12:15 this part shows how little i know about archviles compared to ZeroMaster, the mad man didn't even strafed he just went back a few pixels when my whole brain said "you are going to get zapped". I mean we all have done things like that in the past, but i have see so many instances of this trough out the whole Sunders series that makes me thing: What a beautiful Doom-wired of a brain Zero has. Little strong on the NerdLove in here.

They are infighting so there is a chance you wont get zapped, but is always quite a gamble as you can in theory get zapped all across the map if he is aiming at you, or the monster he was attacking suddenly died...to avoid these chances most players get away from the range of sight he just...moved backwards a tiny bit.
Pretty sure what happened here is that the knockback from the rocket pushed the Arch-Vile out of LOS. You can do that to move other monsters that take splash damage.
@@Fillduck archviles move very fast, and he also needs 2 create space between him and his rockets so he doesn’t take splash dmg while also anticipating their movement
The guy that created this map knows a lot about how the old Doom works, in terms of challenge. If you don't know how to cause infight you can't play most of it, you can learn with Zero Master if you don't know. This is quite possible the best map I have ever seen on any mega wad. House of Corrosion isn't just well designed, it also looks quite beautiful. Whoever did this and the music deserves lots of love and a big thankyou.
@@cybergothika6906 Babylon chimera is pretty cool and very freak in term of design, i'll play the wad using the zion v8 mod (doom 2016) and its a blast unfortunately in some levels the counts are too high with the new monster of the wad and lags very much, a shoot of a bfg clean almost everything, after that you can continue the game. overall the wad it's very good.

Поиграв и побегав немного по картам, я понял, что почти на каждой карте есть лазейки, облегчающие прохождение. Например, на некоторых уровнях можно далеко убежать от монстров. На других есть огромные пространства, где вы просто можете бегать до тех пор, пока все друг друга не перебьют. Иногда встречаются моменты, где для того, чтобы монстры начали к вам телепортироваться, вы должны выстрелить, чтобы они вас услышали, или когда происходит закрывание комнаты с монстрами, вы можете с помощью багов и хитростей оказаться вне этой комнаты. Поэтому, иногда вы заранее можете занять выгодные для вас позиции. Но чтобы это всё использовать, это нужно хорошо знать каждую карту. Рекомендую играть, используя лёгкий и не требовательный порт, например woof или dsda-doom, так как на них данный wad работает стабильно и показывает хороший fps. На продвинутых портах, типа gzdoom, на больших картах неизбежны небольшие просадки, особенно, если у вас не современный и слабый компьютер. I'm curious, Mr. Gazebo : after watching this (yet again) incredible performance by Zero Master, and since Sunder is still in development, would you consider applying changes to these maps to prevent runners from defusing (too many of) your traps ? I'm thinking of increasing the delay before the switch gets revealed at 4:42 for instance. On one hand, it's always both funny and impressive to see how speedrunners find exploits to improve the times and (sometimes) drastically reduce the danger level of a given map, but on the other hand, if too many major fights get bypassed like that, wouldn't it deter too much from the intended experience and make the map too easy ? By the way, this is one of my favorite maps in Sunder. Love that ominous teal/brown theme, and the vicious close-quarter traps :) Excellent work once again.

Zero Master, how about doing a Dimensions play through ? Recently that Wad has received a lot of attention from top doomers, specifically considered as the toughest doable wad, so fans might really want to see that how ZM tackles it.
Man, I just love the design of this map. I decided to play Sunder a few months ago (Pistol Start, UV, 100%) and I have just started playing MAP04. Can't wait to play THIS one.
I'm waiting for the cyberdemon to fire at me so that the revenants will walk into the rockets and fire back at the cyberdemon, then the cyberdemon will target them.

When I play first time sunder maps, especially 15, 18, 20 -I just ask myself: How? How did he [insane gazebo] create it?? When I see zeromaster's run I feel similar: how??? How does he play like this?
Playing sunder as a old doom vet. I see that zero master has a great understanding of the doom AI. As well as good reflexes. Its as if he can predict the path of the demons. I took me 15 mins to beat the first level.
What a map full of action for an Elite Player full of energy! You went straight rampaging at full speed frenetically from the start to the very end. You think you could improve your time here even better?
Why? They are two different players with different styles and goals. Why should decino become like Zero master? Should Zero master become like decino and do blind runs with commentary? The fact that Doom applies to players with completely different styles is a thing of beauty.
There is no way. Agree with me or not but one does not become a TAS runner or any runner from just playthroughs. There are many years of just starting up the game and attempting clear runs on speed rather than just play for fun. Experience could change decino but that's the point, experience in just play-throughs ain't gonna do it.

Amazingly creepy and claustrophobic map, using cold marble and the snotfalls music to max effect.
Though it feels like this music only belongs to that one certain map, for me..yknow. I do love it though, and this map looks beautiful

i think the 'challenge' with this map is that there are a lot of tough fights in small spaces, as opposed to huge spaces with huge numbers

In doom.wads map 15 usually has a secret exit (which he took in the last level) that leads to map 31, then to map 32 and then to map 16.
