinction tour book to this day. Great video as always. 👍
BADASS🤘🏻🌞🤘🏻 Great Episode Tonight 💛 Keep it Brutal Kids! Love from Texas
I was lucky enough to win Vinny’s Damageplan shirt that he toured in, lost out last second on a few records and his famous Hellyeah shirt but I’m happy I got something! Congrats on your win!!
You always have great content Ola 🆒👍
Happy Sunday everyone! Thanks for the amazing/consistent content Ola and crew! Fav part of this particular vid..
“Hug someone” ❤️ “hug your family”
Genuine. It’s why I’m here. Thanks for the hard work duder! 🤘🏻✌🏻
Killer intro riffs! Very thrash in a very great way. One of my favorites ever, possibly.
This has become my favorite video of the week. You make some amazing content!
You stepped up the opening riff this week!
Ha! Love your vids, Ola. And you are correct I feel about namn. It’s very sad, I always wished I could go, but I fear it is coming to an end. I always hear from friends who go that work within so they can visit, that it’s not like it was. A lot of huge artists don’t show up anymore, that’s what Made me want to go. (Not knocking you, love to see you at a namn) lol. Much love dude.
Man, that was the best 23.04 minutes ill live thru this week!
Great opening tune as always!
Great Show as Always Sir! NC USA Love
Could feel a the emotions in this video
Much love man🖤 and keep doing these REAL videos!!
Dime RIP!! 🤘🏻
Brutal intro man, love it!
Ola on the spot with all the news from a week ago.
By far one of the most brutal intro yet!!! Please make that into a full song!!!
You're so effortlessly funny and entertaining.
If Dime ever falls to the background we have lost the plot of music as a whole! He single handedly shaped GENERATIONS of musicians and fans alike. Pantera was the kind of band that could turn goats piss to gasoline and they drove it home too! Keep on rockin! Twitch from Boston, MA🤘🏻
Didn't have any luck at the VP auction, was a bummer but oh well.
Great Vid as always!
🤘🏿😞 Vinnie Paul auction? damn that's a serious bloody bummer dude.I just drove past Alrosa and... I'm Abit sad.
ordered a few things last week, currently waiting patiently
Greetings from Colombia you are a tremendous guitarist
Whooo, exceptional riffing at the start!
Search pantera reaction vids and see how much pops up. Every music reaction channel gets to those guys pretty quick. I loves it
LOVE the intro jam! Started off on some dEFTONES shit and then when all thrash. 🤘One of my favorites for sure.
Whoa the Pantera and DIME and Vinnie question of relevance was brutal.😞I shall assist you Ola....it is time 🤘🏿😈!
Great video as always ! I swear that when I finally buy a guitar with FR, the first song I will learn it will be Pantera song.
Cam corder or not. DIME still rips and proves what he was through it all. Forever the best HEAVY METAL guitarist ever. DAMN STRAIGHT 🤘🤘
Amazing!
Glad we got people like you who stay relevant and support Dime. I think their music is still relevant and they were ahead of their time in many ways. Good job Ola
That intro was dynamite!!! :-)
Agreed! Kicked much ass.
Hey Ola, the Kaizen has the steinberger gear-less tuners that were very popular on Firebird reissues. 40:1 ratio! Very cool design.
Killer intro riff, you should made a whole song and a video!🤘🏼😎🎸
That intro 🔥
Yup yup
Saw him failed the Nothing Else Matters in Abu Dhabi back in 2013, said he was sweating a lot and his hands slipped (which made sense), he actually handled it well, explained it with a big smile, started playing and continued his gig as if it didn't happened. That makes him pretty relatable :) I think no-one really cared.
NAMM was pretty good this year! Definitely smaller.. and I missed a lot of great brands but Ibanez, Abasi, Siggi Braun were there.. Ernie ball, Vola, on top of the stuff you already mentioned. It was a bit less crowded but the educational/audio community stuff was the same as previous years. A lot less product releases, like you said... But I think it'll be back, it's just too fun to hang with the homies 😅.
At work right now, its 12.15 on a sunday, been here for three hours, still no costumers. This vid couldnt have come at a better time!
Basically getting paid to watch Ola
The intro jam had a Nuclear Assault old school vibe to it. Awesome
Also... Was at Download festival yesterday. It was great to be back and even better to see Megadeth again after quite some time!
Ola, you are such a funny ass dude bro! 😂😂😂😂
Love the "Uncle Roger" reference on the Washburn D3..... "Hi yahhh" 😂😂😂
Damn some real thrash goodness in that intro
Unfortunately every band has the downturn in popularity, I am 51 and seen lots of bands go through this, the good thing is there is so much footage, sad to hear about the Dimefest, hopefully the Dime Estate can do a festival tour in honor of Dime and Vinny, getting bands to play honoring these guys. Anytime people might forget about Dime and Vinny and Pantera, they can look at the live in Moscow concert, that’s how they always played, A Big Can of Whoop-Ass!
Damnnnn I can hear a song right there on those drums, don't think I'll have time this week to record it though!
Keeping Dime relevant is definitely hard, I get that. I started learning about Pantera a lot later then when I started getting into metal. He was already gone when I learned about Dime. Still to this day he is a great influence on me when it comes to guitar. Excited to learn what will happen with this Dime Guitarz thing!
That intro was sick af.
I like that riff in the start ola🤘🏻
Awesome Sunday with Ola, quick question are you working on a new The Haunted album, keen as too hear some new music cheers from New Zealand 🤘🤘
Oh Ola that start was Awesome.. From Your New song?
Love the Chug Life tee 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I got to see Pantera a handful of times. I’ve seen hundred and hundreds of shows and the Pantera shows were some of my best memories in my old age. I got to see Vulgar tour and Far Beyond Driven tour and Great Southern Trendkill tour plus at OzFest in 2001. I’ve seen most of the greats including Chuck and Death but there was just a different vibe at a Pantera show.
Hi Ola! Your tone in the intro was awesome! What were you playing through?
I love watching Kiko’s channel!
Yea yeah I ordered one of them shirts. 🤟🏼🤟🏼
@Ola more intros like this one please! 😁🤘🏻
Rob Chapman said he really enjoyed this years NAMM because of the focus on smaller boutique brands.....I think SOLAR woulda killed it at NAMM this year
Who cares what that fraud thinks
Eita porra, mandando bem demais cara…rules
Intro riff went crazy fr fr
While watching every single Sunday with Ola my eyes slowly drift to your Ibanez John Petrucci. He’s my favorite guitarist and I love Ibanez guitars. That guitar is so cool! One day I will procure a John Petrucci Ibanez 7 string.
You’ll probably have to build one then. I don’t think his Ibanez 7 strings went to production or even if they did, there were very few (probably a couple) in existence.
@@sanjivharikumar I’ve seen originals that have been made (I think) but they’re so incredibly rare even if there were any. Hopefully I’ll find an original one day, but custom is the second option.
@@jacksguitars7394 Good luck! That would be awesome to own if you do get an original.
hey Ola, I heard some ringing in the background of your video, had to pause to make sure it was the video and not just my ears lol
That drum tech deserves a raise and a status level up.🤘🏿😎. What a great story 🤘🏿😈😎
Loved the "haiya" during Da News. Been watching much Uncle Roger/Nigel Ng?
Hi Ola, just wanna ask what platform or music distribution do you use? Is there any tips from you for releasing music?
Wow..another killer riff man
That fuckin bass tone in the intro holy PHUCK lol
haha 15:54 I'm just using one of those machines right now at my workshop, cool synchronicity
thanks for a cool video. Be safe and skilful. Pinge
I think the TA and EB collab is dope, I want one.
Love the back to the future act by kirk. Love it…
The QOTD had me having feelings, man. The bands I grew up on, Metallica/Megadeth/Slayer/Pantera - two are done for good now and won't be releasing anything new, one is still super visible, and one is well over-the-hill IMO. The only constant is change and it's unavoidable, but it sure can be sad sometimes too. This music that means so much will live on forever but it's up to the kids of the future to do what I did and look back on all eras of music and find what calls to them. Nothing has or will ever speak to me again the way thrash metal does, but you also have to always be looking for the next inspiration lest you stagnate.
That manequin is a good representation of... myself!!
That mannequin bit was pretty good. XD
Good morning Ola, my best mate Dean shot the photos and designed the cover of 'Far Beyond Driven.' There are several far more explicit versions that were crafted but didn't get approved....
Killer intro!
question about a question: do you think that the controversy surrounding Pantera (the use of confederate flag, Phil's stage "fuck ups") have contributed to this lowering popularity of the band? At least the me, they've lost a bit of that sparkle from when I got to know them...
You probably won't touch on that subject (or may have done it already), but I've always been curious about your position on that. Cheers!
Intro 🔥
Tight intro!
When the mannequin torso came out I honestly thought: Chuggo's getting a body!
Hahahahaha
Fuck, this swola intro riff is really sick
Ola is a very good speech giver
Goddamn that guitar tone at the beggining
That opener 😳
Honestly that hellyeah drum kit, thought it go for more. Very crazy, wish I had the money. I’m not a drummer, but pantera and Vin, man… that would be cool to have and show.
That Tosin EB reminds me of the Casio midi guitar from the ‘80’s.
Coffee with Richard Z! Big Kirk fan. Great band!
I can tell by the intro song that Ola's been listening to the new Decapitated too.
Man I laughed hard at the mannequin part 🤣
You should dress it one of chug life t-shirts or something 😁
This just goes to show how much of a badass Ringo Starr is. He couldn't hear shit back in the 60s with all the screaming fans and lack of modern sound system, and he always held the tempo down. John shaking his ass and shaking his head going "woooo!" was his metronome hahaha!
You can advertise all you want to but making personal connections in this industry is huge as well. The internet can not replace these relationships, just sayin, while im always on line i was checking out all the gear at Namm all week, and did not miss the big Brands that stayed home, just sayin, Your work is absolutely Fantastic, and I will own a sustaniac solar one day, I want it in a single cut so I can lay Gibsons to waste.Lol. Thanx Ola.
