It's happened to mine, I bought xm4 September last year and the battery got drain around June these year and I brought them to Sony service center and they replace it with the new one in a week and for free 1 month ago. Mine still warranty at that time. I live in Indonesia, by the way. And yes, they have warranty. It's 12 months. Their service is good.
Update, I bought xm5 2 weeks ago and love it! 🤩

i got my mf 1000xm5 yesterday and i charged it to 100% with buds inside now after 1 day it shows 56% on the case for only 3 hours of usage in which 1 hr was software update and remaining music and call does my earphone have a battery issue

The batteries are not user replaceable

@@ADJ1229 Then why make e-waste. Its not like it needs constant OS support. All it needs is batteries that can be replaced. So run smoothly for the next 5 - 10 years until you have some significant protocol changes

I found that the AirPods are better when there’s not much background sound but if there’s a lot of background noise the Sony for me seems better.

In my experience xm5 call clarity is very bad. When you send voice message in WhatsApp you can understand. Mic its very bad. I’m with on this device. Especially you should speak in louder, otherwise mic not recognize our sound. You cannot listen music too when the wind.

For the first time, none of the provided eartips will fit my ears. I know I am not the only one. No good seal means very poor ANC performance. In fact, any of my other ANC buds performs better. I am thinking of returning them.
