thanks for posting this. I was in the 8th grade when this came out, on the wrestling team, so this was huge for me back then. and then when I was 17, I was dating a 24 year old woman who modeled the tennis clothing at the club I worked out at. we watched this movie and it made her think lol..........anyways, great memories. amazing memories :-) when it watched this, it was like being in a time machine, so thank you.
I remember being excited this was being filmed in Spokane (my home town) at the time. I love the Journey song, but had to laugh at not being able to decipher many of the words (especially the beginning) without looking up the lyrics.
Woohoo I was a19yo just moved from home to live there for college summer this was filmed. My roommate and I crashed couple locations, one being the school across street from our summer jobs at DQ. Fun times
I've found and been to almost everyone of these spots too . Loved the movie . Took me a bit of time to find louden's house but the old Plexiglass Tower in the background was a dead giveaway . Left out Detroit Lions kicker the Zen master Jason Hanson. Mead high school and WSU. Saw him kick a field goal at Joe Albi from the 20yrd line. The opposite 20yrd line!
@@Stones_Throw yes Albi was the place to catch football rivalries . Just caught the battle of the Bell game a bit back , between Mt. Spokane HS vs. Mead HS . Good times 🏈
Nice, but it would have been better if you overlapped the movie with the filming locations What about the hotel where he worked? or the interior of the schools? Cafe? Bigfoot Bar?
My good friend’s dad helped build the Bigfoot tavern , and our family personally new the Erdman family that owned Ferguson’s Cafe on Garland , and my brother at one point worked at the Silver Grill at that Ridpath Hotel . Funny coincidence on all three👈🏼
Thank you for share this video clip. Soundtrack of songs are greatest. Truly enjoy movie. Why had them put on DVD blueray I order both them. Wasn't much wrestling but songs are classic hits of 1980s still is today. Why enjoy Steve Perry music. Of Journey . And many others.
The historic Monroe Street Bridge. The old WWP power house I've driven by thousand times since I was a child in the 70s and 80s. Peaceful valley is where the Swain house and Joe Albi stadium I miss that place
When I was in Spokane when I took these images I didn’t do the filming locations videos like I do nowadays. I didn’t have as much of an interest in them then as I do now, so projects like this one I’m very unsettled about and sort of embarrassed about, because I do project like this 100 times better nowadays. I was going to pull this video down, but figured I’d keep up in case people still wanted to see it. If I ever get back out that way I will for sure do a much better version with all the spots for this movie. I have done much, much more thorough filming location videos on my channel that are way, way better than this one. That said, I still enjoyed seeing some of these spots.
I don’t plan to take this video down, but I do hope one day that I can get back out to Spokane and do an updated and much, much better video of these locations. When I made this video, I really wasn’t shooting anything in video (I was just taking pictures) or doing much on RUclips. Since then, I have gotten much better about what I create and I’m almost embarrassed when I look back and see videos like this one. I only took pictures and didn’t find all the locations while I was there. I was pressed for time and just tried to see a few of the main spots. If I get back, I will certainly shoot everything in video and do a new filming location video that is 100 times better than this one. But thank you for your comment.
Really??? This is very disappointing to hear. I hadn’t heard about this yet. I was planning on trying to revisit Spokane one day and do all these locations and others and do a much better version of them. Too bad I won’t be able to revisit the stadium. I appreciate you letting me know about this though.

I was the same age when it came out needless to say it changed my life for the better I got a scholarship to college and I owe it to this movie
So under today's laws that kinda was statutory rape because you were underage....thank God for 80ies and not everyone online in your business lol
This video just put a huge smile on my face. Thank you!!!
This is awesome! Vision Quest is one of my favorite films. Thanks for sharing!
