    You have some great mods on your ski! New Kawasaki Ultra 310 owners totally benefit from you using the mods first and are basically our "test bed" for the products. I also appreciate your honest reviews about what works. I'm going to get the belt tensioner and new stock pulley at the end of this riding season and maybe a few things from Unlimited PWC too! Thanks for posting JD!

      Haha thanks for watching Jerry!! Yep, there are a few mods I’ve done that are absent from this video…just because they didn’t work for me doesn’t mean they won’t work for others…but everything mentioned in this video I would personally stand behind! Also some things may last decades in fresh water but only a few months in salt…the parts I endorse or run myself all have proven themselves in a salt water environment- which means they will hold up to pretty much any fresh water as well!!

    Very SMART of Unlimited to comp you their catalogue because people like me will indeed purchase item that you have on your skin. Since I have your exact skin year and model I will just copy many of your suggestions. Although I dont need some components as I’m a fresh water rider (unless I trailer frame GA. to Fla ) 75 % of the gear, accessories etc you recommend is on my purchase list. I never heard of Unlimited and a couple other companies until you recommend. I do t have to even think twice about a purchase after your recommendation. I hope these companies continue to appreciate you. AND Kevin Shaw as well.

      My top choices from Unlimited are definitely the traction mats and the valve cover! I didn't have as good luck with the exhaust tip or flush ports because of the salt- the beautiful parts started to corrode but if you ride on fresh water they will hold up much better. Thank you for the comment! These parts and other recommendations I made across my channel are based on products I actually use- I accept no commissions and don't make any money from recommending this or other products- I do it all only to help others guide their decision making process!

    You've created one hell of a ski, and all the green billet aluminum and the traction mats make it look fantastic too. I'm looking into a few things for my GTR right now - potentially a custom rack that mounts to the LinQ system, so I have a more universal way of hauling cargo, and I'm aiming for it to be able to hold 70+ liters of fuel. Thanks man! The ski is fine stock, with the exception of the supercharger pulley which really does not hold up well in heavy salt water riding- the tensioner mod reduces maintenance since you won’t have to grease the pivot bushing. • @JDsWaterWorld

      There’s a bracket for the stock adjustable riser that allows you to use aftermarket handlebars but keep the tilt. I think the tilt assembly has too much “slop” so I like the fixed riser. You can easily swap back and forth there are no permanent mods done to remove or reinstall it

The problem with daring to adjust it, there's no way of knowing if its now better,without testing it, you could be adjusting those two rods 10 times, perhaps l should judt leave it as is. Or perhaps its right but ski slightly drift off couse,and is normal ,appreciate some advice.

    • @JDsWaterWorld
      @JDsWaterWorld  Год назад +1

      Kevin, that’s an easy one- just give the brass steering cam one or two turns- then measure the distance on either side of the exit nozzle to the mounts for the reverse bucket and adjust until it’s centered and the handlebars are straight. You can adjust it pretty good on land- then water test and tweak as necessary. This is an easy adjustment, so shouldn’t take too much on your part

    What pulley do you recommend if I want more boost than stock? I was gonna go with k speed 108mm and I do only ride in fresh water but still concern about it rusting and damaging my belt.

    • @JDsWaterWorld
      @JDsWaterWorld  Год назад

      If you’re only in fresh water, you will be fine with that Kspeed pulley and idler. The Kspeed 108 pulley itself was completely fine, just the larger automotive grade idler is not suited for salt water riding and I was not able to source once that was. Industry experts took the time to tell me that I should not be running extra boost if I wanted my engine to last…they were speaking from experience and specifically the pistons will tend to fracture- unless you upgrade them to forged, the factory ones really are not rated for more boost than stock- I am not the end-all on this, but after listening to multiple voices telling me that I should only run a stock size pulley and keep the BOV, this is what I did. Unless you have a race team and sponsors that can pay and out in the hours to rebuild your engine for you…I’d stick with stock boost- this is my opinion and not necessarily the end-all just keep that in mind

      @JDsWaterWorld  Год назад

      The fuel rail won’t damage anything- I just added a pressure gauge to mine and will be reinstalling it. The Kspeed 108 setup is honestly probably fine for most riders- I just personally won’t be running any extra boost again or a block off until I upgrade to forged pistons…I run in high heat, salt, abusive environment and it never hurts to run the machine on the conservative side.

I’ve got the Kspeed tune, top loading intake grate, 2 degree pump wedge, stainless idler pulley, billet supercharger pulley, billet sponsons,….I’m not tryna win races, don’t need to be forcing 18psi of boost into my engine while I smash through the salt water at 67 mph…I’m not out to blow the ski up. It’s all about the proper balance…
