Wow that means a lot! Got to take your art out into the world. And, thanks for the music advice on the last video. As you can hear on this one I got it to work 😃
Hello, i found your channel becaise of your travel art supplies kit video. This painting is soo nice i love the sketchy feel of it :3 where is that place?
I've just found your channel and subscribed. I'm a traditional watercolorist, but lately have also taken on Urban Sketching. I use a waterproof ink , but notice you have some smearing. Is that something you like in your sketches.
Barbra Joan yes I do like some smearing, but it is also because this is 100% cotton paper. The noonlers ink does not bond as well with this paper as a mixed paper. I heard Carbon ink does a better job on the 100% cotton paper at not smearing
Hi Chris. Beautiful drawing. I was wondering, do you color things the way you see them or do you change the colors to create what you want? I ask this because I noticed a lot of artist are using limited pallets but I always paint the way I see it. I may give it a try, just curious. Thanks
I was using Noodler's Bullet Proof Black ink. It is also dependent on the style of paper you use it on that will make a difference on how well it holds up to water. Let it dry first too. Hope this helps!
Feels like a warm humid day with a chance of rain.
Excellent thank you☘.
I love how tightly you draw and how loosely you paint. I hope you are still creating somewhere!
Really like the sketch. Think your use of brown tones was exceptional. Look forward to more. Stay well.
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it!
oooh, that's my hometown!! :) pretty sketch!
Stunning!
Awesome! I've started sketching while I'm out because of your channel.

I was going to comment about there being music but I had forgot lol.
great one!
Thanks!
Thank you for this, it's great! May I ask which of the Khadi sketchbooks you were using?
how are you liking the fude nib? love this sketch and I hear music!!! good job!!
The Hero pen is becoming my favorite pen to use. The fude nib on that one is well built. And yes, I finally got the music to work right lol

Hi Chris, do you use a reference photo while sketching?
Imre van Buuren yes, I used references from Instagram mostly when I work at home, or photos I've personally taken. Thanks for watching!
