    I need this. Just got sucked up into a cult and I truly care for these people and want to scream, "Guys! We're in a cult!" Lbvs! I need to know how to wake them up in a gentle and loving way. I'm still watching the video, so I pray it has some answers. God bless all on this Turkey Day!

      Darso M what Church is the church that Jesus started, and promised that it would last forever?
      also, in
      Matthew 18:15-18, what Church denomination should i take my brother to, in order to satisfy that passage? Catholic church, or one of the 30000 protestant and non denom. Churches? or does this mean take him to the Bible?...someone that reads the Bible? any self-professed Christian?

    The last few brain cells I have left had a pow-wow and decided that they can't make heads or tails of Jeff's missionary story at the end. I'm trying to understand the impact of the "trap" that was set, and how the unknown husband played a part. Thanks in advance.

      Edward Clark Just got done watching this video and was scrolling through the comments and wanted to respond, even though it's been 6 months since you posted your question. :) What happened is that he had just got done making an impactful point with the Mormons regarding the fact that it takes more than a mere *profession* of faith in order to be saved, i.e., a true conversion would be marked by a true Christian way of life. So he makes the point by quoting Paul from Romans and it really hits the Mormons. Next thing you know, in walks the live-in boyfriend, *not* *husband*. So here's a supposed "Christian" girl knowingly breaking God's commands regarding sex outside of the marriage covenant while professing Christ. This experience apparently reversed the impact that Jeff had made on these men because they no longer believed him, which is why he said he was upset with these people after the Mormons left and he also mentioned regretting not knowing this information in advance because he wouldn't have even went. I hope that helps! :-)

    I live in Nampa Idaho. We also have a boat load of Mormon Tabernacles(?) around here. We probably have more Mormon "churches" in the treasure valley than McDonald's and Burger 🍔 King's combined. They even have a few mini churches as well. I think they're like Mormon FOBs. 🤷 Not sure, anyway thank you. The Lord is doing wonderful things with your life. 🤙

      They can't even answer that I didn't realize that the word father has more than one meaning the Bible and even outside of that religion wise theology wise term of endearment is a closeness even though it has no clothes in the light of emotional peel it's a sign of expression and a closeness it has nothing to do with literalism. Jehovah is not literally our father aka dad. He's our Creator The Maker and Master over these subjects. NOT begater anti begating and way way direct opposite.
      Regular man kings biblical and not would vall their next heir who were outside their family as a son. Paul calls his converts and early Christian assemblies when he wrote his letters with churches that he was a father to them he's not literally their father is a terminology of expression emotional clothes appeal to make appointment statement.

    A short summary of the pagan origins of the RCC: drive.google.com/open?id=0Bzbb16zUBuTkUmRDOEIxOFpvblU

    • @jembenjamin
      @jembenjamin 7 лет назад +3

      Whoever wrote the content of the link you use appears to have no knowledge of the early church fathers and their writings or he would not say that the RCC practices started in the 300's. If one looks ate the many compilations out there on the apostolic fathers you will see the Catholic Church mentioned in 110 by Ignatius of Antioch who was ordained by the Apostle John. You would see Clement the bishop of Rome writing authoritatively to the Corinthians who already had a local bishop which suggests a very early papacy. "To be steeped in history is to cease to be a Protestant (Cardinal John Henry Newman).

      +Jason Miller It is a summary of a presentation of an Ex-Catholic priest!

    • @jembenjamin
      @jembenjamin 7 лет назад +2

      Even if he is an ex-Catholic priest, that does not mean that his history is not grossly flawed. What I would ask him about is why the policies of Julian the Apostate did not thrive. He was emperor a few decades after Constantine and wanted outright paganism.He sponsored social systems to help the poor to mimic what the now legal Catholic Church was doing and get interest back in paganism. When he died, the attempted pagan revival died with him. Also, Arianism was way close to paganism in the 320's and Constantine did not force that on Christians but kicked it to the Council of Nicea to decide. Back to the ex-priest aspect, I can concede that is a persuasive argument of the Protestant position as well as the traffic being more Catholics becoming Protestant than the other way around. That said, it has been my observation after much time looking at converts from both sides that for converts that are bachelors or masters educated in biblical studies and church history it is not close. For every Catholic priest who says they "got saved out of the Catholic Church" you see the opposite times one hundred of such theologically educated Protestants becoming Catholic. If you were to check out the website of the Coming Home Network you would see the video stories of bachelors and masters educated Protestant to Catholic converts (I use that term cautiously because both are Christian) who are thankful for their Protestant backgrounds but are fulfilled in their walk with Jesus in the Church he founded. chnetwork.org

      If there is no name of who this supposed priest was it gives doubt of it's truth, and since all it is is typical anti-Catholic drivel I will deduce it is not from a priest, priests are more educated than this and know all the history of Constantine. This is false and a bad version of it, I would not share this again if I were you. False witnessing is a sin. The accuser has another name. Do you know it?

    You say I am in a cult, and you spend your life attacking my church, accosting members, etc. To me, you are a modern day Pharisee. I think John the Baptist had people like you pegged pretty well.
    Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
    So, viper, why are you making a nuisance of yourself? I think it is because you are a modern day Pharisee.

      Amen Laura! That's how I felt when I went from Protestant to Catholic in 2013. Ironically, I find myself cheering for Durbin in his content that is not counter to the RCC. It would be interesting to see him in a debate with Tim Staples or especially Jimmy Akin the author of the Drama of Salvation.

      Batboy121000 if you were to read the catechism of the Catholic Church on what it teaches regarding Mary you would find that she is highly honored but they specifically exclude the option of worshiping her.

      The Catholic Church is the Mother of Harlots in Revelations.... On top of that they believe in purgatory, they added to the original BIBLE which states in Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. I see catholics worship mary more than JESUS, i see them celebrate easter, christmas and even Halloween. I see them putting up false images of Christ and Mary, which just represents idolatry, I see catholic churches that agree for gay marriage and do gay marriages for people. Celebrate ash Wednesday which isnt in the bible at all, baptize babies when they arent born again creatures in repentance AND the POPE now denied the power of Jesus, wants to make a one world religion and worships the devil. Catholicism is a lie from the devil and you must get out of it.

    • @jembenjamin
      @jembenjamin 7 лет назад +3

      So Catholic priests with full approval from the college of bishops and Rome performs gay weddings? Some episcopalians have done that, but please cite time, place and names for that accusation. Also, please cite time, place and names of where a specifically defined worship of Mary happened. As for adding to the Bible, the book of Revelation was written over three hundred years before the Bible was codified. And please cite time, place and wording where the Bishop of Rome said he wants to worship the devil. As for baptizing babies, Luther believed in that. Was he a false preacher?
