Ive found slowing down a touch helps. Rushing to get speed and power ends up in mess and then over the top happens but closed face as rushed and big lefts...this looks super good to sync up and everything!
This is absolutely brilliant! Hooks and blocks are a problem, I now understand why and how to get my back to the target and produce my good shots more often ....... hopefully!
As someone mentioned earlier this is not a new drill. It might be a new to some, but through your way of reintroducing this drill it REALLY helped me today. Your understanding and presentation of this exercise really hit the mark for me! Thank you, much appreciated.
thanks, some of the best drills are the old ones :-) I dont remember much talk about the lower body when I was learning and watching golf back in the 80's and everybody seemed to quickly learn the game back then with no trouble. Quite the opposite now where there is a lot of lower body focus which I dont think is helping golfers. We learn to swing the club with the hands and arms first, then the body (lower body) responds to the swing, and then we learn to harness the forces we create from the swing, thanks
Hi. Off topic question in relation to the release. Im still pushing a lot of the shots with the gforce and watching my recording the club is really lagging behind. I have quite a wide swing and hinge my wrists way too late so my question is, should i be focusing on wrist set drills to help the release. I know in one of your previous videos you mentioned they will naturally hinge but mine dont and my trail elbow tends to get separated too much in order for me to complete my backswing. Im using the tour striker ball to help correct this but when using it my wrists just dont want to hinge at all Thanks
