Dibakar is too intelligent for most movie goers We are lucky he cracks on ! That was my comment.Thank you for your kind words Dibakar Thank you Nikhil Taneja and We Are Yuvaa for picking my comment
That "modern day Satyajit Ray" is my comment. Was randomly going through his interview, came across this interview, and all of a sudden, I see DB looking at the camera and calling my name. Had no idea it's me ( I had to cross-check my username at youtube to verify😂). Thanks for this amazing interview.
Not so easy to be Satyajit Ray no matter how brilliant Dibakar is - SR wrote, scripted, directed his films, gave music, did costumes and was inventing a language of movies from scratch while doing all of these things brilliantly
@dia606 That is so true
Now he's a feminist! Acknowledges equality and equity! Hats off to him.
This man is pure gold. And His films are simply fab ❤
Huge respect for DB! Stands his ground, doesn’t compromise his vision and doesn’t sell out. A rare breed of a filmmaker who I think is some sort of a purist who never gets enough credit for his envelope-pushing works. However, I refuse to agree that his films are “too intelligent”. That’s an unfair assessment. I think his films can work for a lot of people and not just those who claim to be aficionados.
To this day, I think, Shanghai is one of the most visually stunning films made in modern day India and it’s good to see DB continue to push the form in LSD 2!
This is a fantastic conversation. Loved it so, so much.
