As a former gymnast myself, Mike looked like a natural on the bars and vault. Glad that Jesse showed off his 'rip' after the bar routine. My coach would cut the flap of skin off, poor alcohol on it to 'kill the nerves', wrap it up with some white tape and then expect us to continue on with practice on p-bars and rings etc.

Yeah he had more flow to his muscle movement. I think the way they think of gymnastics and parkour being different in whether or not it's rigid or uses creativity is more about the different of environment/course, and someone needed to remind them to let their bodies flow, curve, point, but then also end up technically controlled. The guy in the grey shirt was starting to move that way on the beam. But also like the girls said it's typically not part of male gymnastics so ~purposely~ adding some of that flourish and looseness might have felt a little silly to them.
