I always pick up any plan/recipe and sell them for 1-15 caps. If your new, I will just give them to you. I remember when I first started playing a little over a year ago, a lot of high lvl players gave me a lot of stuff to help me start within the first couple hours of playing. They really enjoyed it and also enjoyed overwhelming me with info for the game. Guess that’s why I never rip off new players and pass it along. Very rare plans, I will sell accordingly.
@nicholascollins5068 you should already know how to build one. You do have to have a lead node within the boundaries of your camp though. If you don't the extractor won't appear in your menu. Same goes for the other extractors too.
Partial solution early on searching for plans is to join a public team and fast travel to their camps for FREE to see what they've got. Jump from team to team(this also helps you discover locations early in the game). Water purifiers at your own camp can generate caps and you usually get a purifier plan when you take over the easier to take over workshops. A collectron robot helps gather stuff, too. Harvest food. Heck, travel to the farms on the far left middle side of the map(one is the workshop) and grab a bunch of corn and razorgrain. Sell all you can and plant a bunch of it at your own camp to harvest to sell, too. Always stash your junk. Do public events as often as you can and if you are under-powered, big deal as you are only losing bullets if you keep dying in the event and hopefully other higher levels carry the load to complete it. Pay attention for player dropped loot baggies at public events when they don't feel like scrapping or carrying anything to their own scrap/stash boxes and at the train stations.
True, i dont play that kind of way. My camp JO7Z, plans 20, eating plan 10 and tresors cards 50-80. I dont make lot of money, but a lot of buyin, sometime too much... empty plan sellin :D Who buy 30000 chhhht?!?
I just picked up 76 a few days ago and your videos are the first I've been watching. I've been a big fallout 4 builder and really looking to build more in 76.
I felt the same way at first. There's a different mindset to 76 that you have to settle into. Once you've played around with it for a bit it'll click. 😎 My approach is to build small structures and go crazy on the details. Actually at this point that's practically my catchphrase! 😂
@@DarthXionGames ive attempted to create a 2 floor house on one of the small rivers / streams but there was a tree in the way i liked the location that i adjusted to the tree i nthe way and have since built around it but i have built another in another location with more over heard room near the race track/ fairgrounds. im enjoying finding new locations that i can finally build ontop of or create something new
I had no idea there were camp plans being sold at Whitesprings. Been playing this game for 3 years now. Thanks. I'm down about 20,000 caps but with lots of new designs.
It's a convenient way to pick them up. Apart from the unique ones Pendleton has, there are faction vendors there too, so you don't have to travel between a bunch of train stations to pick things up.
Your cap limit is 1400 a day from in game vendors, BUT>...you can fudge this in a sense by selling that vendor weapons or drugs or whatever, to get the 1400, then buying plans from them. That refills their caps pool....repeat selling to them and buy more plans etc. Farm weapons and armor from mole miners and mutant, both of whom drop tons of weapons and armor. Sometimes I get 2-3 weapons and 1-2 armor from one mutant.
I got 1st and only after seeing this did I do a private world on my own and went to all the public workshops for the rando rewards. And despite being currently (as of this post) lv45, I’ve been playing for four weeks after getting 76 free via Amazon Prime Gaming’s limited free offer for XB1 (when I left vault 76, I started at lv20 with a Slugger perk build).
I really with they would add descriptions to the plans or have a picture of what the item looks like because a lot of times you have no idea what youre buying unless you stop and google it and then spen 10 minutes searching for an answer.
take some radx before you do the event, as it's not a ton ton of radiation to sacrifice your armour/PA (whatever you use). And make sure you're fully specced into your weapons (all 3 level 3 cards) if you can. I've made it through before with just the new Cold Shoulder shotgun. Bringing a buddy helps too. if you create an events team, usually people are looking to do the events whenthey join, so they'll come along to help.
I’ve gotten to the point where I’m basically only missing the rarest of plans like backpack mods, and rare drops from holiday/spooky scorched and mole miners. It gets tiring going around camps and seeing instrument plans over and over 🙄
For making caps, one run of the event Radiation Rumble and selling the glowing blood picked up from all the ghouls nets somewhere around 800 caps. This alone is over half of the daily limit of 1400 caps. I sell grenades, purified water and chems to get to the cap. If you use the chemist perk and also super duper, you can turn 1 stimpack or radaway into 8 diluted versions sometimes... then sell those ofc
It depends on the plan imo. If it's something that's either hard to come by or that is obtained through something that some people aren't interested in doing then a higher price makes sense.
Lol sold all my faschnact plans for 10 caps. (I always feel bad selling more than for 20 unless its the mothman throne. Don't buy that if you find yourself at my camp. Its priced terribly as an inside joke.) I plan to have the same prices for the alien plans. General plans: 10-15 caps Chems: 1-5 caps depending Stempacks: 1 cap Bobbypins: 1 cap Ammo: 1 cap Plasma cores: 1-3 caps Fixer plans: 5k respectively (it took me ages to get the plans hence price ) Weapon plans (hard to get): eh. It depends. Anywhere from 50 to 300. I usually undersell anything my partner puts in his camp just to be a pain. (He still sells far more than me for some reason) Apparel can be anything from 10 to 30 caps.
I want to add that; sometimes people sell their plans too cheap and it can be more than one. So you can buy 2 or 3 of that plan and sell them again. With this you can earn more caps.
These days you should be able to pick a lot of building plans up pretty cheap. Longer term players will have picked up countless copies of the more basic stuff. They have weight too, so selling cheap helps clear the stash. It's the rarer plans that I'm surprised at though. Seasonal events and plans that drop from harder content I would expect to see costing more.
Great stuff, had no idea I could take over workshops on Private Server... Only been playing two weeks now, so need plans for sure! I guess I know what I am doing tonight. LOL
Nice! I love to hop around visiting players vendor/ shops. I just wish (especially higher level players) would stop selling all these crappy Ultracite armor plans. I mean why? Even when I had some for 1 caps in my vending machine they wouldn't sell. And I just spent some caps traveling to your camp thinking you'd have tons of (nice) plans.
Still waiting for my .8% drop chance for Ultracite Calibrated shocks to drop from SBQ some of the drop rates I believe are just the Devs trolling us at this point.😔
I have a question: when you're at an event and the battle is over, while I'm looting items from slain enemies, am I stealing loot from other players? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Nope, you're all good. Loot away! It's all player specific, so no one misses out. The only shared stuff are scrap things like desk fans and tin cans. Those will respawn reasonably quickly anyway.
It depends on your use really. The atoms cover the cost of the subscription so that's not bad if you want stuff from the shop. The scrapbox is great to have too. There's a bunch of freebies included, and extra rewards on the scoreboard too. And there's the survival tent and private and custom worlds. It comes down to what you'll make use of really. For me, most of it's pretty useful, but others don't get too much out of it. Some people like to get the odd month here and there, stock up the scrapbox whilst it's active, and then go a few months without it. 🤷♂️
Yes if your looking for certain things for building/crafting also keys and and plans you can find the ones you need that are popular you can farm for copper and fusion cores at workshops and leave it running and just go back now and then without anyone taking them over but it’s not good if you wanna sell stuff but you can have you and upto 7 freinds to join as you have a private server 😊😊
it really depends on your playstyle. I tried it out for a month and just looking at the weight of the materials I've been able to freely gather... 100% helpful. I'm a quester/gatherer type so I prefer to be alone and uninterrupted when I'm in that mode. The private server has been disappoint as it's not "built for you" and you'll often fight through a dungeon to find it's already been looted of the magazine or bobblehead you came in for, let alone fusion cores for people that use those. I don't, so when they're missing, it's like "ah, looted server". BUT sometimes the quiet is nice, especially for workshop claiming. PVP makes me anxious and I've been able to just quietly get them cleared with my irl friends on our own server since only I need the sub for them to participate.
I was watching one of your through the keyhole episodes, brilliant as ever, on one you mentioned not having military style bunk beds available, as you are the "crafting genius of the fallout world", would it be possible to combine 2 military cots using the metal conduit pipes, just a thought but might take a genius slash patience of a saint kind a guy to make it work. Level 40 is a bit early to be worrying about that though. Inventory management, (and stash management), are key skills too. They kind of go against your instincts sometimes but it's necessary to learn if you want to manage your carry weight.
