the passion they show is unreal. love this band

This is live, there is no lip syncing, I checked it in Final Cut Pro and Logic X. The audio on both tracks is different and does not sync up. This is a kick ass band and they sound pretty good live. The chorus matches up the closest out of everything else, but it is still different.

I was at this show (freakin' amazing!) and I got no feeling there was any lip syncing during the show, however I feel this was cleaned up some for release.

I seen these guys live in concert and they do not lip sync or whatever the heck you guys think they are doing. Brent is just an amazing singer and sounds like the album. Dont believe me? Check out Shinedowns walmart sound check

I don't think it's lip sinic, the bass is louder in the official video, the 'who do you think you are' has more volume and the tone and timing is sometimes a bit different.
Thom G all of that can be tweaked with even the Cheapest of sound equipment/software. the give away should be the studio recorded PERFECT pitch vocals, not to mention the screaming, which he wouldn't even have done in the middle of touring. Noone does that (that good) live. almost ever. if you've heard the recorded version, your mind will (should) make the connection

They sound the same live as they do in the music video
he doesn't mime at all. i think they have a backing track for the "effect" guitars and to make it a bit more full sounding. (you can hear it in the intro).

This was a live show... but because it's edited in a studio, only the producer knows how much tape he cut and left on the floor, then spicing the shit together just for the video. he probably did take a studio version dubbed it in.... It's just a fucking video, you can find a clip some where that is raw footage of a concert they did.
but I like the sound of a studio, but like watching them play. Watch Simple Man... That's raw video, what you see, what you hear, is what you get. and it's Excellent!!

so sorry i never saw this comment untill now shinedown plays th "orchestar" in the backround its a lot of the back round stuff that is played. they use it with all teh amirils songs off this record. th thing is that they play some of the main stuf to help them move around asier like at th beggining you see brent with the mic away from his mouth but hes singing he is gtting the crowed pumpd and letting the mechien do this but thats really all that it does is that one bit rest is them. they also had literaly just finished this album like 3 months before so they probably know it petty well
Saw these guys last night with kiss. They are are great live act and a great studio act but the sound guy distorted the band to the point of not being able to hear them properly :(
