I was an atheist until 6 years ago. My Christian Wife had been praying for me. She gets excited one night and tells me He just said, "It is Done". Of course I didn't believe her and I didn't like it when she said that God talked to her, I thought she was either crazy or lying. About two weeks later, God started revealing himself to me. I witnessed nearly a dozen supernatural events over the course of 3 or 4 weeks. After all that, one night during a bad thunderstorm, an evil spirit showed up in my room. I could feel it moving around the room. It was making messages appear on the tablet screen. One message said, "You're going to Hell!" I was petrified, lying in the fetal position and an image appeared on the tablet screen of someone lying in the fetal position, it looked kinda like an x-ray. This went on for it seemed like hours, it appeared to be over so I got up and grabbed my phone and a blue arc jumped from the phone to my fingertip, up my arm into my head. At the exact moment it went to my head, a notification went off on the tablet that read, "YOU SEE WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE TO SEE". I grabbed a Bible and when I would switch hands holding it, I noticed that thing in my head would switch sides. Every time I switched to the other hand it would go to the other side of my head. For some reason I was scared to hold it in both hands, I would try to say, "Satan I rebuke you in Jesus name", but I couldn't say all of it because that spirit in my head would not let my lips move. Then I would switch to the other hand holding the Bible and I could say it. Every radio station was playing music but I couldn't understand what they were saying, it was like in a different language. Every station I turned to, these were stations that I usually listened to, I couldn't understand anything that was being said. That spirit scared me for about 5 days, I come really close to losing my mind, because it scared me so bad. I tried to pretend like none of it was real, to help keep my sanity. I started witnessing more supernatural events and eventually started having really bad nightmares. They were all the same, I was in Hell, in a lake of fire. The dreams got worse each time. Finally after the third dream, it was so bad I couldn't deny it anymore. I went to church that Sunday and accepted Jesus and my Lord and Savior. Two weeks later I got Baptized. I've been a Christian ever since. During some of the supernatural events I went through, God revealed himself to me as the Trinity, And the God of the Holy Bible! Now I study Apologetics to help other atheists and also people of different faiths come to the one true God. I don't know why God chose to save me like he did, all I know is that he did. Its scares me so bad thinking how close I was to going to Hell and I had no idea. I didn't believe in Hell or God. Please, whoever is reading this, repent of your sin and accept Jesus and your Lord and Savior. He will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh and put his Holy Spirit in you to live. The Holy Spirit will guide you and change you into a new creature. You will have eternal life in Heaven. Jesus paid for your sins in the cross, you just need to put your faith in him and live your life for him, and you will be saved!!! God bless you!!!

These people need to tell the honest truth. Since the apologists and theologians won't I will. The truth is my fellow Christians, the trinity is not real and it was created after the apostles all died and it was taken from the pagans then incorporated into Christianity in the year 325AD. It all started with Philo the Hellenistic Jewish philosopher then to Tertullian then to St. Athanasius. Christians as usual stealing from paganism to explain their own religion, it's really sad. The trinity does not exist, the doctrine nor the word is no where in the Bible. For example,
      supposed "proofs" of the trinity
      - 1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Spirit and these three are one" - This verse is not in the original manuscripts and was added LATER by some trinitarian to support the demonic doctrine of the trinity. The original 1 John 5:7 states "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the water, the blood, and the Spirit and these three agree.
      - John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. - First off, the word "Word" in Greek is "logos" meaning "word, plan, thought, speech" not an actual being. Secondly, the word "with" in Greek is "pros" which literally means pertaining to. So the plan pertained to God. John 1:1 is NOT talking about some separate being apart from God, it's talking about the plan of God, the word of God that came into being. John 1:1 is an echo of Genesis 1:1 "in the beginning God" in the beginning was the word" you are no different than the words that come out of your mouth, you are no different than the things that you think. The word and God are one in the same.
-Genesis 1:26 "Let us make man in our image", no one in the church thinks and it's frustrating. The words "us" and "our" can literally mean anywhere from 2 to infinity no one said that it meant only 3. Second, if God is all knowing why does one God person have to tell the other god people what to do, they should already know what to do. Third, notice how the verse right after goes back to singular, why is that? There are many reasons, Plurality of Majesty, God conversing with His angels(which He is known to do), God could be literally speaking to Himself. There are so many reasons why God speaks in plural but Him being a plurality is absurd. God speaks with plurality in the Torah and in the Quran yet Muslims and Jews know that God is only one, it's a shame what Christians do.
      - The word Elohim can indeed be plural but ONLY when referring to a group not God. Elohim can be referring to judges, angels, and even false gods but when pertaining to God it is used in a singular.
There are so many other things out there that disprove the trinity but people are so blind and just devour whatever their pastor or some apologist tells them instead of doing their research. And they wonder why the church is powerless, because the church doesn't know anything. God said in Hosea "my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge" when you don't know the God you serve you won't understand His power nor will you understand your own. DO YOUR RESEARCH CHRISTIANS!! THE TRINITY IS NOT REAL! Trinitarians say "one God" but their minds say three. Trinitarians think when they get to heaven they will see three beings, which is in total contradiction to what the Bible said. There is only one throne, and only one on that throne. Even the so called "church fathers" didn't understand the whole trinity so what makes you think you will? Stop trying to defend a lie.

Coming out of Mormonism this was the hardest thing for me to learn. But I knew that if Jesus and God were One - I would see the truth through studying the scripture. I have no idea how many times I had read the book of John before I woke up. From John 1:1-5 and then in John 1:14. I remember that moment as though it were yesterday. Other scriptures to me through the Holy Spirit the true Jesus. It's almost been 30 years, now and the Word of God is so clear of the Trinity. Thank you for this message.

God the Father God the Son and The Holy Ghost , they Are ONE family. One God for a heavenly household, One father in one family.
      There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph 4)
      Read again John 1
Please don't skip "with" in verses 1 and 2,
      the Word = Jesus Christ
John 8 will will clarefy that:
16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
Regain your testimony through Spirit of Christ.
18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

Loveee Syl I was just going to take them as Jeff said it but after listening to it again his eisegesis on Hebrews chapter 1 stood out with at least three deceptions.
After telling us repeatedly that Jesus is the one who created everything, the Creator I was wondering how he was going to deal with this relevant point in verse 2, he didn't. He read vs 1 and part of 2 and missed the part which tells us who is actually the Creator.
Heb 1:1,2 "God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world."
Jeff got as far as "whom He appointed heir of all things" but conveniently missed "through whom He made the world"
Who made the world according to the writer of Hebrews?
Jeff admits that the "God" in verse 1 is the Father, who is also the "He that made the world" through His Son.
Who made the world and is therefor the Creator?
Not to forget that it was the Father who spoke to the fathers and the prophets in the Old Testament, as Jeff admits. Which means every time we read of God speaking it is the Father.
If you respond to this I will go through the other passages in Hebrews.

    • @TheCaledonianBoy
      @TheCaledonianBoy 6 лет назад +2

Loveee Syl Enlighten me please. Am I right to conclude that the Father is the creator according to the writers of Hebrews 1:1,2?

    • @loveeesyl1745

TheCaledonianBoy I understand what you were saying, I think God is very complex and we cannot understand him fully. I believe God is made in three parts the father, son, the Holy Spirit. We try To limit God as only 1, bc our brain can’t fully understand how there are so many parts to God. When there are verses in the Bible stating how all three, the father, son, Holy Spirit are wrapped in one.
Genesis 1:1 explains how God created the earth, and the spirit of God was rooming over the waters. This spirit would be the Holy Spirit, who is God himself. Genesis 1:26 when God makes man, he says let us make men in our image,(I’m paraphrasing) verse 27: God created mankind in his own image.
If Jesus was not God then why did God in the beginning say let’s make men like us? Jesus was with God in the beginning. John 1:1, in the beginning the word (Jesus) was with god..and the word was God.. (paraphrasing again) reading down more to verse 18, John testify that the word was Jesus, he was God that came down on earth in human form to bring salvation.
Jesus is the only one in the Bible that God testify is God. The Bible says there is only one God. if Jesus was not part of the trinity then he would be considered a God separate from God in heaven making it two Gods not one. That would mean the Bible was false, that there is more than one God, not.

The messiah's name was always going to be Jesus according to Zechariah Chapter 6... which is the same name as the post exile high priest ,Yeshua!
if the concept of Messiah and God are separate then it doesn't automatically follow that sins can be forgiven.. only God can forgive sins. furthermore if the expectation of Messiah is to reverse the events of Genesis 3 Genesis 6 and Genesis 11 then by Definition messiah has to be more than just a man.
Jesus being born of Mary but not of Joseph is not a problem according to Jewish history because I believe during the reign of Queen Alexandra Jewish law made Heritage pass on, by matrilineal Bases.
A basis for the Trinity can be established in the Old Testament by passages like Amos 4:11Isaiah 48:16.. and Judges chapter 2:1 and Daniel 7:9-14
Support for the idea of God becoming man in Scripture are Deuteronomy 18 verses 15 to 18 Focus of the verse speaks of the coming Messiah coming from lineage of Israel like unto moses.
We also have Exodus chapter 23 verse 20 and 21 the context of which is speaking about the future Endeavor of going over Jordan then we come to Joshua chapter 5 verses 13 to 15 and the context of this passage is having just gone over the Jordan into Israel.
Another proof of this idea perhaps most glaringly Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 4-10... the first thing you want to pay attention to is titles in verse 4 and verse 9... Hashem and the word of the Lord these titles are used interchangeably there's some definite implication there but the point of emphasis here is verse 9 because it goes a little further than just anthropomorphic language.
Now the next concern is did Jesus ever claim to be God? And for this the scriptures I would provide are Matthew 26:64 Jesus directly quotes Daniel 7:13
John 10:34 Jesus claims to be the judge in Psalm 82 referencing verse 6
In John 10 versus Both 11 and 14 Jesus Yeshua says that he is the Good Shepherd and you can cross-reference this with the very first line of Psalm 23.
In Mark chapter 6 starting from verse 45 Jesus walks on the water this is something designated in the Old Testament for something only God (job 9:8) can do this separates Jesus from the other people who did miracles.
Where another claim would be is in the fact that Jesus forgives sins, off the top of my head is Mark chapter 2
now certainly there have always been Messianic claimants but none of them have ever claimed to forgive sins.
Now the question becomes why would Jesus so secretive why didn't he just come out and say that he was the Lord God of Israel?... well one scripture off the top of my head of that I would provide here that might be interesting is this Matthew 16:20 "then he commanded his disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ"... my suggestion to you here, would be that the crucifixion how to take place at a certain place at a certain time and under a specific set of circumstances.
Please Look into all the scriptures I made mention here I hope this helps even one person
Hashem bless everyone of you... in the name of Jesus both son and God of David king of Israel, amen...

On the 6th day God said"Let US make man in OUR image. The word Trinity is not in the Bible but neither is omnipresent. But just because the actual word Trinity insnt in the Bible doesn't make the teaching of the Trinity unbiblical. Jesus is in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. God the Father is called the creator in The Old Testament. Jesus is called the creator of everything in The New Testament. Jesus is the manifested almighty God.

Trinity is false. Since our father Adam (peace be upon him), till the seal of prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), God was and is always 1. He is not 3 in 1 (which is very problematic) , nor he is 3. Hope you watch this. I love for you what I love for myself, so please watch this > this video is a gift for you.

AgainstNeWorldOrder it would make more logical sense. Look at our universe. Look how complex it is. Would you say life is complex? Then why can't people understand that if life was created by a Creator than the Creator would have to be far more complex than his creation. You dismiss the Trinity because you can't wrap your head around it. So what. If you did than he wouldn't be God, you would. God has revealed himself through scripture in plural yet singular forms. Let US make man in OUR image. Singular but plural. There is a 3rd dimension to the universe but since it doesn't make sense to you, than you dismiss it. God is not on trial here, we are. You don't need evidence. That's not the problem.

you are right in a sense that there is nothing of what we know can be compared to God (and this is mentioned in Quran), Allah says in Quran [The english transaltion of the arabic meanings of Quran]: ""....There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing." chapter 42 - verse 11.
but you are still wrong in trinity because of these three reasons, and there are still other reasons too:-
1- logical thinking indicates that God is only 1 (not 3), take a look on his Creation and this beautiful system we live in, all indicates to the oneness of God, the sea, the mountain, the land, the birds, the fish, we human...etc all indicates that there is 1 God behind it all, the one who created it to be in this perfect shape and order. If they are 3 in 1, or even more, you will see many differences in this perfect order.
2- God told us so, He told human many times throughout the history, since our father Adam (peace be upon him) that he is only 1, He is not a human, he is not an idol, he does not eat or drink or even go to the bathroom, he does not sleep. so these things are being told By God about himself, and so we should believe it this way. look at the old testamtnet, is God described to be 3? look at Abraham, did he worship 3? look at the Jew, Do they worship 3? did Adam (peace be upon him) or even Noah (peace be upon him) or even David & solomon (peace be upon them) worshiped Jesus (peace be upon him) or even mentioned his name? just think about it.
3- If priests can't get married and have a son because of such position, dignity and veneration, how dare you or how can you give this kind of attribute to God almighty?

AgainstNeWorldOrder I don't believe in the validity of the Quran, I'm sorry. The Quran gives a false God. It is based on works and not by faith alone. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. He is the only way. The title he gives himself is "son of man". He was referring to the Book of Daniel. He wasn't saying I am like God or I have God in me. He was proclaiming to be the Almighty. I don't believe in Muhammed, he was a false teacher who actually had slaves.

    • @AgainstNeWorldOrder
      @AgainstNeWorldOrder 6 лет назад

My answer is in 2 parts:-
      Part 1:
Christianity confirmed slavery as it had been affirmed beforehand by Judaism. There is no text in the Gospels that prohibits or denounces slavery. It is remarkable that the historian William Muir criticized our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for not immediately abolishing slavery, whilst overlooking the attitude of the Gospels concerning slavery, as there is no report from the Messiah, or from the Disciples, or from the churches concerning this issue.
Rather, in his Epistles, Paul advised that slaves should be loyal to their masters, as he says in his Epistle to the Ephesians, where he enjoins slaves to obey their masters as they would obey the Messiah:
“5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,
8 because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free”
      (Ephesians 6:5-9).
(This is a small part of a complete answer on Islam and slavery" >> enter this to read it all >>
      islamqa.info/en/94840
      Part 2:
the cure of ignorance is to read and to learn, you can't just say something like "..... I don't believe in Muhammed, he was a false teacher who actually had slaves." You can't assume something to be wrong just because you have watched some Hollywood movies showing some Americans dealing with their African slaves on the past!! I assume that you didn't even read the biography of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Please enter this to read some of the the character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)>>

+ok fanriffic They do have knowledge of the Christian god, because it was put into them when we were first created in God's image. Being made in his image, we are creatures of worship, if we do not worship him, we worship the idols that we raise up in our own image, weather that be countries, false deities, beasts, fellow man, fellow woman, or any such thing. So Ok Fanriffic, it is perfectly okay to say that we do know of God, and we know that there is a standard higher than what we can achieve because we are sinful, and that is why we create gods in our own image, so that we may achieve our own goals while ignoring God's.

@@stokes2672 lol never said that. The Father and Son are one person different roles. Son is human, Father is Spirit. The Bible says that God is Holy and He is Spirit, boom Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not just God in action and God's power but it's another title for God. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she gave conceived meaning that the HS caused her pregnancy which makes the HS the Father of Jesus. I'm not entirely sure how this works just yet, I'm still studying but the Trinity is definitely fake and it took centuries for them to formulate the idea just do your research. the point is the Trinity is not the best way to look at God, it's dividing God when He clearly said that there is only one of Him. God said that "besides Him there is no Saviour" but Jesus is our Saviour. God only can forgive sins yet Jesus did. Jesus simply is God made manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16; Acts 20:28; Colossians 2:9). Whoever God is, Jesus is IN THE FLESH. John 14:9. Philp asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus said 'if you have seen me you have seen the Father, so how can you ask show us the Father. Like I said Father is Spirit and you can't see Spirit. We will never see the Spirit of God which is one reason Jesus came, to reveal the Father in a way that we can see Him. The Bible says that Jesus is the physical manifestation of the invisible God it's that simple. God didn't send someone else to do the dirty work, He came Himself just not in the way people expected; this is the true mystery that I am not sure we will entirely get till Jesus comes. But just take what the Bible is clear about. Jesus is King of Kings and he is the servant, He is the Lion of Judah yet the Lamb of God, He is the Father and He is the Son (Father is in the Son).

Jesus is savior in the NT because YHWH made him so. Without YHWH there would be no Jesus, and not savior. The power and authority flows from YHWH to Jesus, and then through Jesus to us. You are reading in meaning that is no intended. Learn to extract meaning from the scriptures respecting the context.

DrDon I think you’re overlooking something though. Why do the 1st century Christians refer to Jesus over and over distinctively as their Savior??
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”
      ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,”
      ‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,”
      ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
There’s plenty of examples. I would be hesitant to remove that title from the name of Jesus. Jesus Christ is our savior according to Gods word. So then the next question is, what does that mean regarding the verse OP mentioned?

      so there are two saviours.
Jehovah God needed a sacrifice to make up for the sin of Adam and Jesus was that volunteer :
5 So when he comes into the world, he says: “‘Sacrifice and offering you did not want, but you prepared a body for me. 6 You did not approve of whole burnt offerings and sin offerings.’e 7 Then I said: ‘Look! I have come (in the scroll* it is written about me) to do your will, O God.’”f 8 After first saying: “You did not want nor did you approve of sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sin offerings”-sacrifices that are offered according to the Law- 9 then he says: “Look! I have come to do your will.”g He does away with what is first in order to establish what is second. 10 By this “will”h we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.i

So simple a child could understand yet so complex when looked further into. I'm not interested in debating in youtube comments because it's so fruitless regardless of subject but I do find it a little funny that you think the Bible has failed miserably in finding followers from all nations.

Hey Jeff, one question, if the three that bear record in heaven are one and are members of the trinity and are co - equal and co - eternal in nature and deity, why is the Father alone called the Most High? Isn't that strange? If the three members of the trinity were involved in all of creation why does the Father alone gets the credit for the team work?

Everything before 12:44 in the video is basically true. What he is doing is setting people up to accept his trinity God by feeding them some truth first. At 12:44 he begins by saying the trinity cannot be grasped easily. He gives some wordspin about humans not being able to grasp things about God. However, everything YAH wants us to know about him is in the Bible, and we can grasp it, which is why it's there and the trinity isn't.
13:06 the bait is set. The vulnerable Christian now wants to be one of those who grasps the trinity, so he begins to listen and believe every misrepresentation that follows. Once a person takes that bait, they inadvertently violate the first 3 commandments by turning YHWH into an image made in the minds of Philosophers like Philo, whose beliefs spread through the early church and ended up hijacking true apostolic Christianity. Now the unsuspecting Christian is set up to believe Jesus is the word in John 1:1.
The verse from Isaiah 53:10 does not say YHWH was pleased, It actually translates accurately as *"It was in YHWH's divine plan and will that Messiah would suffer"*
Using a bad translation to engage an emotional thought tree in the minds of his audience is called "setting the hook" by people who use brainwashing techniques.
14:06 *"I apprehend but I do not comprehend"* means *"you might not comprehend what is coming (the trinity heresy) but you can apprehend it."* That is FALSE because the trinity doctrine is not implicitly or explicitly taught in scripture. It is a FALSE doctrine. Immediately following his bait and hook, he goes back to giving some more truth.
15:39 Now Jesus goes from Messiah to "the God man" which is pure heresy. Jesus is a godly man, YHWH's Son, YHWH's spokesperson (prophet) and His representative. Jesus was 100 percent human....a very special sinless human, but still human, mortal (he died and God cannot die). The God man teaching is heresy.
15:49 Jeff quotes a faulty translation of John 8:58. Most interpretation teams have recognized the error: "ego eimi" is not "I AM" of Exodus 3:14.
ego eimi is not the unique name YHWH gives to himself. It is translated as:
    “I am he”-Mark 13:6; Luke 21:8; John 13:19; 18:5, 6 and 8.
    “It is I”-Matt. 14:27; Mark 6:50; John 6:20.
    “I am the one I claim to be”-John 8:24 and 28
"I am he" (ego eimi) who (ho) you are speaking to - John 4:26
If Jesus was claimning to be God in John 8:58 we would see the Hebrew words:
    *"ehyeh asher ehyeh"*
which is translated to Greek as:
    *"esomai hos esomai"*
with some manuscripts rendering it as
    *"ego eimi ho on."*
The KJV translators erred and since many English translations copy the KJV this corruption of the text has spead.
In John 8:58, as with John 4:26, has Jesus declaring himself to be the Son of God and the Messiah prophesied about throughout the Old Testament.
If the viewer believes Jeff's interpretation of John 8:58, they are officially brainwashed. What follows will be an steam of improperly translated verses that will cause the new trinitarian's mind to become a feedback loop of heretically translated texts, almost impossible to snap them out of it.
15:59 Jeff says Jesus tells us we will die in our sins if we do not believe Jesus is God.
*That is FALSE DOCTRINE and absolute HERESY*
Jesus said: Believe in God, believe also in me. Why? Because Jesus spoke the words his Father gave to him. He said he was not speaking his own words but the words that belong to his Father.
LORD GOD ADONAI YAHWEH, I cannot take any more of this heretic. Please guard the minds of these poor Christians and enlighten them so they see through this man's LIES.

You nailed it John. In John 8:58 Jesus is telling people "I am he" and not declaring himself to be the "I AM" of Exodus 3:14
Jesus was saying I am the Messiah.....the one prophesied to come before Abraham existed. This verse has been mistranslated and misinterpreted for centuries. It's time the BIBLICAL truth came out. Those verses you quoted to prove *ego eimi* means something different than what Jeff is asserting perfectly refutes his teaching on that verse.
Jeff says God is one, over and over, then he calls Jesus God?? He literally has turned Jesus into a god from his own imagination.
*Jesus is the Son of God,* and those who don't believe that are the ones who will die in their sins. NOWHERE does the Bible say we must believe Jesus is God to be saved.
Excellent words johnspartan98. You exposed Jeff's false teaching.

Thank you Jeff Durbin for an excellent presentation of the ancient historical Christian doctrine of the Trinity. Anyone who is a true spiritually born Christian who believes this ancient wonderful doctrine of the Trinity can use the plethora of comments here to abundantly show how people distort, misrepresent and misunderstand this fundamental and foundational doctrine of Christians. Copy them and you can use them as classic examples of what the Trinity IS NOT. It is an awesome list right here to show how people misrepresent it and he don't understand it. Ohhhh I get it now!!!!
So what you’re saying is the Trinity teaches that God asked himself to go to earth to save mankind. Then he agreed with himself and volunteered himself to himself to offer himself. The God impregnated a women as himself, with himself. God prayed to himself and glorified himself repeatedly. God strengthened himself and talked to himself. Finally God forsook himself, and sacrificed himself, to prove his loyalty to himself. While dead he resurrected himself, so he could exalt himself above himself! Then he sat at his own right hand, and waited tell he placed his enemies as his footstool. Finally with satans forces defeated, God would turn his kingdom over to himself, that all things would be everything to himself!!!! I get
It now!!!! Makes total sense!!! Thank you!!!

This is exactly what I heard the other night. Jesus told me that "Humans got the trinity all wrong." He gave me the understanding that the Trinity doctrine that there are three ENTITIES in one God is incorrect. There is God, His Word, His Spirit. God sent Jesus to us as the WORD made flesh. Jesus told us he would not leave us orphans and God's Spirit was sent to us. Ultimately, not three entities, just our Father giving us his WORD as the lamb of God and much more, and his Spirit to comfort and guide us. So simple yet religion and it's scholars cannot figure it out. It takes God to make something clear to us..

God still requires you to be holy because he I Holy after salvation. He only removes the death penalty for sins, he didn't remove the law which you still need to follow. A tattooed body is a defiled temple of God. for which the holy Spirit cannot dwell. Spiritual things are not something the mind can understand. 1 Corinthians 2:14-15King James Version (KJV)
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
Salvation is by grace after this salvation which you do not earn then what? You remain like those of the world or you move to become a light for the world? How to be a light for the world if you live like the world. There is no transformation into holiness, then there is no fruit of the Spirit.

Here's the thing: why would The Father, The Son and "The Holy Ghost" be anything but three separate beings? God, knowing and understanding human beings, speaks at their level. A father and a son are distinct individuals. It's really just that simple. Done. Nothing more needs to be said, no strangely-worded creed from hundreds of years ago necessary, etc.
As for them being "one" - they are "one" in purpose, love, and understanding, which, again, is a simple concept to understand. A football team works as "one" but is made up of many people. The god head is no different.
This really shouldn't be that hard to understand, but, of course, man decides to make it weird as though it makes it more significant.

***** Your rudeness in unbelievable from someone who claims to be a holy man, So since I didn't insult you don't insult me thinking that's gonna help you prove your point, I'm guessing your Jewish? Numbers 23:19 you left some of the verse out it reads "God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind" clearly an an illustration of Gods unchanging nature no where in there does it make the same claim your cutting up of the verse tried to make, Again you cut the verse in Jeremiah 17:5 that verse reads "Thus says the lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the lord" Again I don't see your point that verse makes a clear indication against people who turn away from the lord, Psalm 146:3 "Do not put your trust in princes or sons of men, in whom there is no salvation" That's clearly saying not to trust princes or rulers because they are born of men not of God clearly meaning they cannot save you only God can, Your exegesis is not correct in interpreting all 3 of those verses,
Now on to your claims, ONE GOD who is only ONE PERSONALITY, ONE PERSON
I believe in one God and one being of God in 3 divine people, We come to that conclusion not because of anything other then scripture forces us to, Since i'm guessing your Jewish we will stick to old testament witch still has heavy evidence supporting my claim, ‘God’ is the Hebrew word ‘elohiym’. Elohiym is the plural form of the word God. It implies unity in plurality. Genesis 1:26 is famous for the verse "then God said let us make man in our image and after our likeness..."
God is separate personalities like you claim against, Psalm 110:1:
The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
God anoints God in Psalm 45:7:
You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
God is speaking and says He’ll save Israel by the Lord, their God in Hosea 1:7:
“Yet I [God] will have mercy on the house of Judah, will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword or battle, by horses or horsemen.”
The Lord rains fire from the Lord in Genesis 19:24:
“Then he LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from the LORD out of the heavens.”
God is sent by God in Zechariah 2:8-9:
“For thus says the LORD of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me.”
      Three distinct personalities
In this passage the speaker is God who has been sent by the Lord God and the Holy Spirit. This passage is very clearly shows the Trinity. Isaiah 48:12,16-17:
Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens. When I call to them, They stand up together.
Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit Have sent Me.
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.”
The Lord became the Savior but it wasn’t the Father, but the Angel of His Presence (A term referring to the physical manifestation of God), and we also have the Holy Spirit who was grieved when the people rebelled. Isaiah 63:7-10:
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD And the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.
For He said, “Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie.” So He became their Savior. In all their affliction He was afflicted,
And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.
But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.
I think this is enough evidence I will be praying for you and I greatly enjoyed are conversation God bless and peace from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you

Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. It is called the hypostatic union. As a man, Jesus ate, thirsted, slept, wept, prayed to God and died. As God, Jesus accepted worship, forgave sin, rebuked Satan, performed miracles, raised the dead and even raised Himself from the dead. John 2:19
Jesus went so far to say that if you did not believe He was God your sins would not be forgiven.
John 8:19 So they were saying to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father; if you knew Me, you would know My Father also.” Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.
In order for the animal sacrificial system to be abolished for all time and also satisfy the wrath of God a substitute for mankind would have to be found that was eternal, infinite, sinless, yet also a human being. Only Jesus met those requirements. God only accepts his own righteousness. Jesus had to be God. An angel or even a mere, somehow perfect human being would never do.
As a result of Christ's death, each person who repents of their sin and puts their faith in Jesus Christ has the righteousness of God credited to their account, so the Judge has to let them go.
II Corinthians 5:21 He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
If you are standing before a judge, guilty of serious crimes and someone has already paid your fine, the judge has to let you go.

Many times Jesus was called a man....Son of Man.
Many times Jesus was called God....Son of God.
Jesus was even crucified for claiming to be God. It was called blasphemy and punishable by death. Jesus was not crucified for claiming to be an angel, or a 'perfect' man or even the messiah. Otherwise there would have been no reason to crucify Him.

Wayne Hampson The apostate “Trinity” view of God is supported in the Bible on only two verses, 1 John 5:7 & 8. However, these two verses do not exist in the original Greek and Hebrew texts. Revealingly, they are also not found in the original 1611 printing of the King James Holy Bible. They have since been inserted to shore up the apostate concept of the Trinity, and are to be disregarded as fraudulent. In an effort of correction, many modern Bibles are now being printed without these two verses. This correction restores doctrinal continuity throughout the Old and New Testaments and once again renders the concept of the Trinity to be completely void of any scriptural support whatsoever.

+Steven John Really. I am free now through Christ. I do think for myself. I have always questioned authority and everything all my life. After 30+ years of militant atheism I've found that the truth is the gospel of Jesus Christ. (You started a sentence with "and" while calling someone else an idiot. THAT'S funny)
Jesus isn't a book character, he was the subject of books and one of the most well documented figures in history whether or not you believe his claim to be the Son of God. I suggest you brush up on your history son. It sounds like you've bought the story satan's been selling you and your pride will most likely keep you from coming to terms with that.
The fact that you stopped to comment on a strangers comment on something you claim to not believe in shows that your heart is in open rebellion against God.

@Jorden Little then why is the phrase god the son never in the bible. and why does jesus again and again say he is not in any way god. mark 10 18 Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.
john 17 1-3 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all peoplethat he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

luke 24 39. Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a SPIRIT does NOT have flesh and bones, as you see I have."
john 8 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a MAN who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.
1 cor 8 6 yet for us there is but ONE God, the FATHER,from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one JUDGE, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
1 Timothy 2 5 For there is one God and one mediatorbetween God and mankind, the MAN Christ Jesus,
isaiah 53 3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a MAN of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
1 cor 15 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a MAN.
hosea 11 9 I will not carry out my fierce anger, nor will I devastate Ephraim again. For I am God, and NOT a MAN -- the Holy One among you. I will not come against their cities.
malachi 3 6 For I am GOD, I change NOT ; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
IF GOD SAYS HE IS NOT A MAN AND ALSO SAYS HE DOES NOT CHANGE THEN HE COULD NEVER IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM BECOME A MAN SINCE THAT WOULD MAKE HIM A LIAR.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-7
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
Jesus got into a boat, crossed the sea, and came to his own city. 2 Some people brought him a paralyzed man on a stretcher.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Cheer up, friend! Your sins are forgiven.”
3 Then some of the experts in Moses’ Teachings thought, “He’s dishonoring God.”
4 Jesus knew what they were thinking. He asked them, “Why are you thinking evil things? 5 Is it easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, pick up your stretcher, and go home.”
7 So the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe and praised God for giving such authority to humans.

Actually sweetheart, Godhead in Greek is "theotes" literally translates to "divinity" NOT TRINITY. So no godhead does not mean trinity and no Jesus is not part of the Godhead, the Bible says that the Godhead is in Jesus Col. 2:9.

You are in the situation of a jew denier of Yeshua really.
Some teach the same Judaic teachings that deny Jesus fully, and others that also relegate the Holy Spirit to a power or force, but Jesus unambiguously refers to the Holy Spirit as HIM, the Teacher, Counselor, the Advocate, the One Who convicts the world of sin...that HIM that Jesus said he would ask the Father to send, and that HIM is a persona of the essence of God. You are warned never to grieve the Holy Spirit. Can you grieve a force? a power? You are warned NEVER to blaspheme the Holy Spirit for a reason.
Man can worship in spirit and truth..that is bowing his own spirit in truth, and that is revealed in the man BY that Holy Spirit...or no man can really make the acknowledgement of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
1John 5:7 s somehow removed under contrived reasons by deniers:
For there are THREE that testify in heaven..The Father, The Word and the Holy Spirit and these three, are ONE.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear record in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood and these three agree in one”.
The trinity is not really a 'doctrine'..it just IS.
' Angel of the Lord' is what theologians used as best descriptive for that triune Godhead in the absence of real words to quantify or explain that ' manifestation'.
A prime example is the visit of God to Abraham. What you see is a nice theological version of ' 3 men' , the Angel of the Lord and their numerous pitfalls to then create 2 ' angels' that go into S&G in their efforts to put a 'human logic' meaning to that scripture..Thats what that whole scripture is about, its the full manifestation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit executing judgement..in unison.
In the visitation to Abraham-Its why God said ' I ' will come down MYSELF..and why Jesus said ' Before Abraham I AM...because it was HIM there..along with that HIM, the Holy Spirit that ' LORD' gave instruction to HIM..YHWH in heaven when the sulphur rained.
Its the whole reason why Jesus said to those pharisees etc ' You think you study those scriptures diligently and have life..but its those same scriptures that TESTIFY of ME!'..
Up to now some jews will say ' where in the testament is Jesus?? where? show us??..and they laugh and mock..which is why they are set for destruction..until they acknowledge Jesus Christ as GOD...as YHWH commanded. They never knew what Jesus was talking about..but they did know I AM was claiming to be God, which Jesus in fact IS..and they wanted to kill him because they very well knew that I AM was in reference to the Father..its why til today they persist in rejection of Jesus. (not all..MOST)
If you read that scripture carefully ' in the spirit' then you will understand that triune Godhead very well. Little things to note:
1- YHWH was never a 'man ' really..but in this case revealed Himself to Abraham that way. If you read well, you will also notice YHWH mention that He also did not reveal Himself to Abraham in certain ways. Its also why you see Jesus mentioned in essence' If you have seen ME..you have seen the FATHER ' and again, nobody understood that.
2- Actual text makes no mention of malakim (angels) there..but theologians used that to make it a palatable and simple story.
3- When YHWH mentions 'US' and 'OUR' 'in reference to what we might conceive as ' GOD' , it is really in reference to Jesus (Yeshua) and that Holy Spirit..the persona even Jesus referred to as HIM...the Spirit sent forth from the Father.
4- If you concede that the Father YHWH was speaking to Abraham and then left him( returned to heaven), then you might understand that the 'persons' of Jesus and the Holy Spirit were in the form of the 2 men (noted as angels) that entered the city.
5- When the 3 'men' appeared the interpretation tells you Abraham addressed ' them' as Adonai..or ' Lord' as some interpretations say..
You may read in essence: one of the men said to Sarah that she would have a son, and that he would return to her at the appointed time the following year. I shall submit that is the persona of the Holy Spirit . Sarah laughed,,and YHWH..the Father asked her why she had laughed...in fact you may read that Abraham also laughed to himself, yet YHWH was somehow terse with Sarah. The same Holy Spirit initiated conception in Mary..In Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist and also here in the OT..in Sarah.
6- The ' Lord' on earth concurred with the 'Lord' in heaven ( 2 on earth = Lord..1 in heaven = Lord) Here, is where human logic trying to draw a defined line in this full manifestation of ONE fails..and people fight and deny it til today..specially the Jews. That cannot understand that the meaning of 'greater' as refers to the Father is of essence of the Godhead and that 'full authority' of Jesus as the Son, and if put in words the ' intermediary' yet still 'one'..the Holy Spirit.
7 The scriptures also says no man has seen God..yet the scripture also plainly says YHWH spoke to Abraham, manifested there as ' a man' and Abraham 'saw' God..These are things that human logic tries to pick apart and get smart about, and feel all puffed up and airy about..however Jesus said plainly ' you will DIE for 'unbelief'..and this is actually the end of those. The same will really accept Mayan, Sumerian, Egyptian and other cultures and explanations of gods as 'fact' but ask yourself why so many can never accept the triune Oneness of Three. Its because its beyond human definition, and the TRUTH..any other pagan explanation of so called deities is always more palatable..thats as satan intended.
The triune nature of God is displayed again at Jesus baptism. The Holy Spirit comes down..it manifests visibly..and all there saw that...Not because that was necessary, but God gives a display of that for human eyes..Its also why you see Jesus say that you can say anything about him (Jesus)..but gives a dire warning about blaspheming the Holy Spirit that is sent forth from the Father. In case you didn't notice there is a somewhat scary strictness of the Father.. and then the Holy Spirit..referred to as HIM is the perveyor and conveyer..the interpreter, teacher, counselor that also has the array of ' gifts' and simultaneously also represents awesome judgement..the convictor of the world and sin..and that more compassionate nature of Jesus who became flesh..Its really why Jesus IS that only one that can intercede for mankind.
The baptism of Jesus is also a parallel to Genesis..' The spirit of God hovered above the waters'..letting the believer know again that Jesus is from eternity..from everlasting, and was at the creation also..its why scripture says ' In Him, ALL things hold together ' yet science is still trying to figure out what holds everything together. Don't you think its just hilarious that the same people that say there is NO God..are looking for a ' God particle' ?..I mean reallyyy..someone has to be STUPID, and its not the believer. I'm telling you a fact..I have heard scientists and atheists say that..' God Particle' ..perhaps you even heard it yourself.
You can listen to all the great tales about atoms..and quarks..and whatever fab sounding waffle is made up..but Jesus Christ holds all things together..even the particles between the very air that slips between your fingers...ALL things seen, and unseen..
Many went to great extents to change words, remove words, add words and do all manner of things to deny and remove that triune nature of the Godhead that IS..Scripture is for the believer, and translation by the Holy Spirit..Nobody can make these acknowledgements except by the Holy Spirit and nobody devoid of the Spirit can ever understand it.
Only foolish people ask things like ' If Jesus was God, how could he die? ' or ' So God gave birth to himself, dies and went to himself?... Its why those that deceived jw's, mormons, sda's etc and even catholics in many ways are set for destruction. If not deceived on matters of the triune nature of God, its calling Jesus Michael the archangel..or believing apparitions are Mary, and additional 'mediators' or worse....however the believer that is free from denominational interference is lead to understand many things. As a believer, you should always be praying for those caught up in unbelief.
This scripture is not a simple story..Its fabulous, powerful and deep for the reader empowered by the Holy Spirit to understand all that transpired...its deeply spiritual and for the faithful.
It is incomprehensible to anyone attempting to apply human logic to scripture...its why this teacher trips over himself numerous times, because he is devoid of the Holy Spirit, and reliant on human logic.

bigzack1011 The very concept of the trinity does not exist in the bible, not just the word.
the trinity teaches that there's a god that consists of three "equal" parts.
      The bible contradicts that:

Linda Bickston All people need God's mercy and grace, including trinitarians.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Of course, God's son is the exemption because God who is sinless would not pollute his own son with sin. Adam and Eve brought evil and sin upon mankind, but God foreknowing this planned ahead so that Jesus blood could be pure of sin, it could start off and remain innocent blood.
Remaining innocent blood was Jesus' choice. He chose to believe and obey God regardless of the challenges and temptations to do otherwise.

    • @respectgod3302
      @respectgod3302 8 лет назад +2

bigzack1011 God uses many names and titles to teach who He is. In fact, the word "god" is one of those words He uses. God is holy, an attribute of God and God is spirit, John 4:24. Therefore, it is no surprise that God would use the words "the Holy Spirit" as another name or title for himself. God refers to himself as a rock as a shepherd, as Lord, as a fortress ....
Trinitarians seem to think that since God calls his son "god" in Hebrews 1 that that is proof that Jesus is "the God". if that is so, then since God calls himself a rock does that mean all rocks are God? or that all shepherds are God?
      Truth is consistent.
That is one reason I conclude that the trinity is false doctrine, its "proofs" are not consistent with scripture nor with scriptural logic.
Since God calls himself a rock, is that proof that God is literally a rock? Is he himself the rock so big that even he could not lift himself?

I've been studying on the trinity for a while now and can I just say that there is a genuine need for thorough comprehensive study of the fundamental Bible truths we hold. People rely so much on the Pope, pastors, prophets and others to teach them the Bible, that they are prone to putting the pastor's word above the Lord's. We need to study the Bible ourselves through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We have to allow God to speak for Himself.
This is what God has opened my eyes to, now I see why sometimes Athiests and Agnostics and people of other faith think Christians are brainwashed, because we rather rely on pastors and church leaders to teach us about God other than having a relationship with God, studying His word, and questioning the doctrines that we are taught. The Lord laid it on my heart to tell you this. To tell anyone that would listen this. The doctrine of the trinity is false. I've studied the history of the trinity, tracing from Athanasius to Constantine and thanks to the Holy Spirit, I've left that belief. I believe in Jesus Christ, He is the Father incarnated. The Father, Son, and HS are not sperate "persons" but one person who has revealed Himself in more ways than one.
It's important to know, especially when telling others about our faith, the truth about out beliefs. The Trinity has always been a hot topic in the church for centuries after Jesus ascended. It's nothing new. This is a brief summary of the history concerning this doctrine. But centuries ago, in the late 200s and early 300s, the leaders of the Christians church were trying to figure out what the NT books meant when they talked about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Because we have to note that the NT books were compiled around the 3 or 4 century. And this caused confusion
The church leaders had no idea the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. So out of confusion they began coming up with theories, marking out their positions, kicking each other out of the church, and breaking up (this is one of the things that caused the East and West schism which was the break of communion between the Catholic church and other churches)
and they told everyone who didn't believe in their doctrine that they would go to hell. The topic of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit was one of, if not the biggest topic among Christian leaders in the year 325. The Roman Emperor Constantine who is sometimes seen as "the first Christian" emperor when in reality the guy was a pagan and saw religion as a way to expand and unite his empire. So Constantine along with some of the church bishops held a council in the town called Nicaea, and these bishops came up with the first version of the statement of faith that attempted to define the relationship between the Son and the Father. The statement they drafted is called the Nicene Creed which is what the vast majority of Christians and Christian churches have accepted as essential doctrine. And yet this is where the church got off track why? because although the Nicene creed does not contain the words "trinity" or "persons" (neither does the Bible by the way), what it DID say about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit set the church on a course towards the doctrine of the Trinity of persons. One or 2 centuries later, the Athanasian creed, another statement of faith which was composed and assembled by St Athanasius, greatly expanded on the Nicene creed and DID include the words "trinity" and persons. This introduced contradiction, confusion, and polytheism into the church even though no one wants to admit it.
(notice how none of them, not the church fathers, not Tertullian, or even St. Athanasius called upon the Lord, like the people in the Bible did. Whenever the children of the Lord wanted to know about God they called to Him and He answered. But in this situation, no one did that. None of them claim to even be inspired by God. All of this confusion was created by men trying to figure God out without the Spirit of God. God is not the author of confusion, but we get ourselves confused when we don't consult God about anything.

    • @MakatAlexander
      @MakatAlexander 7 месяцев назад

Great question! Sorry that the answer came so late.
Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God. And they are all the same God. BUT they are not the same person (yeah, God is awesome, and I know it's hard to comprehend). God is not three beings and one being, not three persons and one person; God is three persons and one being. Because God is infinite, he cannot be divided up into parts (what's half of infinity? it doesn't work to try to divide it). Therefore, as the Bible clearly teaches that the Father is God, the Son is God and the Spirit is God, we have to conclude that God is one being who is three persons, and therefore (as he cannot be divided) all three persons share the same essence and being that is God. Whoah! This is't a logical contradiction, but it's so different from how humans function (that is, we're one in being (one human) and one in person (one Jeff)).
The answer to your question should therefore be obvious (though I remember having the same question myself). Jesus prays to the Father, meaning that one person of the Trinity prays to another person of the Trinity. Because they share the same being that is God, you could technically phrase it as "God praying to God", but more precisely, it is one person of the godhead praying to another. That is the immense truth of our God: he is a community entirely onto himself, which gives him no reason to need us. God isn't lonely and doesn't need us for company (nor for anything else). But because he is a community of overflowing love, it is entirely natural for him to create other beings to glorify him and be loved by him.

The word Trinity did not come into common use as a religious term until after the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325, several centuries after the last books of the New Testament were complete. It is not a biblical concept.

Isn't Jesus Christ the MEDIATOR (Between) God and men ?
    Isn't God A SPIRIT ( INVISIBLE) ?
Isn't The HOPE of All Christians that GOD will DWELL in US ??
    Will we be Gods ?
It's Not About philosophy , 1 God Means 1 God who is A SPIRIT and invisible.

So good. Undeniable. Well put together. Easy to understand. Let the Word of God speak. It's not complicated. Triune God. Father. Son. Holy Spirit. Working cohesively together. Perfection is perfected. "Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin." Plural. KJV, Hebrews 9:22.

As an ex-catholic (50+yrs. old) I am now a biblical Unitarian (not a universalist). As a catholic I recited a man-made creed which when I finally read my bible that creed made me read the bible with one eye on the creed and another on the scriptures. The result was confusing (my education is in math and engineering science) so I simply put the creed aside and prayed and trusted in God. The results were astonishing and my love for God grew and my love Christ grew without playing around with silly explanations describing the trinity or oneness theories. Yes I said theories. Because of the undeniable truths in the Bible I now Trust in God and ask for His Spirit Luke 11:13 and watch the confusion fall away like dead branches falling off a tree that God is pruning.

So you disagree with John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
In the beginning was the Word(Jesus), and the Word(Jesus) was with God (The Father), and the Word(Jesus) was God.
      Jesus was in the beginning.
Jesus was with the Father in the beginning.
      Jesus was also God.

“Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand - thousands times thousands - all of whom were singing in a loud voice: “Worthy is the lamb who was killed to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!” Then I heard every creature - in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them - singing: “To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power forever and ever!” And the four living creatures were saying “Amen,” and the elders threw themselves to the ground and worshiped.”

Here is Jesus and the Father being worshipped together. The Father would never allow that if Jesus is not co-equal and co-eternal with the Father. Jesus is God!
