Hi Kaori-san and Kwok Yew-san, it seems nostalgic to me when I grew up as a kid having market food.....you can try visiting Taman OUG morning market on the weekends and it has many things to see as well so as cheap fruits and veges fresh from their farms. The community in OUG is huge and some can speak English very well. Have go when you have time and wish you a great Chinese New Year

I see many mm2h foreigner visitors and Ms Koari they all opted for ice beverage doesnt matter its morning afternoon evening or supper. Please try to order hot beverage (do ask for lesser sugar or kurang manis). The taste is remarkably different and much nicer with the diluted version. Beside drinking hot beverage will cool you down and will not warm you up in malaysia weather.
I understand that it'll be kind of hard to travel around with work and your children now in school. But if it's possible, maybe you guys can try to travel to other parts of Malaysia. You can try out Kuching as there's a lot of local foods which is very nice such as kolo mee and laksa sarawak among many others. (:
