These videos make it sound like Butcher went out of his way to murder his team, when it was the opposite, he did everything to not have them around.
Personally I think what could be a much more impactful ending if they do something similar in the show would be them being content of dying together, not them kissing or anything that feels too cliche in my opinion. Similar to Star Wars rogue one.

W the route the show is going I think they might stick w the comics sort of and make billy the final villain by having the Temp V parasite corrupt and warp his mind until there is no more butcher and only Kessler
Also if you think about it the parasite is kind of like the boys version of symbiote Spider-Man

Who was pretty much less innocent than Billy butcher. Most of the crimes he was accused of were done by his clone in an attempt to turn him mad which they did leading to his attack on US capital, murder of US president before dying at the hands of said clone. Only good thing was he damaged the clone enough for butcher to kill the clone and get revenge for his wife’s rape (it was clone who r-word becca in the comics)
