Great video sir. Finally someone who actually explains the entire process in a way that’s easily understood. Looking to switch from Sea Doo to Kawasaki 310 this summer. I hear great things about Kawasaki
Running the motor after you fog it kind of defeats the purpose. I have someone hold the coolant bottle exactly like you, and then i start fogging when i see coolant come out of the ski.
@@Battle_Boat_ good video though, a lot of people definitely neglect these machines. I bet thats half the reason why they have the “unreliability” rep!
@@seatime674 its absolutely good for it. The entire purpose of antifreeze/coolant is to prevent corrosion. You will never completely clear the engine of water, unless you start taking things apart. So for winterization, ESPECIALLY if the ski is going to get below freezing, coolant is neccessary. They may be an open cooling system, but regardless you wouldnt want ice inside the engine. Plus you want the corrision protection
@@joeysprojects9081 Ahhh haaaa,, makes sense now, it never gets under 60 in my garage in the winter but I'll do it for the corrosion protection because there's always a little water in there... Will any coolant work and should it be full concentrate or 50/50 mix?

I'll break out the manual but does it mention using coolant?. If not maybe that's not good for it.. Great video, I'll be fogging away👍..

@@Battle_Boat_ Are you the original owner and have you had pretty good luck with it any mechanical repairs worth noting?
Yes and no problems to speak of yet
@@Battle_Boat_ Never say yet, ha.. I heard some of these slightly earlier models having piston issues so your story is always good to hear👍
