Friendly advice: Back when I used to experience heavy demonic oppression regularly (both before and right after I was saved) I would try to "command" the demons to leave in Jesus's name. It wouldn't seem to work much. Later, after being saved for maybe 3 months I instead cried out TO Jesus and said, "Lord, your servant is crying to you for help". IMMEDIATELY the demonic oppression went away. Immediately. I know exactly the heaviness and hatred Jeff was describing. When I was attacked it felt like I was on fire. But God is so good. He saved me and He answers me when I call. That was the last time I experienced oppression to that degree.
I am currently experiencing this because I came back to Christ after a very very ungodly relationship that ended months ago. I know the devil wants me to keep rebelling, but the Lord God almighty is greater and better.
Love this! Are we less important to God if we are not powerful in our faith like the disciples? No. It’s not indicative of such, because even iscariot worked miracles. Rather God wants us to recognize His power and sovereignty. I used to be addicted to one particularly resistant sin. Covetousness. The object of my lust is unimportant, what is important is that I did what you did. I was in prayer in the early morning and I told God that I can’t keep falling over and over to this sin and glorify Him. And I am unable to will the sin away, therefore, if His Spirit did not work the will in me then I cannot overcome. Well, the Father listened, and He did just that. I was always able to repent, but I lacked the consistency of will to do so….He changed that for me. Glory to God who keeps His promises and makes Jesus’ victory real to us by His Holy Spirit.
I felt that same hatred when Jesus opened my eyes to the truth about new age and the occult. I came home and burned all of my tarot cards and demons filled my yard. I then started to pray against them in Jesus name and it vanished…but I felt exactly what you described when I realized the truth and took action to turn from it all. Praise my Heavenly Father!!!! Robert Fishter that is how the KJV translates the verse. The original greek word is sóphronismos, which means self control, self discipline, prudence. I would say the ESV which translates it “self control” and the NASB “self discipline” translates it better than the KJV “of a sound mind” to the english reader reading. I believe the KJV, ESV and NASB are all God breathed, 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Have a blessed day

The elders once told me if your not running into the devil your running with it. The more I sought Jesus the more I experienced opposition. I thank God for that because it only validated the reality of spiritual war fare that strengthened my faith and will to fight for freedom through salvation and knowledge of Him. are we fighting spiritual warfare or are we willfully exposing ourselves to demonic activity and then invoking the love god has for us to protect us. i was into that and i just really feel theres greater fruit in evangelizing the gospel. i was litterally praying down palm readers and freemason lodges. the closer you get to sound doctrine the more you realize all things serve the will of god and we serve a god of peace, love and a sound mind. its deffinetly real without a doubt. but its not fruitful. deliverance, yes, but out and out spiritual warfare by incensing demons just to rebuke them and invoke jesus, thats unbiblical. you should not put god to the test

What started out as an interest and curiosity into the occult became much more for me. I was pulled in, I was literally consumed by darkness. It slowly creeped into and destroyed my life. It caused severe mental health issues. By Gods grace and mercy he saved me and pulled me out, drew me to himself and protected me from it all. I’m a firm believer now in God then I ever was. The atmosphere is something like 80% nitrogen and loaded with particulates and colloidal minerals of all kinds, natural and man made. Man made? Yes. Our cars, fireplaces, machines, man made commercial and industrial industries, and also more secretive bioengineered aerosol spraying in mass, globally, commonly called "chemtrails". I used to go to bob Larsen training classes with my dad as a kid. It was terrifying and so disturbing. I love how in the story of the girl you prayed over that your prayer was NOT directed at the demon. You prayed TO JESUS for help, protection and deliverance. SUCH a big difference. Got our Father will come to rescue his children. He respond when we call out to him for help.
I was a born again christian and would NEVER mess with the occult. But I started reading 'christian books' about demonic possession and exorcisms -- I think one of them was called Hostage To The Devil. I thought I was reading them as a believer so I was safe from the enemy. But then one night I woke up in my pitch black room (no light, because there were no windows in this particular room -- it was the center room in a railway apartment) -- I woke up in the middle of the night and even though I couldn't see anything in the pitch blackness I could 'see' a figure standing right next to bed looking down at me hating me. It's like I could 'see' the outline of this figure standing there with senses other than my eyes -- it was like a black silhouette of even darker blackness against the pitch darkness of the room. So hard to describe. But I knew it was there, real -- not a dream -- and I knew that being standing over me -- right beside my bed -- staring down at me -- I knew it was utterly evil -- demonic -- so I prayed the name of Jesus and it was gone and I got the light on. I knew I had invited that thing into my life -- I had opened the door -- by being TOO INTERESTED in fallen angels. So I stopped reading those books. It was terrifying. A pitch black silhouette against blackness of seething, utter absolute HATRED for me. The fallen angels hate, hate, HATE humans. That's why 'satan worshippers' are going to be in for a big surprise one day.
The kind of faith that people need to have is faith that obeys. Obedience of the faith, obedience that comes from faith. Mental faith that recognizes the reality of something but doesn't act as if that is the reality is not enough for salvation. Also on the opposite side, just going through the motions will not save anyone. I could live my whole life without sin, but without doing it by faith in Jesus I would still be guilty Saved by grace through faith, but make sure we know what type of faith (obedient faith)

God, in his perfect sovereignty, has given me a great life by me having to move to NC, but still having a hard time finding the right Church home for my family and I. @JeffDurbin, when I met my first wife, she was the single's class teacher at my church. I thought she was so holy! We married and the next thing I knew I was having demonic dreams that felt so real, they were terrifying. A few years later, I started having what I've been told was repressed memory and I was remembering drowning in Mexico when I was 5 years old. She, being a licensed counselor and me now knowing she operated in a Jezebel spirit, used that memory to feed me lies of being sexually molested. The memory of drowning was very clear and vivid, but I had no memory of being molested. She fed this to me on a daily basis. It caused estrangement from my parents for almost 5 years. The torment became more severe. Long story short, she left me and divorced me and that's when the torment ceased. This woman is not a Christian. She is a wolf in sheep's clothing. She turned my children against me and to this day, I have no relationship with them. But I know that God will return them to me one day. Demonic oppression is very real! But the power and authority of Christ is even more real!

I love how you ground everything in the Scripture and teach by example how you examine the Word. I found myself thinking about how the demoniac cut himself and wishing you would speak to that and it was your next point. It reminds me that the very same, very faithful Holy Spirit is teaching us all BY THE WORD!! Thanks be to God for preserving His Word for us and making it so available for us. I fell off my walk with God and ignored him. I was possessed with demons again and one night they took control. I went to church for prayer and the demon showed itself. I realized my life has resorted back to how it was being possessed by demons and being tormented everyday. I thought it was normal because I fell off my walk for too long and I wasnt thinking about God at all until it got worse and a table flew across my apartment and then months later it over took me. And i had to go back to god i cant live like this anymore. When I had God I was so full of joy and constantly felt his presence.
Been doing my own studies on the demonic and occult and it indeed is something to be careful of. He did great at giving proper information, the only thing I disagree is when he says that Satan is already bound or that there not as many demons nowadays. This is a common for alot of Christians today. Make no mistake the devil is not enchanted nor are his demons, there are very much active and pulling string watching what you do. A believer can not be possesed, however believers can be demonized; there is a difference between posession which shows ownership & demonize which is to harass....
You are dead wrong. I was full on posessed to the point i was gone and under full demonic control for a short time. You can't be fully posessed in the soul, but they can control your body for a bit. If you start doing things I did it can happen unfortunately. I was leaving my body a lot, and let things inside. I lived with a woman playing with witchcraft and i was playing with sorcery. Things progressed over many years. it was always more opresion, but one night i did what they told me and let one have control. I didn't know what happened and woke up tied down with 6 police in my room. It took all six police with my dad praying to hold my arms down to tie me up. I had superhuman strength, and was projectile vomiting brown stuff. The demons then said some things to my dad specifically. Honestly i didn't believe any of this until the day I said spiritual warfare prayers and got them very angry. They fought hard to stay, but got kicked out. It was a miracle what happened that day. There was so much I was in denial about before this day. It was a strange situation that i was living the worst type of life, but still praying all day every day knowing I needed help. I was cursed with non stop problems, so I had to pray all day. I do not think I would have lived without the prayer. I was so decieved that I didn't even know what most I was doing to be demonic. They are very smart, and stayed hidden well. They knew how to fool me. They used a woman to really push me over the edge. I am sure that is a common trick seeing what happened right from adam and eve lol. I knew the fruit was forbidden, but didn't believe the consequences. I was seeking knowledge. traveling to other dimensions, and asking demons for information. The demon thing I knew was wrong, and was against. I went along with it at first, but had to prove it was wrong. It said it was evil when asked in Jesus name. I proved it once again changing its answer through prayer, but she doesn't care that she is talking to a demon I guess. We crossed lines most Christains do not, so I found out the extent of demonic power on a christian. I do not see it getting any worse without killing the person through suicide or murder which was thier main goal.
Scmak No, if you are born again, not baptized but made a choice to follow Jesus and have a desire to do God's will and be more like Him. It isn't about going to church or believing in God, but you have dedicated your life to Him and know without a doubt that you have eternal salvation. If you are a true son of God you cannot be possessed with demons. Ever since Pentacost these evil little fallen critters have no authority over you as you have the Spirit of Truth living within you. If you are being attacked PRAY! Always command they depart in the name of Jesus. That name is so powerful; He's the Master of the Universe. His followers are given the power over them. Now there are many demons around us, especially today so just stay close to God and talk to Him always. He desires fully for you to develop a personal relationship with Him. I have a demonic parasite and i would be harassed by pinching during the day, and lucid dream interactions, but never a possession. I can totally relate to your story ChooseLife i was meddling into shit too like dream guides and stuff. I love God now because of it so Amen dude, all these people should believe because of our experiences, and if they don't believe why don't they go play with some black magic shit, they'll run towards God in a heartbeat once they have undeniable proof.
I am confused Jeff! I am a Christian and have been for 20 years or so, I am Holy Spirit filled. I have been called to evangelism. I have a brother in Christ who through me the Lord has saved, he gave his life to Christ. With the direction of the holy spirit after 4-5 weeks of ministering to him of life style and habits, a demon manifested in him and made him walk up and down furiously, he got Jaw lock also. we were staying in a hotel at the time and i got him back to my room, and told him to get on his knees and i layed my hand on him. I began to pray in English i sensed and my friend felt and heard laughter coming from his chest. Straight away the Holy Spirit told me to pray in tongues so i did, that very second the laughter was silenced. After 2-3 mins of praying in tongues my friend fell flat on his face. after 30 seconds or so he rose up on to his bottom and dragged himself to sit with his back to the wall. He was frozen in fear i could see it in his eyes, I told him to call out to the Lord Jesus in his mind and he came round. The Holy Spirit had told me during this that it was ancestral demon of witchcraft, my friend had already told me his mum was a witch and his family had been for many generations. So this made perfect sense. I knew at the time that this wasn't all of it, and my friend said the same thing without me saying anything. I am seeking help from a elder in my church to cast the rest out which I believe to be a generational curse and my friend was unloved and abused as a child so I believe there is some evil spirit or spirits left. I am not lying with this statement and Christ knows this. if Christians can't have demons tell me how this is? also I have spiritual site and can tell the truth in 99 percent of situations, I have also seen a demon turn a mans eyes white as it manifested. explain please or some1 answer please i am not having a pop, I am simply confused now?
Hi brother a sister here, you say a brother came to you and was saved through you by our Lord Jesus Christ..., the brothers deliverance had to come from God, Jesus did not know him cos he did not know God, It is our Father who leads us to his Son. As Jesus is the only way. He was not sealed, Satan or his demons can not touch you if you have Gods Seal, Your comment was You saved a brother and Jesus did it through You. Are you sure brother? As Jesus is the only one who saves, you can only lead him Jesus the saving is up to the brother he needs to realise his sins and accept he's a sinner and needs saving as wages of sin is death he has to acknowledge it first then he will understand Jesus sacrifice.. They get mad when you identify them, threats, fear, attacks. Then they get friendly, offer to console, offer protection. But even if demons claims legal access, they must leave in the name of Jesus.

I suffer from depression and sometimes nightmares with sleep paralysis I mean really scary, vivid ones and I wonder if it's demons trying to oppress me. It's a thin line between mental illness and possession and maybe one opens you up to the other.

That story about the girl, I think it’s great for obvious reasons but also because the demons lost their host and were humiliated. They lost that skirmish in the most real sense because a Christian prayed and God was pleased to answer the request immediately.
2 cases? Man, it's very hard to find some that are free from demons. But one thing is to have demons INSIDE and others to have demons outside - telling you what to do, how to feel, what to say, etc..

Robert Walters: While disabling the comments section from videos on public social media may seem a good idea from one or a small set of perspectives or angles, it is actually NOT a good idea as it flies in the face of the spirit of social media, free market of ideas, and free speech. I for one, am part of the growing number of Christians and conservatives who WILL NOT watch or partake of any form of cultural exchange or social media if there is any restrictions of the 'feed back' or commenting or exchange on account of the content. I believe any person wanting their voice to be heard or their message to be given attention to, who is unwilling for verbal or written feed back, even if some is negative, to be swimming in very dangerous waters for a multiple of obvious reasons. As I have said before while debating SJW's and brainwashed liberals, what happens on line will one day happen in real life. I have non-believing friends,drug addict friends, and friends who are secular. I dont think God wants me to abandon my attempt to Witness, show the love of God in my life through understanding,humility and the word. So the "unequally yoked" verse is on a fine,thin line. But still must be carefully applied once It appears that i may be unsuccessful. ALways praying for everyone though.
VinnyVv28 We are to go into the world proclaiming the gospel. You bring them the word, but there comes a time you have to dust the dirt off and walk away. Once given over to a reprobate mind you have to use prayer for God The Father to come to them and open their eyes.
I've only ever heard that phrase in relation to spouses, as in, don't date or marry an unbeliever. As far as friends, you should try to witness to lost friends, but they probably shouldn't be your very best friends. Love them, talk about the gospel with them, but have close friends who are fellow Christians, you need the support, you can learn from each other, and you will help each other live in a way that is pleasing to God.

The exciting thing is...we have been commissioned to do the same thing that Jesus did and even greater works because... he has gone to the Father and he has dispatched the Holy Spirit to empower us for supernatural service like the disciples were empowered in Mark 16:17-20. When I watch your videos, they are interrupted by way more ads than any other videos I watch. Some of them are even for mediums and people talking about they’re great spirit guides. I don’t know how much control The channel owner has over this, but I thought I would post it just in case.
Why is it that in my "dreams" demons won't flee in Christ name? I am a firm believer with a past and a horrible near death experience this is as you might think very disturbing for me
They like to fight it, to resist but they can't, stay at it and Christ wins, some.mist be prayed about and fasted to get rid of too. Also some dreams are just dreams.
How does a person know if they saved? I wasn't brought up Christian but had a conversion experience in my 20's which is a long story but lets just say I was kicking and screaming. I was introduced into a Bible study group who were very much Calvinist.We spent many years in study, in fact 5 years just in Matthew. I loved God and was convinced of my salvation and that it was secure. A very long story short I fell and backslid in many many ways which I thought was impossible. I have been away from God now for 15 years and my life has been total misery.....was my faith real?

I have a peculiar random problem. I've moved around a lot. I'm recently a born again Christian. Some places I've rented never gave me problems. Other places, I've noticed strong demonic presence and it destroys my peace of mind. I'll have a hard time sleeping. Now I want to move again into an apartment that HOPEFULLY are free of demonic infestation. I'm currently sleeping in my living room because it's the only room I get a peaceful night's rest. My current bedroom (I'm going to sound crazy) but I can see dark orbs and figures of angry demons that brings a horrible feeling of doom and I can't move. I'm wondering if previous renters did witchcraft in this bedroom. My question is... how do I cast out demons that reside in my home or should I just move again?
In 2016 (I was born 1990) I heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for the first time. I believed and accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour. Something changed. I changed. My life changed. I did however burn out, because I started to work at a school, and I have 0 education. It became too much with everything. Teaching, preaching, planning, being a psychologist and dad, kind of. So I fell. I started willfully sinning, not to the extent of what I did before I accepted Jesus Christ, still I fell. Fast forward a couple of years, life had changed. I was still sinning, I was still doing the wrong things. I was still believing, not in a way where it showed, though, like in having a prayer life or worshipping in spirit and truth. Something then happened; first I was so brutally attacked by the powers of hell, then some time after, the Holy Spirit fell over me. I got radically changed. I repented thourougly and started to change what I could change. Sin, my relationship with food, thoughts about the past and things that I truly can change for the better. Im now at a place where Im free from sin, in the sense that Im not bound to anything that destroys me (maybe I spend too much time with the phone). Heres the thing: before 2016 I was using alot of drugs. I spent alot of time in the spirit realm, illegally, by using namely psilocybin and cannabis. Now when Im at this stage in life, I feel like something is wrong, because of that. I dont know how to describe it properly. I feel free and I believe that God has forgiven me, that God has brought me back to Him, because of my faith in Jesus Christ. Still, things are happening to me, mainly in my body. Some days after the Holy Spirit fell, my body moved without me doing anything, like it was waving back and forth. I also have these spasms in my body. It feels like my muscles contracts themselves. I, at times, get angry very quickly, even though I feel at peace - kind of. I recently caught a cold from an instance where I had very dark thoughts inside me. Like it affected me spiritually first, then it made my body sick. I think that I might have demons from my childhood and from my heavy drug abuse; by illegally being in the spirit realm. Now I heard Jeff saying that christians (born again disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ) cant be possessed by demons. Could the fact that I heard the gospel at the age of 26, paired with my background in illegal activities in the spirit realm, mean that I have demons, from the time before I was in the faith, and that I now need deliverance?
Yes you should seek deliverance. I have been a born again Christian for 9 months and was just delivered from a demon. I felt it coming out of my mouth, which was disgusting. I was not being controlled by it (possession) but it was constantly telling me I was dying and making me feel very sorry for myself. I still have the physical pain from my health problems but the overwhelming feeling of impending death and self pity has gone! This only just happened 2 weeks ago.

Friendly advice: Back when I used to experience heavy demonic oppression regularly (both before and right after I was saved) I would try to "command" the demons to leave in Jesus's name. It wouldn't seem to work much.
Later, after being saved for maybe 3 months I instead cried out TO Jesus and said, "Lord, your servant is crying to you for help". IMMEDIATELY the demonic oppression went away. Immediately.
I know exactly the heaviness and hatred Jeff was describing. When I was attacked it felt like I was on fire. But God is so good. He saved me and He answers me when I call. That was the last time I experienced oppression to that degree.
I am currently experiencing this because I came back to Christ after a very very ungodly relationship that ended months ago. I know the devil wants me to keep rebelling, but the Lord God almighty is greater and better.

I used to be addicted to one particularly resistant sin. Covetousness. The object of my lust is unimportant, what is important is that I did what you did.
I was in prayer in the early morning and I told God that I can’t keep falling over and over to this sin and glorify Him. And I am unable to will the sin away, therefore, if His Spirit did not work the will in me then I cannot overcome.
Well, the Father listened, and He did just that.
I was always able to repent, but I lacked the consistency of will to do so….He changed that for me.
Glory to God who keeps His promises and makes Jesus’ victory real to us by His Holy Spirit.

Robert Fishter that is how the KJV translates the verse. The original greek word is sóphronismos, which means self control, self discipline, prudence. I would say the ESV which translates it “self control” and the NASB “self discipline” translates it better than the KJV “of a sound mind” to the english reader reading. The elders once told me if your not running into the devil your running with it. The more I sought Jesus the more I experienced opposition. I thank God for that because it only validated the reality of spiritual war fare that strengthened my faith and will to fight for freedom through salvation and knowledge of Him. Nothing? You cannot prove "nothing" exists my friend. The atmosphere is something like 80% nitrogen and loaded with particulates and colloidal minerals of all kinds, natural and man made. Man made? Yes. Our cars, fireplaces, machines, man made commercial and industrial industries, and also more secretive bioengineered aerosol spraying in mass, globally, commonly called "chemtrails".
(Important to add in the argument of "is there a God") So as of yet, I know not what "nothing" is, short of death, which the Bible tells me is "a sleep", absence of thought feeling and emotions. That makes sense to me. The main stream Christian view of you die, your "eternal soul" (unbiblical) goes directly to one of three places:
1. Heaven
2. Hell
3. Purgatory (Roman catholic)
None of those are biblical.
We go to sleep. The life force from God returns to Him. For me, that is most logical.

I used to go to bob Larsen training classes with my dad as a kid. It was terrifying and so disturbing. I love how in the story of the girl you prayed over that your prayer was NOT directed at the demon. You prayed TO JESUS for help, protection and deliverance. SUCH a big difference. Got our Father will come to rescue his children. He respond when we call out to him for help.
I was a born again christian and would NEVER mess with the occult. But I started reading 'christian books' about demonic possession and exorcisms -- I think one of them was called Hostage To The Devil. I thought I was reading them as a believer so I was safe from the enemy. But then one night I woke up in my pitch black room (no light, because there were no windows in this particular room -- it was the center room in a railway apartment) -- I woke up in the middle of the night and even though I couldn't see anything in the pitch blackness I could 'see' a figure standing right next to bed looking down at me hating me. It's like I could 'see' the outline of this figure standing there with senses other than my eyes -- it was like a black silhouette of even darker blackness against the pitch darkness of the room. So hard to describe. But I knew it was there, real -- not a dream -- and I knew that being standing over me -- right beside my bed -- staring down at me -- I knew it was utterly evil -- demonic -- so I prayed the name of Jesus and it was gone and I got the light on. I knew I had invited that thing into my life -- I had opened the door -- by being TOO INTERESTED in fallen angels. So I stopped reading those books. It was terrifying. A pitch black silhouette against blackness of seething, utter absolute HATRED for me. The fallen angels hate, hate, HATE humans. That's why 'satan worshippers' are going to be in for a big surprise one day.
The kind of faith that people need to have is faith that obeys. Obedience of the faith, obedience that comes from faith.
Mental faith that recognizes the reality of something but doesn't act as if that is the reality is not enough for salvation. Also on the opposite side, just going through the motions will not save anyone. I could live my whole life without sin, but without doing it by faith in Jesus I would still be guilty
Saved by grace through faith, but make sure we know what type of faith (obedient faith)

We married and the next thing I knew I was having demonic dreams that felt so real, they were terrifying. A few years later, I started having what I've been told was repressed memory and I was remembering drowning in Mexico when I was 5 years old. She, being a licensed counselor and me now knowing she operated in a Jezebel spirit, used that memory to feed me lies of being sexually molested. The memory of drowning was very clear and vivid, but I had no memory of being molested. She fed this to me on a daily basis. It caused estrangement from my parents for almost 5 years. The torment became more severe. Long story short, she left me and divorced me and that's when the torment ceased. This woman is not a Christian. She is a wolf in sheep's clothing. She turned my children against me and to this day, I have no relationship with them. But I know that God will return them to me one day. Demonic oppression is very real! But the power and authority of Christ is even more real!

I found myself thinking about how the demoniac cut himself and wishing you would speak to that and it was your next point. I fell off my walk with God and ignored him. I was possessed with demons again and one night they took control. I went to church for prayer and the demon showed itself. I realized my life has resorted back to how it was being possessed by demons and being tormented everyday. I thought it was normal because I fell off my walk for too long and I wasnt thinking about God at all until it got worse and a table flew across my apartment and then months later it over took me. And i had to go back to god i cant live like this anymore. When I had God I was so full of joy and constantly felt his presence.
Been doing my own studies on the demonic and occult and it indeed is something to be careful of. He did great at giving proper information, the only thing I disagree is when he says that Satan is already bound or that there not as many demons nowadays. This is a common for alot of Christians today. Make no mistake the devil is not enchanted nor are his demons, there are very much active and pulling string watching what you do. You are dead wrong. I was full on posessed to the point i was gone and under full demonic control for a short time. You can't be fully posessed in the soul, but they can control your body for a bit. If you start doing things I did it can happen unfortunately. I was leaving my body a lot, and let things inside. I lived with a woman playing with witchcraft and i was playing with sorcery. Things progressed over many years. it was always more opresion, but one night i did what they told me and let one have control. I didn't know what happened and woke up tied down with 6 police in my room. It took all six police with my dad praying to hold my arms down to tie me up. I had superhuman strength, and was projectile vomiting brown stuff. The demons then said some things to my dad specifically. Honestly i didn't believe any of this until the day I said spiritual warfare prayers and got them very angry. They fought hard to stay, but got kicked out. It was a miracle what happened that day. There was so much I was in denial about before this day. It was a strange situation that i was living the worst type of life, but still praying all day every day knowing I needed help. I was cursed with non stop problems, so I had to pray all day. I do not think I would have lived without the prayer. I was so decieved that I didn't even know what most I was doing to be demonic. They are very smart, and stayed hidden well. They knew how to fool me. They used a woman to really push me over the edge. I am sure that is a common trick seeing what happened right from adam and eve lol. I knew the fruit was forbidden, but didn't believe the consequences. I was seeking knowledge. traveling to other dimensions, and asking demons for information. The demon thing I knew was wrong, and was against. I went along with it at first, but had to prove it was wrong. It said it was evil when asked in Jesus name. I proved it once again changing its answer through prayer, but she doesn't care that she is talking to a demon I guess. We crossed lines most Christains do not, so I found out the extent of demonic power on a christian. I do not see it getting any worse without killing the person through suicide or murder which was thier main goal.
Scmak No, if you are born again, not baptized but made a choice to follow Jesus and have a desire to do God's will and be more like Him. It isn't about going to church or believing in God, but you have dedicated your life to Him and know without a doubt that you have eternal salvation. If you are a true son of God you cannot be possessed with demons. Ever since Pentacost these evil little fallen critters have no authority over you as you have the Spirit of Truth living within you. If you are being attacked PRAY! Always command they depart in the name of Jesus. That name is so powerful; He's the Master of the Universe. His followers are given the power over them. Now there are many demons around us, especially today so just stay close to God and talk to Him always. He desires fully for you to develop a personal relationship with Him. I have a demonic parasite and i would be harassed by pinching during the day, and lucid dream interactions, but never a possession. I can totally relate to your story ChooseLife i was meddling into shit too like dream guides and stuff. I love God now because of it so Amen dude, all these people should believe because of our experiences, and if they don't believe why don't they go play with some black magic shit, they'll run towards God in a heartbeat once they have undeniable proof.

I am confused Jeff! I am a Christian and have been for 20 years or so, I am Holy Spirit filled. I have been called to evangelism. I have a brother in Christ who through me the Lord has saved, he gave his life to Christ. With the direction of the holy spirit after 4-5 weeks of ministering to him of life style and habits, a demon manifested in him and made him walk up and down furiously, he got Jaw lock also. we were staying in a hotel at the time and i got him back to my room, and told him to get on his knees and i layed my hand on him. I began to pray in English i sensed and my friend felt and heard laughter coming from his chest. Straight away the Holy Spirit told me to pray in tongues so i did, that very second the laughter was silenced. After 2-3 mins of praying in tongues my friend fell flat on his face. after 30 seconds or so he rose up on to his bottom and dragged himself to sit with his back to the wall. He was frozen in fear i could see it in his eyes, I told him to call out to the Lord Jesus in his mind and he came round. The Holy Spirit had told me during this that it was ancestral demon of witchcraft, my friend had already told me his mum was a witch and his family had been for many generations. So this made perfect sense. I knew at the time that this wasn't all of it, and my friend said the same thing without me saying anything. I am seeking help from a elder in my church to cast the rest out which I believe to be a generational curse and my friend was unloved and abused as a child so I believe there is some evil spirit or spirits left. I am not lying with this statement and Christ knows this. if Christians can't have demons tell me how this is? also I have spiritual site and can tell the truth in 99 percent of situations, I have also seen a demon turn a mans eyes white as it manifested. explain please or some1 answer please i am not having a pop, I am simply confused now?
Hi brother a sister here, you say a brother came to you and was saved through you by our Lord Jesus Christ..., the brothers deliverance had to come from God, Jesus did not know him cos he did not know God, It is our Father who leads us to his Son. As Jesus is the only way. He was not sealed, Satan or his demons can not touch you if you have Gods Seal, Your comment was You saved a brother and Jesus did it through You. Are you sure brother? As Jesus is the only one who saves, you can only lead him Jesus the saving is up to the brother he needs to realise his sins and accept he's a sinner and needs saving as wages of sin is death he has to acknowledge it first then he will understand Jesus sacrifice.. I think i understand now, someone with demons can be come a Christian and still have there demons and need them casting out. because they don't just leave the second you give your life to The Lord, but once your a Christian you cannot have any demons enter you

As a Christian I don't believe that we can be possessed by a demon but some certainly are oppressed by them.

I suffer from depression and sometimes nightmares with sleep paralysis I mean really scary, vivid ones and I wonder if it's demons trying to oppress me. It's a thin line between mental illness and possession and maybe one opens you up to the other.

I’ve been thinking about this often
I have non-believing friends,drug addict friends, and friends who are secular. I dont think God wants me to abandon my attempt to Witness, show the love of God in my life through understanding,humility and the word. So the "unequally yoked" verse is on a fine,thin line. But still must be carefully applied once It appears that i may be unsuccessful. ALways praying for everyone though.

We are to go into the world proclaiming the gospel. You bring them the word, but there comes a time you have to dust the dirt off and walk away. Once given over to a reprobate mind you have to use prayer for God The Father to come to them and open their eyes.
I've only ever heard that phrase in relation to spouses, as in, don't date or marry an unbeliever. As far as friends, you should try to witness to lost friends, but they probably shouldn't be your very best friends. Love them, talk about the gospel with them, but have close friends who are fellow Christians, you need the support, you can learn from each other, and you will help each other live in a way that is pleasing to God.

How does a person know if they saved? I wasn't brought up Christian but had a conversion experience in my 20's which is a long story but lets just say I was kicking and screaming. I was introduced into a Bible study group who were very much Calvinist.We spent many years in study, in fact 5 years just in Matthew. I loved God and was convinced of my salvation and that it was secure. A very long story short I fell and backslid in many many ways which I thought was impossible. I have been away from God now for 15 years and my life has been total misery.....was my faith real?

I had forgotten a lot of those things when years ago I thought that would have been impossible, I lived a life of confidence in Him. It seems Jesus never moved from me I just stopped trusting and my life got very miserable. I think I drifted into a works based belief and because of my sin I began to doubt my salvation.

I have a peculiar random problem. I've moved around a lot. I'm recently a born again Christian. Some places I've rented never gave me problems. Other places, I've noticed strong demonic presence and it destroys my peace of mind. I'll have a hard time sleeping. Now I want to move again into an apartment that HOPEFULLY are free of demonic infestation. I'm currently sleeping in my living room because it's the only room I get a peaceful night's rest. My current bedroom (I'm going to sound crazy) but I can see dark orbs and figures of angry demons that brings a horrible feeling of doom and I can't move. I'm wondering if previous renters did witchcraft in this bedroom. My question is... how do I cast out demons that reside in my home or should I just move again?

In 2016 (I was born 1990) I heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for the first time. I believed and accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour. Something changed. I changed. My life changed. I did however burn out, because I started to work at a school, and I have 0 education. It became too much with everything. Teaching, preaching, planning, being a psychologist and dad, kind of. So I fell. I started willfully sinning, not to the extent of what I did before I accepted Jesus Christ, still I fell. Fast forward a couple of years, life had changed. I was still sinning, I was still doing the wrong things. I was still believing, not in a way where it showed, though, like in having a prayer life or worshipping in spirit and truth. Something then happened; first I was so brutally attacked by the powers of hell, then some time after, the Holy Spirit fell over me. I got radically changed. I repented thourougly and started to change what I could change. Sin, my relationship with food, thoughts about the past and things that I truly can change for the better. Im now at a place where Im free from sin, in the sense that Im not bound to anything that destroys me (maybe I spend too much time with the phone). Heres the thing: before 2016 I was using alot of drugs. I spent alot of time in the spirit realm, illegally, by using namely psilocybin and cannabis. Now when Im at this stage in life, I feel like something is wrong, because of that. I dont know how to describe it properly. I feel free and I believe that God has forgiven me, that God has brought me back to Him, because of my faith in Jesus Christ. Still, things are happening to me, mainly in my body. Some days after the Holy Spirit fell, my body moved without me doing anything, like it was waving back and forth. I also have these spasms in my body. It feels like my muscles contracts themselves. I, at times, get angry very quickly, even though I feel at peace - kind of. I recently caught a cold from an instance where I had very dark thoughts inside me. Like it affected me spiritually first, then it made my body sick. I think that I might have demons from my childhood and from my heavy drug abuse; by illegally being in the spirit realm. Now I heard Jeff saying that christians (born again disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ) cant be possessed by demons. Could the fact that I heard the gospel at the age of 26, paired with my background in illegal activities in the spirit realm, mean that I have demons, from the time before I was in the faith, and that I now need deliverance?
Yes you should seek deliverance. I have been a born again Christian for 9 months and was just delivered from a demon. I felt it coming out of my mouth, which was disgusting. I was not being controlled by it (possession) but it was constantly telling me I was dying and making me feel very sorry for myself. I still have the physical pain from my health problems but the overwhelming feeling of impending death and self pity has gone! This only just happened 2 weeks ago.

I have the same question, and have also had both fresh grape juice and apple juice that were very high Brix.
Because there are two different types of wine described in the bible- new wine which was indeed essentially juice and aged wine- which was fermented in order for it to be kept for a long time. The kind of wine Jesus made out of water used the word for aged wine.
