I bought a surface laptop 7. It's fine.. I don't game. Bit I do photo and video editing. I was looking at maybe a i9 14500HX. Adobe lightroom classic does not install. But the other version does work.
I would be interesting and very usefull to make this ARM machines compatible with eGPU
Adobe After Effect, and most of other adobe programs should work without emulator before I think about switching my Hardcore RTX 3070 TI laptop
Am looking the AMD simplicity from 7000 series
It’s crazy they got Temu Moby to review this laptop!
Windows on arm: been out for 7 years
Mac OS on arm: been out for 4
Windows on arm needs to catch up and still in a mixed bag.
Hmm 🤔🤔🤔
You should have waited for Lunar Lake
You may go back to intel with their 200v chip just recently launched
Thanks.
Total honesty
I think that in 3 years , x86 will come to the power efficancy of arm today. After that , i really dont care for more than battery and performance .
Let‘s see what Lunar Lake is capable of …
Now run GrapheneOS on it
I'm looking at 16" framework with AMD board and GPU
We have bought 3: a Surface Laptop, a Surface Pro and a Samsung Book4 Edge. All 3 run flawlessly for what we need in our company: MS office, a few other MS tools, Java, OpenVPN, and of course non-professional apps such as Spotify. No restrictions so far compared to our Intel and AMD notebooks, but unheard battery life, no heat and no fan noise.
i feel like intel or amd are lobbying against this as much as they can until they can compete in the arm space.. these pcs of today are incredibly powerhungry and im looking forward to getting rid of them.
I'll wait on official reviews, but I think Lunar Lake will make those snapdragon laptops pointless.
Not really.. They will be better than other intels but not ecough
seeing lunar lake processors beat the x elite in battery life and actual efficiency in many workloads.... i say windows on arm is already dead
Why not just do game streaming 🤷♂️
You released this 2 days ago without mentioning Intel Core Ultra 2 (Lunarlake), that actually retake the crown in efficiency, battery life, and performance at the same time, without the compatibility and gaming issues. This one reaches stores in a week! It's a no brainer!
Allegedly. Wait for 3rd party reviews.
@@Workaholic42 reviews are out. It is actually efficient
Really light
I do care about my laptop battery. I am from Ukraine and I am highly worried that the next winter will bring more power outrages😢
That's why I am considering Snapdragon X. For games I have my AMD desktop or Steam Deck
cool controllor
Recall. Recall Recall Recall Recall.
Recall.
Should I stay out should I go 🎶🎵🎵🎵🎸🎹
If I go, there will be trouble!
@@AndroidAuthority And if I stay it will be doubleee 🎸🎵🎶
Main profit is the battery, buy Intel ultra 200 series, battery performance the same , compatibility and gaming . I see no reason to buy Qualcomm Arm windows pc.
So, it's an arm wrestle.
I am a Windows user for many many years. Until I got my hands on a Macbook Pro M2 and i really want to ditch Windows 11 completely.
I am rooting for Snapdragon processor based PC's but not interested with bloated Windows 11 going on the run.
I have not used an Apple MacBook laptop so I cannot say if I would like the experience over Windows 11. But since I have upgraded to Windows 11, it has become one of my favorite Windows Operating Systems. The seamless hardware and software integration is the best I have experienced ever for business, productivity and entertainment. I have over time migrated my various Windows and Android mobility products to Samsung Galaxy and the experience has been absolutely excellent. I now understand the Apple attraction of everything just working together seamlessly as I have with my Samsung Galaxy Book to Tab to Ear Buds to Watch to SmartMonitor to Smartphone and more. Samsung Galaxy makes me so much more productive with all the features, software and services offered. As of now I do not think I could ever leave the Samsung Galaxy line of products.
@@johnmartin8481 I completely agree with you on Samsung. I am an Android user since 2011 something, I still don't want to use an iPhone.
I am trying to move off Windows 11. Alternatives are Mac and Linux. By the way how MS is forcing adverts and making all online for some reason makes me move toward Mac. Otherwise, of course Windows is good.
@@TimVels Well best luck to picking what works for you. I am curious to which you decided on and why.
