- With the release of the all new Br4, many people are asking "why?".
Here, we dive into that a bit. Simply put, we want as many people to be able to express their Right to Bear Arms as possible, including those that live in more restricted locations.

“We saw other companies making similar designs, so we decided to cash in on that market, too.” 😂 Honestly, it looks really cool!
BR4 is the cheapest option
@@outlaw8388 In what world? Foxtrot mike Ranch lower plus 16" upper is just shy of 900 bucks, Don't lie.
The American way! Rebel!
god bless you guys!!!
This BR4 begging for a folding skeleton stock🎯
The whole point of this is for restrictive states. They literally don't allow folding stocks, lol
@@protoman1214but non restrictive states should absolutely do that though!
6.5 grenny!!!! I wish I had money to buy one!
Thank you from NY!
You're one of the 3 states, brother
No br4 for you!!!
New York here too 😢
We're working on an option for you!
@@CMMG based on what I see the only issue would be if it can accept a muzzle device. If it can’t it’s good. That’s what I was told when trying to buy the Sig regulator.
There’s now a non threaded barrel one 🔥
yep!
I’m in a free state and I’d buy one.
As a left handed person it’s already set up for the way I change magazines anyway.
Innovative and very tempting, but also very expensive. Particularly when comparing to a standard style AR with something like a Maglock or grip fin. Price needs to be closer to $1200 or less before I would consider.
Foxtrot Mike can get it to you for 900 bucks. might as well get the hiperfire trigger while you're at it. It's still way cheaper than the BR4.
It’s legal in 46 states now… you can thank Massachusetts for that one… you can make it 47 state compliant again if you release a non threaded upper 😬😬 New Yorkers will thank you
yeah, we're having fun looking at that now
Just ignore unconstitutional laws
Wow. Thanks for sharing. Very informative.
The 9mm option might be more popular than you expect - people might see that as a great training/self defense rifle for people with less ability to handle the flash and noise of a true rifle caliber, all while not relying on a dated rimfire based case.
9mmm over556, that crazy
@@kimmichaels899crazy enough for it to be an option though...soooooo yea for some, 9mm is a good fit .
Honestly, some of the older stock designs are more accurate or just more comfortable for people that are used to them. I'd have one just to have one. Lol
I LOVE how CMMG is always innovating. In a world where ARs are cookie cutter copies of each other, very few companies are actually innovating. CMMG is the best of them.
Given that the last time a manufacturer released a "ban state" rifle in only one color and only 2 caliber options and 1k more expensive? I'd day CMMG has a winner on their hands
Even though I live in California, I prefer more traditional stock setups anyway. I’m saving …
Understood. There are plenty of workarounds for you guys, this is just one option that works in more areas.
You have to break your shooting grip to hit that mag release button on the right..
That’s why you use your opposite hand and strip the magazine out.
hear me out: ak/g36 style mag release?
Oh no!
Only gonna grab one if I can get it in 30-06, chief.
Or 6.5 creedmoor
Or 300 win mag
Or 300 win mag.
Or .308
As Massachusetts adds hand guards to the list of “evil features” any device that surrounds the barrel of a rifle to allow someone to grip it without getting burnt. God I want to move out of this hell hole
.308 version please.. I would love to get one of these instead of a Springfield m1a.
Need a wood stock version.
A proper competition against the SIG MCX regulator.
It kinda looks like a Remington model 8 I think it would look good with wood furniture.
Looking good 👍
Should have been offered from the getgo with an unthreaded barrel. Most other states can comply more easily with limited feature ARs . NY,NJ Illinois will be fought for years in 0:02 court and could have used these first
4 calibers in non-threaded barrels this week!
Looks interesting- and looks an awful lot like something I saw just a day or two ago. Did a larger company completely rip this off?
I don’t see why it can’t be sent to Illinois we can get the fightlight scr and the sig regulator
This would be cool in 6.5 grendel
it exists
I mean I love it.. but is there something more affordable? Maybe a DI version under $1000??
please save us canadians too....we dyin up here
Can I pre-pay for the X 39 version that takes AK mags?
sign up for our newsletter and you'll be informed if/when it is available for order 😉
Please help make something compliant to the new Massachusetts laws soon!
This was good until the change. We've got a new version that is NY compliant and we are hoping to get it in MA. They're being a pain in the way they have some of the wording though. We're trying!
@CMMG greatly appreciate it.
i thought for a second it was a bolt action AR like Uintah uppers
When is the release date? Thanks!
They're shipping now
saying 'behind enemy lines' when referring to another state in the union is wild.
Non compliance is the only way
What are the 3 states where this would still be restricted?
Currently WA, IL, and NY. We're looking at options for two of them.
Any competent FFL will make this NY compliant, they’re already selling MCX-R here
@@jonathanbardunias1889 but there are also a surprising amount of FFLs that won't touch it too. Fortunately the NY version is close!
now there is a platform I would like to see in a 308
you know us... you shouldn't have to wait long 😉
any chance you guys can make a bare bones one for us poors?
When you do a 308/7.62x51, then I’d be interested. The whole platform screams.308 for the apocalypse type rifle. Now choose the caliber that it should be in. Functional, available, and useful. Calibers mentioned are cute, now make it in an actual working caliber that fits the design.
JIC
Does anyone know the physical reason why Washington state is prohibiting this rifle?
because they hate gun owners?
308 please
I hope they have it in 5.7x28.
We don't have the DISSENT in a 16" 5.7x28 yet.
"A more compliant firearm...." Not really a dissenter my man 👻
Thank you for making an AR that I can bring home to commiefornia during vacations!
Still can't own in AustraliaStan :-(
😫👎🇦🇺
Too expensive
If I lived in a commiebiaach state I'd prolly get one.
1st comment😅🎉
no just no. product like these just allows antigun states to go see you can still exercise your rights..
This is just disgusting 🤮 especially the marketing torwards infringement
You guys love making dumb crap
$1800 rifle or $12 fin grip. I’m behind enemy lines and would never buy one of these. I would buy a regular AR with a fin grip. Then I don’t need to deal with the expense and the proprietary hell.
Also, wtf? You’re about 10 years late. Ares (now Fightlite) made one of these back in 2014
As a Massachusetts resident We Appreciate getting Lowers we can buy, so we could get access to the Dissent uppers. Salute 🫡
