I cringe when I see ppl wiping all their palettes clean. I see Tim Holtz doing it all the time with inks etc and I get it, but he demonstrates to viewers like they have infinite amounts of inks and sprays and supplies most of the time normalizing waste. A few bigger creators tend to normalize waste. I see ppl do it with oils too. You can store oil paint in a fridge etc too. Or use it before it dries up. Even stain some things you will use. I love your watercolour palette.Great idea mixing it all up💜
Same here, it's certainly cringeworthy (AS IS seeing people put out pin-dot sized bits of watercolor in order to "paint"...OMG!! FILL those wells, how they expect anything but an "anemic" painting is beyond me. What kills me is they're "teaching" others the same CRAPPY habits. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Isn't it fantastic??? Sometimes it's my FAVORITE part of a project, is playing in the "Composition book of Unwasted Paint" (I also have a mini and a steno-book of unwanted paint. I can't take credit for it, I got the idea from @cathand YEARS ago and she got it from someone else, if memory serves (maybe just the name of it ???) I've been happily doing it ever since. All paints: watercolor, craft paint, acrylics...it's all fair game. I've even used dirty paint water to dye paper and make happy mail envelopes in my " no scrap left behind" mission 😂🤣😂
