Thanks Clayton! We'll keep them coming 📸
2:28 why did the chicken cross the road? 😂
Great video, thank you! Very interesting to see these engines going head to head
🤣 5sec of fame 🐓
Awesome video my friend nice 😊 share good stuff on the life of a engine… good comparisons on the 23 vs 30.5 cc on the Rovan Great job thumbs up 👍
Appreciate it bud. Glad to share what I know.
Hi man. I've a Baja 5b bought from RCModelz.
It runs quite well to me (i'm not expert, but it doesn't seems too lean or too rich), it's equipped wit a 30.5cc stock Rovan engine.
The only little concern is on the starting-up the engines (from cold)
I need many attempts to do it, it does't make any difference if i'm helping with choke on/off, it's almost the same.
Last time, a my friend help me with a simple easy solution... He just pinched with the fingers the fuel line (the black one) and buum, with the line pinched the engine has started at the first attempt.
So... is it a sign of a rich low speed needle setting?
Good day. It seems like it could be 2 things. Either there is a carb tuning problem or the motor squish is too much.
I will do 2x things, apply my base carb setting as per my tuning video and I will take the cylinder off and remove the Rovan cylinder gasket. Put it back together with n thin layer of gasket maker. Look at my 29cc engine rebuild video.

Hi man. Please, can you share what are the basics setings for my carb? It's the one in stock with the 30.5CC Rovan.

Cool man
Thanks for the support
Thanks for your content I'm based in CT and can't seem to find 1/5 scale 2 stroke trucks or buggies ? I've been looking online at the rovan xlt 45 cc the D5 and the Losi dbxl 2.0 and I they all have their pros and cons
The xlt 45cc which will cost around R25k ? And then need to get it ported as I've seen you do on your channel and a decent pipe and in dollars that's a deep pocket reach just to get going ? Pls advise me do you have any nice 4wd trucks or buggies ready to race even 2nd hand or possibly build on a roller platform and put a decent engine in ? Can you even race the xlt what are the engine classes ? Thanks brother and keep em coming !!!
Good Day Wayne
So sorry for only getting back to you now.
The XLT is nice looking truck but not made for racing. Its a play Truck. The stock LT will out perform it by far.
I do think that the new D5 will out run all the other Rovan models and looking forward to getting one this year. Its built on the F5 chassis which is an excellent performer.
Keep our eyes out for a LT and run a 32 or 36cc. That will make you competitive.
@@EZR Hi Jeff from Eastside RC recommended the 30DN DTT 7 V 2 which comes stock with a 38cc Engine and conqueror pipe its basically a clone of the Zenoah g320 Just has 5 HP but the ports are the same actually the exhaust port on the Zenoah is slightly bigger so I'm going for that and will eventually get it ported and put a nice pipe on have you checked out KT performance racing ? He is actually selling a 38cc fully ported etc for 450$ but I'm going to run mine stock initially

@@EZR check out KT performance on the 38cc 30DN
The 45cc has torque, but the rpm speed is low, so I think it is necessary to change the gear ratio. The 32cc and 36cc motors have a skirt in the liner, so the horsepower is low, but the top end seems to stretch well.My 45cc motor is currently having trouble, so I would like to verify it as soon as it is fixed.
I've managed to test up to the Zen 30.5 thus far and I'll tell you. The new EZR modifications on the Rovan 32 and 36 is awesome.
Will show you guys soon
What about the 45cc Brovan ? Reed case mod
@@EZR when is the update coming?
@@bassheadlife492 I am sooooo ready to make more videos. Its been a roller coaster ride at the shop these last couple months. Hope to get back into videos in July
Well done your brilliant so is your channel i got one question if you could have only one engine/carb/reeds/exhaust/ for pure performance what would you choose
My personal favorite is a Zenoah 30.5 Full Mod with a 1107 Carb(Not modified) with the King Motor Ruler Pro Pipe.
Question what oil is good to oil air filter great vid 👍👊
I buy anything the gas station has available. Doesn't matter what it is.
Chique baja 🥰🤩🚗🏎💥💨🦾✌🏼👍🏻👏🏻📽👀
Thanks man. More coming soon!
Was that chicken a two stroke???
Uhm.... 😄 🐓💨
Why the hell those things are so slow?
The Rovan is poor manufacturing, where the KM I believe there is something wrong. I will strip and check it.
These motors scream faster than rovan 36cc by a mile dont know why but are rock solid.....smTSRC 35 cc and cheap yes 35cc
I'm looking forward to sharing the Rovan 32 results. Very surprising
Run it at 50/1 If your running good oil and fuel and a single ring You Will be Good to go. Not trying to be a know it all but the way you said to read the Spark Plug is 100% Wrong I dont want to give out bad Tuning info But randomly checking the spark plug is not how you read a Plug. High RPM and Cut it Off Pull the Plug Then read it. other wise your looking at a plug that has been run at low RPM and Fed more Fuel that will tell you very little. Not being a Dik just telling like it is thats the way to read a plug
Thank you so much for the feedback. I'll take this into consideration when shooting the next vid.
The one with 30.5cc engine is faster
I so wish I had 2 identical cars to run these tests. But it hey hopefully we get some idea of what they have to offer
