30.5 is for torque and heavier cars or for higher demand surfaces like sand, tall grass, and muddy conditions. The 23cc would have a horrific time in higher demand areas or on a heavier car. The 23cc however is good for low to moderate surfaces and lighter bajas.
What gearing were they using? If they both had the same then that would be unfair to the 30.5cc engine as it has the ability to drive taller gears better which would make it the faster of the two.
The 23cc is a Zenoah G240, what engine is the 30.5? Was any work done to the zenoah, stuffed crank, porting etc... plus what tune pipes are on both cars. That all can make the world of a difference.
it's funny how people think a few more cc makes huge difference, maybe on paper. e.g., changing from a 26 to a 29.5 makes hardly any difference but a good tuned pipe gives loads of extra grunt.
things that could make a difference on this video: both cars use different pipes, jetpro's are awesome pipes for on road use gearing, not something i can point out on this video tuning again not something i can poin out but would be very useful if both had exactly the same tuning would be very useful if the cars had same features i could put a stock exhaust on my g290, race a 5t with a cy26 with jetpro, i would have my ass handed to me unless i used the same stuff, nice video though
The clutch needs to engage at a higher rpm just before wheelspin occurs. Otherwise the cars will take longer time to accelerate to full speed! Your statement about that the motors where "tuned on point" is therefor false, atleast for dragracing!
nope 30cc is tuned right, its just that 30cc only have a better acceleration and shit top end, whereas the 23cc has a good top end and slower acceleration compared to the 30cc
The Zenoah(G240) has alot more Top End(RPM) Range than the 30.5(Looks Like a CY Engine) yeah the 30.5 Has Way More Torque but on that other End The Zenoah gone kill it Every Time... Regardless Good Race Guys.
the 30.5 has shitloads more torque. Different motors altogether. For gravel, dirt etc the 30.5cc would be faster. Not to mention you can gear it taller for even more top end, something you cannot do on the 23cc as it'll bog
If you asked me I would say the 30cc to win but the proof is right here and the 30cc did sound like it was tuned good so fuck that other asshole saying different great vid man nice car. I got a king motor 23cc. And I know people say there junk but I'm puttin rpm arms and 30cc billet head engine, do you think there good let me know thanks man

Damn, so many clueless comments here,
Keep up the good work 5THSCALEFREAK
Maybe one day the rest will understand why and how ;)

both 5bs are running awesome
the baja 30 cc have better acelaration but then on top speed the 23cc wins...
the baja 5b ss is 26 cc. i no i have one, the stock baja is 23cc.

can i ask y would u have an ss with 23 nay aswell by the 5b 2.0
the slicks the 23cc had helped

Nitro engines are different - Baja uses a 2 stroke and the oil mix is mostly a smokeless oil ...

Just bought a esp full mod -g240 23cc, Way better than my stuffed gp290 30cc
If you put a teller gear on the 30.5 cc it would win.
sounds like someone is saying wwwwhhhhoooooooooooaaaaaa over and over again
looks like 30.5 cc gets the hole shot but the 23cc comes back in the end
"burnout" LMAO
I see you are from syracuse where abouts
What does "maiby" mean?
If you would have put a taller gearing on the 300.5cc it would have been better.....
My 2wd slash my dad bought me will destroy a 5t or 5b and its brushed with a some kind of gearing he put in it???

23cc is a 2hp engine and 15ft-lbs of torque
And the 23cc is less weight also
Gear....! 17 to 57 ????
Yes. Im Portuguese. My english is a bit rubish .

@5THSCALEFREAK what ever.
Maiby the 30cc was not tunned right.its the only explanation LoL
what about 26cc then ?
30.5cc what and what pipe?
Actually the tire @ tyre is spinning too hard and the 30.5cc dont have a grip..LOL..
I'm sure that my baja 23cc kicked both ass...
it needs a turbo
Well you clearly care enough to reply, did you mean "maybe"?
the 23cc wears foam wheels and the 30 not
Πέτρος Σκλαβ aaahhh they Both had rubber wheels.🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
so seems ike 23cc is the fastest waste of time and money with the 30.5cc then cheers
How whack! The 23cc obviously has bigger spur gear for high top end! Lame
clearly, you dont know how to build a motor then.
my baja 5b 30.5cc will beat ur baja anyday
