Great demonstration of clever and thoughtful TLC. Beautiful outcome! Had a similar experience with a 1991 ZR-1 that I purchased that spent years on a farm in Washington state. Had to take the seats out just to vaccum all the sheep wool out of it. The whole project took the better part of a winter. But then again I did the underside of the car which has even more unique challenges.
Thanks for saving the c4 looks fantastic looks way better on the interior with your changes. Love to have a tin of the new lithium balm on my detail cart. Great video guys your time efforts are appreciated..👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦 As a corvette fan I bet you keep it until you find a C5 or C6 to bring back to life.
I was kinda sceptical at first but you guys seem to have pulled it off! Looking pretty! I have a white 93 c4 that would love some balm if you haven't gotten rid of it all yet!!
Awesome series! Great idea on the panels ( i was going to replace mine but not now) 2 questions - where did you get the seats? I need to replace mine and where did you get the steering wheel for that price? Thanks
Joe!! Thank you!! You get some balm, but you have to show us your leather pants!! Shoot us an email with your address and we will get you out some Balm!
Realize this was shot a year ago, but if your still checking comments what was the balm you were using on the dash, and did it ever go into production?
❗❕❗ I have this exact Vette❗❕❗ Same color, same year. Mine's worse (he was perfect when I got him 15+ years ago). Broke down 4 yrs ago before I could get him to his heated warehouse. 2 feet of snow came. Back window cracked, snowplow sprayed more snow on him. Interior filled with leaves, pine needles, dirt. UGH. Mine's in SAD shape. And that red is so ugly! Time ages every piece a different color. He runs again (VATS system. Dealership wanted $1600. Fixed it myself for $3 with resister from eBay). Your product made the paint look great! Around the gas cover, my clear coat is flaking off. Tried 5-6 different products. After drying, they ALL left white residue in flaked off clear coat. Makes it look worse. Does your product help restore/bring life back to areas where the clear coat is starting to flake off❓❔❓ THANK YOU for the great ideas on the interior!!! Xtra black on the doors looks awesome. Red to black carpet - BIG improvement! Definitely copying you!! Can't afford new seats. Found black seat covers that wrap around entire seat. I'm limited income - can't afford new visors. What attracts mice to them so bad❓❔❓ LOL Suggestions on cheap fix for visors?? They're a weird shape, bumpy, have holes for roof to attach, etc. Removing not an option. Tried to wrap with leather. Didn't work out so well. LOL If you read this, please share any ideas on what to do with my shredded, mouse attacked visors... Thanx❗❕❗ 🐀 🐁 🐀 🐁 🐀 🐁 🐀 🐁 🐀 🐁 🐀
Hi Guys!! Everyone is getting balm!! Just shoot us your email with your address and we will get you out the balm!! But Joe has to send us a picture of his Leather Pants!!!
You gentlemen lost all of you credibility when you displayed a steering wheel you were throwing away with a steering wheel puller attached to it!! No legitimate mechanic would ever do that!! I have been an ASE Certified Master Technician for over 45 years!! I have over $50,000 invested in tools. We don't make that kind of mistake!!!! That will cost us our lively hood. As I heard you say in your video, " pay attention to details" !!
I can't believe how amazing the transformation is on this one. It truly might be the best on RUclips! Great job guys.
Balm me up Scotty (Bill)🖖
I am ready to try that on some of my uncle's car collection which I can send you photos to check some of them out.
Humberto!! Shoot us an email and we will get you out some Balm!
That’s amazing. It went from the field to showroom. Great job.
As a C4 owner and restorer, the car looks fantastic, thanks for sharing

The Vette looks great and The Balm worked well. I'd like to try The Balm.
Hi Keith! I got your email!! Balm is coming your way!!
This was all before and after shots. Would be nice to see how some things were actually done
No doubt those seats are more supportive and possibly more comfortable however I prefer the look of the originals. They just look the part.
I am so glad I stumbled onto this video. Looks awesome!
I was kinda sceptical at first but you guys seem to have pulled it off! Looking pretty! I have a white 93 c4 that would love some balm if you haven't gotten rid of it all yet!!
I recently bought my first C4 and i felt like it was my own version of a barn find. 65k miles on a 1990, she runs fine and looks like a dime still
Balm me! That car is stunning! Excellent work!
Hi Roxxxstar!! Thank you!! Shoot us an email with your address and we will get you out some Balm!
@@DetailandBail Done! I can't wait!
What seats did you install (they look great), did you reuse the original power base or did you have to modify them?
Need to get interspace too. But would live to try that out with feed back
Outstanding!
Awesome series! Great idea on the panels ( i was going to replace mine but not now) 2 questions - where did you get the seats? I need to replace mine and where did you get the steering wheel for that price? Thanks
I wanna try balm .... that stuff looks amazing
Hi Mike!! Balm is coming your way!!
@@DetailandBail I'm excited
Bill Josh great video. Car looks amazing. As a VIT ready to try the balm 👍👌
HI Jason!! Thank you!! Shoot us an email with your address and we will get you out some Balm!
@@DetailandBail will do!
I'd like to try the balm. Might try it on my leather pants. or something similar. Nice job guys.
Joe!! Thank you!! You get some balm, but you have to show us your leather pants!! Shoot us an email with your address and we will get you out some Balm!
Great Job,....how do you buy the Balm?
I would be scared of the optispark dying.
Never put pressure on the wheel there are two metal pins that will bend and cause a lot of play in the wheel itself….
I bought the same seats for my c4, what brackets did you use ?
Don't try spraying down the 92 and later LT1's you will kill the Optispark.
Ask me how I know.
Great white North? Where in Canada, hope it’s not Calgary or Edmonton.
I love what you did to the door, we didn't see how you re-did the dash in the previous video. Do you have footage of that?
Where did you get your flame red and black dye?
Why is Deadpool restoring a car? He must be a big fan of Corvette's also
Did you guys ever say which seats you purchased? They look great.
What about detail sprays on the plasti dip afterwards? Like in later detailing and cleaning?
Love the Balm idea. Is it available up here in Canada 🇨🇦 ?
Realize this was shot a year ago, but if your still checking comments what was the balm you were using on the dash, and did it ever go into production?
How can I find the balm you show?
car looks awesome those touches really accentuate the car, what about dying seat belts as like to know how to do that properly.
Awwww yeahhhh
Papasmurf!! Balm is coming your way!!
@@DetailandBail awesome!!! Looking forward to trying it!!👍 thank you so much.
I have a C4 I need balm for
Ready to roll
Is the balm for sale anywhere? I don't see it in the store. Looks like fantastic stuff.
Are you guys located in West Jordan?
What did he use on the plastic panels?
How the hell is this a 400 subscriber channel? That plastidip hack is worth the sub alone, going to try that on my C4 this summer. Thanks!
I DEFINITELY want some balm too, if it's not too late!
I want to give my opinion, on the balm

I still don’t think u should ever spray any sort of water on the engine bay because of that dumb opti spark
1988 did not have optispark
Great Job. Where do I find the Bomb?
$275 for seats?? Please tell me where!
I'm getting this car and doing the same
Any balm left? I was late to the video. Keep up the great work
HI Paul!! Shoot us an email with your address and we will get you out some Balm!
Wow...were is episode #2 ????
Should cover the alternator and Battery first.
Where did you get the seats?
Woohoo.
Hi Guys!! Everyone is getting balm!! Just shoot us your email with your address and we will get you out the balm!! But Joe has to send us a picture of his Leather Pants!!!
Thanks Bill and Josh! Email sent 👍
Lol
If you still have some I would love some
Nice refresh on that Corvette. Those seats though. Just don't fit the cars style. Recover the factory seats.
Optispark, water pump, oil leaks, emergency brake, wheel cylinders, convertible rubber gaskets, transmission and rear end leak, gtranny slips, $12,000
1988 did not have optispark
OptiSpark was on LT-1, not L-98 like this Vette.

Awesome job I would love to try a sample 2196 Brighton Way, Merrick, NY 11566
