55mph is respectable. Some machines can go 67-75 with out modifications. And then of course modified can crank up into the 90's. Price is ok. Great to see watercraft content coming back. Fishing boats, ski boats, yachts, pontoons, and of course jet ski racing would be fun to see TFL get into. :)
Thanks for the informative Video, this Jet Ski Ultra 160 looks to be a good choice for someone that's not an adrenaline junkie such as myself, I'm a Retired (I will be 67 in May) Professional Wrench (Audi's are my Specialty). I purchased my first PWC 3 years ago, a used 2015 Sea Doo GTX iS 260 Limited with 54 Hours (now has 199 Hours). I personally don't believe that I would have been satisfied with a N/A (Normally Aspirated) Ski. My Sea Doo doesn't have a sound system, I don't miss having Music while Piloting around at 67 MPH (Speed Control Limited) or sliding it sideways and backwards, I'm having too much Fun to listen to Music other than hearing my 1503 cc Rotax 4 Tec Triple Engine and Supercharger making Music to my ears. I fortunately have the Mechanical Skill Set the good Lord Blessed me with and Tools to perform my own Maintenance, Repairs and Modifications. I keep hearing naysayers on the internet badmouthing Sea Doo Suspension Skis mostly because of additional complexity and technology? I find my Sea Doo with Suspension easier to work on than Audi's. Kawasaki, Yamaha and Sea Doo all make Great PWC's. Do the research and find the Ski that suits you best. BTW: less than a week ago a friend and myself took a 60+ mile excursion across galveston Bay, into the Texas Intracoastal Waterway heading West past Surfside and out into the Gulf of Mexico (jumping large Swells on the way out) about 6 Miles out to and around an Oil Rig, the Trip was a Blast, we stopped for Lunch in Surfside on the way back and to be sure we would make it back, I added an additional 5 Gallons of Gas to the 18.6 Gallon Tank which made it possible to select Sport Mode to fully unleash the 260 HP on tap during the return trip. @@CrochetNewsNetwork It honestly would be plenty for 98% of the people…. Canadian prices on the 160 are $1000 less then I paid for my 310 last year. So there’s no way I’m going to a 160 for the current pricing. The new ultra platform is fantastic and you can’t go wrong
Fx cruiser 1.9 is nice mix ,almost as good in the ruff stuff, better storage ,touch screen ,less tippy , much faster , they say fx luttle worse on gas but if i ride my fx qith the same performance the kawy offers yamy has the better economy.
Great video dude! Just did a little bit of research, which makes me kinda want this. I’m not one to mess with the ocean BUT I read it takes about an hour to go to Catalina Island off the Coast of LA. And ferries usually travel at 43 MPH. This would be awesome to do. Again I have no experience being in the ocean but would love to experience this.

56 mph is more than enough. I'm not trying to break any records. Just cruising.
The downside of supercharging is fuel burn and thus range per tank.

Perhaps its time for a TFL channel dedicated to this stuff? Kinda like how you have one for motorbikes and quads?
Great video. More of these please
Im very happy with my 2023 Ultra 160 LX. Looking forward to mastering it and having lots of fun on it !! Thanx !!
Has there ever been a point in using it where you wish you had supercharged?
@@northerniltree naaa !
How many hours have you used it so far?@@georgel.correa4921
Thank you TFL crew!
we need more jetski videos!
whats your thoughts on pulling tubers with that?
Good review ,looking at this and the Yammy Cruiser HO...
Awesome. They mentioned Steve. He was the water dude for tfl crew.
Great video. I'd love to see more watercraft content. 👌
TFL Boats or TFL Floats becoming a reality
Is there my after market magic to get the 160 ultra lx up to say 60 mph? This is the ski I want
KSPEED
@@24rezimodnaR what would I specifically purchase or have updated to get the 160 to speeds of 55 mph?
Taking off road in the literal sense, I see!
What do you mean the smart steering came from a he 310. That’s been on Kawis since the first 4 stroke. My 125 horsepower 2004 Kawasaki STX-12F had it
How do you toggle to the audio? I can’t figure it out!
I have the 310 but 160 is enough. I stay 90 percent under 40 mph.
I have a ‘22 310 LX. Usually ride around 40 as well. Buuuut - it’s sure nice to use the 310 ponies when ya want to!!!
Also. Will last longer and be a lot easier maintenance
That is excellent information . My heart says the 310, however I’m over 65 years old and suspect the 160 would be the sweet spot for me.

Tfl boat?
Jetskis are hardly boats.
I'd love for you to do a video on Yamaha WaveRunners. Seeing as they're all built in my little town of Newnan, Georgia.
👏👏👏ALEX ....... HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE ✌️
Great video.
Check into the E-jetski. 👍👍
They talk alot about allll jetski but they don't talk about the milage on the jetski...why?
More videos like this. Get some Waverunners
wow, 1 year of 0 jet ski videos? btw this is currently the last...
Big Bertha skis. 20 grand and only do 50. Lol. I miss the 90s.
Better than 50 grand which only does 20. I miss my virginity.
I would prefer no radio at all. If I am riding one of these I want to enjoy the ride. I will listen to music at the house so I can enjoy my music.
You're in luck. No jet ski has a radio.
@@northerniltree Excuse me, sound system.
A bit slow but still looks fast standing still
I am guessing trim adjustment is the reason for the extreme difference in his 2 speed runs. Betting he was trimmed down when he was topping out at 50
I’ll take a yammy gp1800r svho + riva stage 1+ kit. Similar pricing and that ish will fly from a dig and on top.
and use more gas and you gotta use 93 octane so 🤷
Why would you buy this his over an stx? More expensive/more stuff to go wrong and slower. I mean your in the water not a parking lot
Ultra is far better in choppy water.

A terribly ugly skii. [ i own a fzs and a 83 mph gp 1800R ]
u own something with no innovation and use water spouts for visibility this is by far the best ski on the market
Kawasaki is the worst in choppy water. Can't go above 20 miles an hour without suffering fatigue.
