Less chance of injuring yourself as well, even though the point of training wood dummy is to master technique not your hitting power. There would be no point if it moved freely all the way around as that is not what this type of dummy is used for in any way. Long story short the dummy is supposed to mimic the arms and legs of a human so you can practice forms. This is not a punching bag
