Nice work Spencer I don't think the ground crew deserves a bonus this year 😂
You said it buddy ... "no bonus!" has gotta be the motto :)
That “less expensive” mini track has been serving you well. Awesome 🙌👏👋🌳🌲
You said it ... that thing is a huge time saver and shows up ready to go!
Love watching someone who really understands what they do when you don't.
I like how you phrase that! :)
Let’s go, baby!!!
That was a lot of funky trees. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah lots of fun out there for sure
One man wrecking crew. That little yello devil did good pulling you out of a bite. Awesome work as always. Stay safe
Thanks buddy. Yeah, great to have that little machine on a job like that one
One last thing. Your haircut 💇♂️ is awesome.
haha ... kinda like a wildly trimmed hedge more than anything else :)
As someone who is just starting his tree business, i love watching your videos man. The mini skid is epic. May have to check it out!
Good to hear and good luck with that business! It’s gonna go great
On that first tree, when u cut that first notch cut and then leaned to the right to look at it, I thought I was falling out of the tree. Lol
Vertigooooooo!
Nice save dude. My heart stopped when that giant top sat back on you.😮😮😮
Yeah, that was not a good position to be in. Livin' and learnin' as they say. thanks man
Hello from the Netherlands.
thanks for the video Spencer .
Sincerely Hollandduck
I mean...does anything ever go according to plan ...🤣🤣🤣
Glad I'm not the only one!
You said it man. Gotta be ready for everything
Your work is inspiring. As a youth worker, there is simply too much work and society at times feels so rotten. I live in one of the most developed nations in the world and work in Cornwall one of the poorest areas in Europe. We spend millions on roads but can't spend a penny on supporting young people and poverty.
I love your work and how you inspire. Start with one and keep going patiently. Don't stop and eventually you'll end up with a result. One man can make a change.... but if you had a team with you then more change can happen. Thanks
Much appreciated mate! I spent a bit of time in Cornwall back in the '90s and really enjoyed the countryside. Hang in there!
Love it that top was a scratch situation. Let's go baby
Gettin' through is the only way to go :)
I see that this yellow devil is still working well.
Great job, greetings from Poland 👋🙂
Thanks buddy!!
big trees keep on fallin.. proud mary keep on callin... rolling... rolling.. rolling on the skid steer...
Awesome mate. Bsafe safe out there mate. 🙏
Thanks buddy!
Ground crew needs a good talking to. Lol great video man
When I find 'em I'll definitely have that conversation ;)
Great job as always Spencer, thanks for keeping us along for the journey!
Big thanks! Always a good time out there for sure
1 man Army. 💪👍
Yup yup!
Getting it done! Good on ye. 👍✌
Dropping trees and dropping hot new videos! Thanks meta! (from MN)
MN! good place you've got there!
Glad this video popped up. I was looking forward to more videos that included the Proyama 68 in action and presto.... here it is. Good to see you are still putting it to good use.
Still waiting on mine to ship..., still getting excuses as to why it hasn't...
too bad about that slow shipment! yeah, it's a pretty decent saw, especially for the price
Great channel, Spencer. Keep up the good work
Thanks buddy!
Nice job spenc.. sweet lil property.
Thanks buddy. yeah, it was a really quiet, nice spot in the woods for sure
Wow!! That's a lot of work. Sure glad you didn't have to haul all that away. Congrats!!
You said it ... so great to leave material on site
No clean up, favorite kind of job!
You said it ... so nice to keep it simple that way
@@metaspencer For sure!
Great job. You certainly earned it today......
Thanks buddy. Good times out there for sure
Ahhhhhhhhhhh my friend Thank God for the yellow submarine... Now we just have to work on getting you a chipper😂😅
Be careful what you wish for ... I'm renting one for a few weeks for an upcoming job that is just tooooooo big to haul off
Enjoyed the video. I'm sure that was a fun job. Limb them, top them and fell'em. Nice work.
Yeah, I wish they all were like that :)
Hey Spencer, nice job. That was quite a days work. Has the ash kill picked up? You seem to be doing a lot of those lately
Soooooo many ash jobs lately. Great firewood for sure. I had to leave the ones on this job, which was kind of a bummer
Let's get this man to 100k subs!
Sounds like a good round number! :)
Bro. That top bail out…. Go higher and cut the back weight off. You need to KNOW where that’s going before you make the cut. God bless
Exactly man. Got lazy and in a rush. You said it
Beast!!!
Woot! it's been great seeing your jobs lately man
@@metaspencer you should come to the redwood rec climb next year
@@jeffschroeder9089 that would be so cool ... the vid made it look like A BLAST to get up in those beasts
What a waste to leave them rotting when u can make lumber out of them.... some looked really straight too. Funky stuff be firewood ofcoarse.
Absolutely man -- it sure would be nice to mill up that pine
Piece of carrot cake . 1:35
sounds yummy
Good work Spence! Curious where did you get those suspenders?
Thanks! They're just a pair of tool belt suspenders ... I'm pretty sure this one: amzn.to/45vTSFh
you should show some knots like the one you did for moving parts of the top of the tree so you didnt have to get out of the tree!
Yeah that makes sense -- gotta have some good knots out there for sure! I tend to use these the most: bowline, running bowline, alpine butterfly, and then the hitches (clove, timber, etc)
Awesomeness. 14th view. Lol.
As always another high quality vijayo
14! thanks for the support man
❤️👍👍👍
Good work with your 1 man army
Ten-hut! :) thanks man ... good times out there
Missed your videos brother.
Thanks man. Much appreciated
@metaspencer I recently got laid off 2 months ago and because watching you and other you tubers I followed my heart and what I enjoy. Started my own business landscaping/tree removal/hauling. God has truly blessed me. Thank you for your content.
@@justinsigmon1878 Exciting! Sometimes bad news (like being laid off!) can turn into an opportunity! hang in and be patient ... building a biz takes a while. You've got this!
That Echo tophandle is an awesome little machine eh?! Is yours ported?
yeah it's a great saw -- awesome power to weight ratio. I've got a couple: one is 3/8 and the other 1/4 pitch. both have opened up mufflers but no porting or timing advance. I use them on most climbs unless I need more power and chain speed
nice, i had a 150 nicked so bought a 2511, i think they did me favour! @@metaspencer
Love it man! Any ch ace you would share how much you charged?
It was a good job -- nice climbs for sure. As for the price I tend to bid jobs based on the daily rate for the business x estimated days of work
@@metaspencer thanks friend! that makes sense. It’s been a difficult learning curve this past year being on my own. Estimating is tough.
@@jeremybrassard5966 Yeah it's a hard part of the job. Send me an email if you want to see one of my older estimator documents -- it's hard to consider everything, but eventually you get the hang of it
Nice. What decender is that?
It's actually a belay device from Petzl, the GriGri ... I like it on some climbs because it's locked in place and doesn't slip
On a job like this would you show an itemized quote for each tree or just one lump sum?
It depends on what the customer wants and if I’m willing to do it in parts. I’ll go both ways. In this case I broke it down into four worksites, each of which had several treea
My buddy would have tossed that saw...😂. Excellent work as usual. 💪
haha ... gotta save the saw! :)
How many hours on the mini skid now? Any issues
Not too many under 100 but daily use and works well
Was all that one day?
Looked that way! but no, 3 days and a morning :)
@@metaspencer good I was worried… for myself being so slow and for your health! I think I’m going to get a mini skid with a log grapple, have you thought of getting one for your unit?
❣️❣️❣️🙏
@@laneherrlinger7478 yeah I have a grapple but don't use it much. It's good with branches but I kinda prefer the simplicity of the bucket with my little machine.
Nice job Spencer. Has Melissa got that wood shed filled up yet?
HIGH anxiety 🫨. I will give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
5 Stars! Woohoo!
