Anyone else feel like these two could act in a civil war movie as the comic relief and absolutely nail the roles? Like... Daniel is the serious-at-his-job, sharply dressed, Artillery Commanding General which explains his deafend ear and the raising shoulder reflexes from saluting while canons are going off. And Rex, Is the carasmatic, horse riding, how-did-he-get-a-postion-of-authority-over-others-but-no-one-bothers-to-question-it-because-he's-just-too-fun-to-be-around General who always likes busting balls, joking and trying to take the edge off for his men who are stressed out from battle. Always coaxing Daniel to share the stash of alcohol that he KNOWS he has hidden. Lol

My favorite flavor trip: Use Ammonia Smelling Salts (the kind powerlifters/boxers use) then immediately take a sip of a cask strength heavily peated whisky (I prefer laphroaig). 0/10 would not recommend but I think it would be hilarious to see Daniel's reaction.

Rex, no comment about the cork on that monster? Significant other suggestion was to cut the cork off and use the top as a glencairn coaster.
Some Japanese pears are really sweet and have weird mushy textures while others are more astringent and have rather crunchy and grainy textures. They taste completely different... And European pears are still different from any of the Japanese pears
I find green apples or not overly sweet apples (that are not entirely tart either) help to reset my palate whilst trying various whiskies - EVEN after peated ones.
If I smelled burned toast while having a stroke, I'd have a heart attack too.

For anyone in the comments who don’t have a beard or mustache, I can confirm for you whenever you taste/drink whiskey the smell sometimes stays on your mustache part and it smells wonderful throughout the day lol. Idk just thought someone was curious for people who can’t grow beards.
