    Hello bro,I am a beginner at basketball and started learning from your 5min tutorial.1 problem I mostly face is that whenever i go for layup the opponent defense blocks me because there are 2-3 defenders under the 3 point line.Can you give some tips about how to get across and score a clear goal

    • @tylerwaxman6366
      @tylerwaxman6366 Год назад +1

      Before you go for the layup look how many defenders their are. If there is three defenders under the basket fake them into a layup and then pass it out for an open three or midrange. You can also always catch and shoot

    Thoughts on weighted ball shooting or weighted ball layups. I was doing weighted ball layups and not my shot is funky but I was wondering if that’s a normal thing

    • @undermanmm2405
      @undermanmm2405 Год назад +1

      Work on your mechanics first before weighted balls, I feel like if you have amazing mechanics your shots should be smooth as butter

      @RavensYessir150 is not nearly enough shots, not even trying to put you down. but 500-600 whenever you go to workout is enough to start that muscle memory

    Is it normal to shoot differently when you’re in the mid range vs 3 point line?

    • @Leone2K2006
      @Leone2K2006 9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes definitely, because you need more power from the 3 point line so your form will change to compensate

    • @HaVoCcHoPpErS99
      @HaVoCcHoPpErS99 6 месяцев назад

      @@Leone2K2006I’ve heard that your arm movement should remain consistent but your legs can jump higher to create more power. Legs for power, arms for arch and aiming

    Idk why people sleep on midrange game nowadays? In my area its only me who had a midrange game since everyone attacks the rim or shoot 3s and thats it.
