i hated these guys for a month straight than they turned into my favorite for 20 years. Claudios voice hits like a truck when you get used to it you start to see the beauty in it.
Thats what Prog Rock does. It Simmers, it takes you places.

Fellas do yourselves a favor when you get a chance and really listen to the bass from the end of the first chorus through the second verse with your audio set to really showcase that bass guitar. Trust me it makes the song feel so much different if you really dig rhythm and bass guitar, but the bassist OOZES his notes over that verse ✌🏽
Just found your channel. Love your take on my favorite band! This whole album is very unique and it would make a great entry point. You gotta react to the title track, Window of the Waking Mind. It's a modern day bohemian rhapsody
you should go check them live, such a sick concert every time 🤘🏻🔥🍻 and yeah Claudio made “The Amory Wars” graphic novels to go with these, it’s pretty wild
All of their albums except one (The Color Before The Sun) follows The Amory Wars. Comics have been released for the first 3 albums with No World For Tomorrow in the works.
All the albums are the same story and all have a "comic book" or some companion that goes with it, expect for The Color before the Dawn.

Hate comic books. Love Coheed since 2003. Middle records took me a bit to understand, but I like all things Coheed
I don't see how anyone could dislike claudios voice that's absolutely absurd. Coheed is one of the best band from the last 3 decades. They hav non stop bangers. And I'm not being biased I'm serious choose a song and tell me why you don't like it because I doubt you could.
Don't shoot the messenger here, but there are a ton of people that dislike this band solely because of his voice. It's extremely polarizing and not everyone can vibe with it. Those that dislike it will call it "poppy" and "whiney" and "too emo". I like Coheed, just letting you know that a lot of people don't like his voice... and that's ok, not everyone likes the same thing, you don't need to "see how" anyone else perceives anything. Tastes are tastes.
