Definitely stumbled on your channel from the 3800 molten review. I have a fake GG7X but it plays okay. I bought a 3800 for when the fake craps out. Mainly play indoors. Great channel!

I’m Looking at getting a molten 3800 or 4500 to hoop with at the gym? I want something different other than the typical Spaulding and Wilson’s. Which one is better for indoor game play do you feel if you’ve tried both?
I have a 3800 and I would say it's great for outdoor play. You can use it indoors, but I wouldn't suggest it. The 4500 I've only used a couple times through a friend of mine and it's actually really nice. Feels a little smaller than 29.5, but it has a nice feel and consistent bounce indoors.
Its hard to find reviews on molten! Here in cancun molten is a favorit. I only play outdoor and let me tell you that in 10 yrs ive never played with a better ball. I recently got scamed on some fakes. They are trash for out door use. However word on the streets is that some of them turn out to bee good balls. Im give them another try( not the gg7x). Ill be getting the bg5000 and bg 4500 next week. I hpoe they turn out good! Keep putting out good content on outdoor balls! Gracias

That’s the funny thing about the fakes, is sometimes it ends up being a really good basketball. I love the G series basketballs from Molten but I can't tell what's real and what's fake these days. I would choose the BG unless you feel like the source you're getting the GL from is legit.

You post some really good content and I thought Id just leave a little suggestion; maybe you could film some footage in the gym when using the balls you review? @@Love2Hoop I'd prefer not to buy fakes. Cuts into the profits of the real company. Crappy fake products further erode the credibility of the company. Then maybe Molten goes out of business? How is that a good thing? If the Chinese want to make a cheap decent basketball I'm all for it. Just don't make it a fake.
@@ziyad5254 I got a gg7x as well before. All letterings should be printed including the bar code. If it’s debossed, it’s fake like what’s majority in the market now. Not a fan of gg7x though.
To be honest it looks more like a GG7 than a GL7 when you look up close, the material being the big tell. Taking it outside today so we’ll see if it’s a real indoor or an in/outdoor

Clean it! Wipe it down with a wet rag when it starts to get like that and after it dries it'll get back to how it's supposed to feel. That initial protective layer is just coming off.
I bid u the gg7x rep is exactly the same as this glx7 rep. They just printed different models on the same ball. Real gl7x looks nothing like that. I thought of getting some fake ones but then realized I’m gonna have way too many balls. So I just stick with the real balls for now.
@@ME-xj9dy I honestly don’t know where to buy it in the US because MoltenUSA doesn’t have it anymore. Amazon has it but I don’t know if its real or fake. Other countries like Japan or Philippines might still have it in Molten authorized stores. Or u take a chance with the Amazon, $35 is not too bad.
@@EverythingBasketballs Unfortunately all the G series molten balls were also phased out in PH, most of the G series that are being sold are usually the fake ones
The fake molten isn't bad the logos are just bad and fade easily but the leather feels pretty even. However on outdoors the best budget ball I found was the NBA street phantom has insane grip for being a rubber ball.

See that’s crazy, you’re the second or third person to tell me they got a knockoff Molten and it still plays well. That real 3800 is sweeet

on my wilson evolution I have like one of those rips couldnt figure out what it was.
The metal edge on the top of the backboard hit mine and that's how it happened.
Picking up a bg5000, obviously a different lineup but nice to see a few things to look out for!
That 5000 is the top of the Molten food chain.

Yea don't buy fakes. The material is shit. Rips and starts tearing, fraying and just gets destroyed pretty quickly.

I'm always iffy about full rubber basketballs, I just can't seem to get the bounce right whether dribbling or shooting off the backboard.
