    Good stuff. I too thought you were taking the whole limb on that first one. A lot of work for one branch, but if they're paying...

      Yeah one limb, and I'm not sure it really made a big difference to that "view of the lake" ... still, a fun climb

      ​@@metaspencerA job is always more rewarding when you have a sense of accomplishment of a necessary task, especially when you risk life and limb. Payment is also a reward, so it wasn't completely unnecessary 😂

      I've been using Asolo boots for a while now especially for climbing -- they don't last forever but I haven't found a boot that does amzn.to/3vUw9ll

    any reason for not ascending using SRT?

      I mainly climb SRT but in this case I wanted to avoid doubling the load up top (small limb) due to a base/basal anchor. At the time I also kinda dreamed (wrongly) that I'd be able to keep all the rope out of the water if I didn't run up a cinching anchor.

      Not ported just dipped and opened up a bit on the exhaust end of things ... I love those little saws though man. Definitely my faves unless I need to cut bigger hard woods
