Thanks this is a great video. I’ve been using GoPro to make POV videos and plugging the lav mic straight into the GoPro and I ended up with a lot of peaks and clipping. I’m going to try this, thanks. Your audio sounded great brother.
Great video, very simple and easy. Some things I do; use light foam and fold the lav mic into it instead of deadcat, I record with my laptop which makes it easy to record many sources synchronized. In my experience road noise is exactly 1K to EQ it down. Usually engine bay mics capture too much valvetrain noise. You want to hear the air induction the most. A good spot can be under the glovebox for enhanced interior/engine sound. In the future I want to experiment more with different mics in the same spot and capture freq ranges for the best loudness to mix. like a low pass and high pass mic?
love the : "try to watch a movie without audio.......it's really hard". Hahahah good work man, keep going
Haha best way i could describe it 😂 my English isn’t the best !

@@bobmiettinen844 no worries man, keep going.

Will definitely try to record through the glovebox
@@bobmiettinen844 yeah, underneath the glovebox near the firewall. (I've only heard about this from friends, not tested)
@@yokai8896 need to test that next time, thanks🤩🙌
Thanks!
Hope this one helps you out a bit 🙏🙏
Hello, is it possible to connect two microphones to the jack plug to record the exhaust and engine simultaneously, and how?
Thanks
Not with this recorder, then you’ll need a h4 or h6 recorder..
@@bobmiettinen844 Ok thanks for your feedback
@@marcdebretagne3824 no worries dude 🙏
You can, you just need a stereo breakout cable and use two microphones
@@AudiRSAvant oh thanks, didn’t know that
