It's amazing how many times it just comes down to: don't lie or try to deceive. As long as your open and honest about what your doing no one should have an issue. If your making a new make and its part of a line that is going to be aged in to proper whisky, I don't see the problem with releasing some of the new make and calling it new make whiskey. In my mind this is way better than companies sourcing whisky and then making up a bullshit marketing story about it. Its impossible to operate a distillery for 2+ years and not sell anything. So why not sell some of the new make.
So, we all know Ireland and Scotland are major sources of interesting whisky, but I'm wondering why I've never heard of any English whiskeys. Is there some law in place preventing production in-country or exporting, or is it that their neighbors have held the market for so long that they never felt the need to set up a whisky industry there?
I'm so offended by the bear not being properly clothed. (I once worked with a women who canceled her newspaper subscription because the comic strip Beetle Bailey showed the naked backside of one of the cartoon characters.)
Grain whisky generally is less flavourful and also doesn't get stored in quality casks, sometimes 5th or even 6th fill. It's blend filler in general. There is good quality grain whisky out there but it's very hard to find. Check out www.whiskyfun.com/grain-whisky.html and see what Serge has to say. He has reviewed a lot of them.

It’s not Whiskey until it’s aged in a Barrel- don’t take away from American heritage of shine. And I like the new MB but that Bear is Necked! If the spirit Eagle gets cover so do the bear. And Glencairns in they paws
If this is from a distillery that doesn't exist anymore, doesn't that go against the 'accessible' requirement for the daily reviews? full Santa Fe Spirits episode when?
@@phauntis I actually do not have a prefrence, I do however have yet to taste anything outside of Scotch, Irish, Bourbon and Canadian. A great idea would be Japanese, Taiwanese, (idk if Scandinavian is readily avaliable) but perhaps Rex and Daniel can enlighten us!
