    Hi, im from Ecuador, here, we have the Chevrolet trailblazer 2.8 duramax with 200hp and the 6L50E transmission....... its a brazilian enabled, in fact is the HOLDEN TRAILBLAZER 2.8 duramax of Australia!
    With your turbo kit, how many Horse power would increase or how much hp the engine can stand with the factory level??
    And all the equipment that you provide, is compatible with that version??

  • @ProbeGT2

    What's the advantage of this turbo kit if you plan on staying below 230hp compared to the stock turbo?
    Also what's the boost response vs stock, does it comes on quicker, or you get more turbo lag? Stock peaks at 2000rpm but get very good boost pressure at 1500rpm. Also, can you possibly overpower the emission system? i mean, can it produce too much soot and Nox for it to handle and damage it long term?
    Or maybe you could make another video to answer any questions customers could have.

    • @Duramaxtuner
      @Duramaxtuner  2 года назад +8

      The advantage of this turbo compared to stock, if you are planning on staying below 230hp is the more reliable compressor wheel. Sure, you will also move more cold air across a wider operating range which has it's own benefits but probably not enough to justify a turbo upgrade. The lag a stock turbo has and the lag the DT44 has are extremely similar. So similar in fact that you will not be able to tell the difference from the driver seat. If you have a stock tune, upgrading the turbo wont require a tune update. However, if you have tuning and you upgrade the turbo your tuner needs to build you a new file. This is primarily for drive-ability (preventing surge) and protecting your emissions system. IN other words, a good tuner will provide a file that negates emissions equipment degradation. Hope this all helps. We will certainly have more videos out this year about the DT44.

    Looking to put my wife in a canyon, this looks like a great 👍upgrade, half to say thanks so much NICK and JASON.
    Question for NICK, l have a L.B.Z. and would love to install a " stelth-64 from your company, l however do not want the loud whistle, can l purchase the turbo from you balanced with say an aftermarket " wicked " wheel that doesn't whistle but produces max power?
    Thanks again NICK.🙂

      We likely can help you with keeping your truck quiet while running the Stealth 64. You wouldn't want a wicked wheel though, you likely could just run the stock air box, downpipe, exhaust and get better results.

    We have the turbo whistle now on our stock duramax 2018 ZR2. We're at
    54k miles is this normal? I've heard it on the road with other diesels
    and my buddy says it's just the turbo spooling up with boost. It's hard
    to find research on this. Also, we're getting a little exhaust in the
    cab. Have you gotten this? Maybe a clamp needs tightening at the
    downpipe from the turbo?? Thanks
