I have lived part of your dream traveling to textile factories and markets in Asia (India, Nepal, & Thailand). There is nothing wrong with your voice. I ended up with a paralysed left vocal cord in 2000. I had trouble speaking for any amount of time and I would quickly be out of breath when talking to anyone. I had an implant put in thy throat in 2004 and that helped but I never sounded the same as I used to. Even now if I talk on the phone people ask me if I have a cold !!!! I am from Australia and I love and appreciate all the videos that you make. They have helped me so much.

I discovered you about a year ago. I found your instructions for self-drafting amazing! In fact, because of your inspiration, I self-drafted a jacket -- my first ever after 60 years of sewing!!! And, even if I don't self-draft, I feel that I have knowledge that I can use to tweek fitting or shape on the commercial or indy patterns I make. I find you charming, and your instructional information excellent. Thank you for sharing your background, and your thoughts on your life and your career. Keep it coming!

I'm shocked (& a bit disgusted tbh) that people would comment on things like your voice! It's obvious to me you have an accent, one that I couldn't quite pick (I'm a Kiwi/New Zealand, I would NEVER have picked Russian!!) but I can't believe people can be so rude as to comment negatively on it. I love your channel & you seem lovely & sweet to me. To anyone who thinks it's ok to post negative comments about ANYONE - get a life! Instead of bringing people down look for something good or kind in people - it's not hard to find something good. Just bcoz someone puts themselves out there or online it doesn't give you the right to be rude or cruel. SMH

Sometimes, people suck, and when you make a space that they can congregate, what they have to say is magnified. I'm so glad you haven't let such negativity keep you from using your voice to share your passion, and to help teach those of us looking for help and inspiration. The world is full of different voices, so a voice can't be right or wrong, they just are. Thank you for pushing that stuff aside and moving forward. There are hundreds of thousands of us that really appreciate what you've given to us.
