When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.

I am very new to Co&Ca, but from what I have heard, this was not unexpected. I do feel that it is part of a bigger story (which apparently it is - thanks Josh), but it does well on its own. I look forward to hearing more from them.
BTW, I had a bet with myself as to how long it would be before you mentioned Sleep Token. You left it right to the end, but you didn't let me down!

I have a Coheed keywork tattoo, love them. Like a lot of concept albums, the tracks sound better in the context of the whole album. Good to see a reaction 👌

It sounds like the large and long seventies (prog) rock anthems. I've been a long time Coheed fan, but for me (personal opinion alert), their more recent work is missing the posthardcore-y hooks.

Listen to the album through and the song will make much more sense with its "fit" but i do agree with you. Also true with your comment on layers... everytime i re-listen to a Coheed song there some bass line or drum fill I've never noticed before. There's a lot going on in a Coheed song that warrants a relisten.

Hi! Just found your channel and I really liked your insights after the song! Seems like you ACTUALLY listen to all of the elements, and I can appreciate not pausing to stay in the "flow". I was looking through your channel and was wondering, do you take recommendations? Again, love the video!

Thanks very much for saying so! Glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, I absolutely take recommendations and requests. I send them on to my brother who will listen first and give it a yay/nay for a reaction recording effort. Fire away 👍🏻

@@SteveOGRock Awesome, sound good man! I was going to suggest just about anything from Hail The Sun, though if you need specifics then I would say Parasitic Cleanse, Anti-Eulogy, Missed Injections, or if you want something much newer they just released a few singles. My favorite of those is Under The Floor, but there really aren't any wrong answers with HTS haha. Thanks for the response, fingers crossed I see 'em on the channel soon!

I know that it’s a fan favorite off the newest album, but I always found it a bit lackluster. Lots of ideas thrown together.
As you said, it’s busy and has lots of building, but the release at the end isn’t really satisfying for the length of the song.
Too many ladders, too little supremacy.😅
