材料 :
大头菜 30克
花肉 250克
黑木耳 适量
马蹄 适量
调味 :
盐 少许
白糖 少许
胡椒粉 少许
水少许
木薯粉 少许
Ingredients (Diana Aw)
1. Chinese root mustard 50g (can use twice) Wash and soak in water for 30min, then diced
2. Black fungus 1pc, diced
3. Water chestnut 1pc, diced
4. Pork belly 250g, diced and chopped
Seasoning
1. Salt little
2. Sugar little
3. Tapioca flour
4. Fragrant oil little
5. Water little
Method
1. Combine all the ingredients in a big bowl and add salt and sugar. Mix using hand in circular motion. May add little water at a time if too dry.
2. Add tapioca flour and mix well. Then add fragrant oil and mix well
3. Transfer to a plate and flatten it. Sprinkle some pepper and poke the pork using chopsticks
4. Once water has boiled, place in the pork and steam for 15min under high heat.
5. Garnish with some spring onion
6. Serve and enjoy! 💕

My childhood food. Most Cantonese families feed their children this simple healthy dish. This pork dish is steamed on top of just cooked rice . When the rice is cooked, so is this steamed pork .

I had this 大头菜蒸豬肉at a restaurant but it was steamed in a mini claypot over rice. All the meat juices seeped into the rice and it was so delicious!
