I have a massive 3ds collection along with a couple of imports and beyond the labyrinth was always on my radar. I'm currently going through my collection at random to at least play every game.
Beyond the Labyrinth always stood out so I'm surprised by how mixed it is. The gameplay when it gets good sounds fun. But man that beginning sounds like a slog, I appreciate you mentioning it gets better because I can see myself dropping it. Overall pretty good review, it’s cool seeing how indepth you go with the positives and negatives. It feels like you gave a pretty comprehensive breakdown and it was interesting.

Enjoyed OST snippets in video while feeling that it's something familiar.. Turns out it's Motoi Sakuraba who created OST for Dark Souls year earlier. Love that rhythmic almost trance inducing piano!

Hey, while I love the video, I am unsure if the scans being paywall locked is a legal thing. I mean the scans/buying off the secondary market in general aren't, but they are way more enforceable if you are actively saying hey pay me for these types of things. It's actively trying to make money off of tri-ace's intellectual property. Plus from a moral point, it's been over a decade, that stuff should be free since it's actively not able to be bought anymore. But regardless of that, I do suggest you take it off the patreon, even if you don't upload the scans for free. Also your video has made me want to actually finish the game. I was as you said and dropped it during the first few hours.

You're right. Took them off paywall and put them on internet archive. I'd been thinking of doing that for a bit and this comment made me decide to do that.
