Back in 2013 I was screaming "Caaaaged!" at the top of my lungs, now in 2022 I'm screaming "cliiiiiimbing!" at the top of my lungs. I guess some things don't change!
Feel bad for people that haven’t discovered or have chosen to not like Coheed. No other band gives me those feelings. Feels like a secret that would blow peoples minds
The only other band or musical project that comes close to Coheed for me is Ayreon. Those albums are full blown rock operas, but they kinda cheat because they use a bunch of different vocalists. If you like Coheed and this song I would definitely recommend listening to Ayreon’s The Source.
@@JacobMinger Good suggestion. I agree The Source should be the intro album for any new Ayreon listener. Pretty much all of Arjen's work is amazing though.
I have not listen to Coheed and Cambria since Welcome Home, I now see I have 10 years of catalogue to catch up on and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for doing this track and getting me back onto the Coheed train.
The intro to this song reminds me SO MUCH of the Key Entities. The same grit and grind carries through the three albums. I don't see how people think these aren't classic Coheed. The melodic lines are sown together so nicely.
Thank you for reacting to this! I have been listening to this album since it was released, but I didn’t really focus enough on this song and now it’s probably my favorite from the album! So so good!
I am addicted to love murder one right now. Truly one of the best albums that I’ll ever hear in my lifetime. I’ve been passionate about music my entire life and for this to be so impactful to me just shows how amazing they are. Will Be one of the albums I remember forever
I have now reacted to all of the tracks that were released when the album came out. I didn't do reactions to the pre-release tracks since I heard them already. Also I gave my full album thoughts track by track on a video podcast yesterday that will be up soon.
1:58 it's funny that you mention that. Claudio mentioned somewhere that Ladders was supposed to be the opener for Vaxis I, but It needed more time in the oven. Loving the album and the reactions!
Never thought of the Dark Sentencer vibe going. But that Queen of the Dark set up definitely leaves one to see what Claudio was getting at. I love it!!!
ive really enjoyed listening to this album with you man i dont have many friends that are into Coheed so its been cool to see your reaction i agree the whole album is a banger
I will be your friend who likes Coheed. I recently got to see them live. They’re so damn good live. This was the last song they played that night. It’s so damn good.
Just came across your channel, prepping to see them live for the first time (yep you read that right lol). As a middle aged BW, Ive been a fan of C&C since Welcome Home (thank you Rockband game and that movie it was in). I FINALLY get to check them off my concert bucket list!! This album is AMAZING, like real tears while listening amazing imo. I appreciate you sir 🙌🏽
It's a grower, fellow Fencebros. The album is a G R O W E R. 👌 How good is the bass on the whole album though? It's got some Second Stage levels of bass slap.
ive come to the conclusion that this album to me is like if prize fighter inferno and coheed and cambria had a baby lol not that thats a bad thing tho .....
@@KHZ1986 Thank You Scientist actually toured with Coheed and played with them in the song "Number City". I don't care for that sound much myself though.
Yeah, I actually had to take out Bad Man and put it into my Prize Fighter Inferno folder because it feels so out of place. Outside that, the album is amazing.
Shoulders was my favorite track on this album, but out of all the new songs this was sure my favorite. Claudios vocals are top notch and the guitar work is some of the best in their entire discography here.
When you listen to this album in order it builds so well from Embers of the Fire - Window of the Waking Mind it’s kinda ridiculous. There isn’t a single song on this album that I want to skip, when after repeated listens.
This is something like their 10th album now and it's phenomenal from start to finish. Few bands can produce so much amazing music beyond maybe four albums. These guys are in a class all by themselves.
Love this new Album! I love how Claudio and the boys take us on a new adventure. If you haven't hung out with Claudio on Twitch you need to. Every Wednesday 5pm East claudiopsanchez 🤘😉
This song is classic Coheed. This album is fantastic from start to finish imo.
I still haven't listened to it all but so far it is a Masterpiece.
That's not an opinion that's a FACT. 😁
I got the new album and just went “which songs are the longest” and started there. Huge willing well vibes from Good Apollo 1. Love it.

You've missed a LOT!!
That high note in the chorus always gets me

Agreed. They have just built a ton off of that platform and it is glorious.
Death and rebirth baby🎃

That transition into ‘Rise, Naianasha (Cut the Cord)’ is also fantastic
That transition is CRISP 🔥
It's smooth as butter
🔥
It’s absolutely seamless. If I didn’t already know it was a separate track, I would have assumed it just went from there.
I love this album so much! I’m already giddy with anticipation for Vaxis pt 3
I will take it now.
That was crunchy man. Love the breadth of metal you are covering.
I appreciate it!

Aye, Love Murder One my instant favorite. Stuck in my head for days.
Love Murder One is also my fav ❤️
Me too, LM1 is the standout for me. Such a tune.
Can't wait to react to that one.
❤
Ice Nine Kills - The Shower Scene
That’s one band I’ve heard of, but never listened to. Maybe it’s time I give ‘em a listen
Glad to see some brothas like Coheed!
Damn right!
Bro. Love the reaction. Just do the entire album reaction.
I have now reacted to all of the tracks that were released when the album came out. I didn't do reactions to the pre-release tracks since I heard them already. Also I gave my full album thoughts track by track on a video podcast yesterday that will be up soon.

Immediately thought dark sentence when I first heard this one
😁🔥🤘
I'd love to see your reaction to Disappearing Act.
It's coming.

Bro I reacted exactly like you. Song is so amazing. I love this band
This band is and always will be simply amazing.
This was great! Love finding another true Coheed fan brother!
Thank you!
Bad Man, plus its concept art is amazing to listen to. Hope you add that to the list, too.
Done!

Welcome aboard! I just got home from seeing them. One of the best shows I have seen from them in over a decade!
Great work Cafe Trey
Much appreciated
It's a grower, fellow Fencebros. The album is a G R O W E R. 👌
How good is the bass on the whole album though? It's got some Second Stage levels of bass slap.
Right! The bass was kicked up more than a few notches.
Bad Man for sure by C&C...it is so different
It's on the list!
Also the intro guitar kinda gave me The Final Cut from Good Apollo volume 1 vibes
We all got that vibe 😉

It also feels like they borrowed a little bit from Thank you Scientist.

I really love The Liars Club. I crank it in the car every time it comes on.
Big Between the Buried and Me vibes on that intro
Hmmm. Didn't think of that but it does make sense.
Just wait until he finds out the Afterman is in this story.
I can't wait.
great content man! #COTF
Thank you!
louder please 🙏 👏 🙌
do embers of fire!!
I am going to try to get to all of the new album's tracks besides the pre-release tracks that I already heard.
I cannot express to you how much I freaking LOVE Embers of Fire. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
Man, this song reminds me of The Final Cut
Right!
That wasn't a fill it was the bass pedal. Crazy right lol Josh is the man. Uses 1 pedal only
He uses 1 pedal and 1 open mouth. That is the trick
When you listen to this album in order it builds so well from Embers of the Fire - Window of the Waking Mind it’s kinda ridiculous. There isn’t a single song on this album that I want to skip, when after repeated listens.
I agree. This is one of, if not the most "The End" complete albums they have put out yet.
This song is mind-blowingly epic.
At this point Coheed would have to go out of their way to release something mediocre.
They set the bar way high with this one.
Would love to see your reaction to either love murder one or beautiful losers
Maybe one day when the clock reads 21:13....
😂
